Merchant Taylors' Prep, (formerly Northwood Prep School) is an independent boys' preparatory school located in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England, which merged into affiliated[1] Merchant Taylors' School, Northwood, in September 2015.[2][3]

The merger enabled Merchant Taylors' to become an all-through school from age 3 to 18 providing a "cohesive and seamless curriculum".[1]

The Headmaster of the former Northwood Prep School and the Headmaster of Merchant Taylors' described that they "believe it [the merger] will give our students a richer, broader and more personalised learning experience."[1]

The Tudor palace of The More lies under the playing fields to the west of the school.
