Nalegaon is a village it is a well marketed place. Here we found various places of religious importance the temples like Mahadev Mandir, Balaji Mandir, Siddheshwar mandir, Ganesh mandir, Datta mandir, Khandoba mandir etc and one of the oldest mosque (masjid-e-sara) of around 1500 A.D. Nalegaon got importance by sugar factory one of the well known factory of Mhaharashtra, named jai jawan jai kisan sugar factory shastri nagar nalegaon. there is an oxen market every Tuesday. nalegaon comes in chakur tehsil subdivision of Latur district in the Indian State of Maharashtra. There are many schools at Nalegaon but Anant Tuljaram Naik Vidyalaya is the most famous school in Nalegaon. There is a senior college Shivjagruti Mahavidyalaya in Nalegaon. There is a Ganpati temple Nalegaoncha Raja on Deongra road.there is small village near nalegaon on latur udgir road called Yelamwadi.
