Naku, Boss Ko!

Naku, Boss Ko! (lit. Oh My Boss!) is a Philippine Political-Romcom mini-series broadcast by GMA Network starring Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid.[1] It is the third primetime miniseries produced by GMA News and Public Affairs (after Elemento and Ilustrado). It premiered on April 25, 2016 for a two-week run, airing on the timeslot usually reserved for GMA's Korean drama offerings. It also aired worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. [2]

Overview

The eight-part miniseries revolved around the campaign of Joven Jon Philip Ganid, also known as Jon G. (played by Madrid), a young and inexperienced mayoral candidate who was made to run by his politician father. The drama satirizes and parodies traditional Philippine politics and exposes the absurdity and hypocrisy of some of the campaign strategies used by most politicians today to win voters. It aired for two weeks right before the presidential election on May 9.[3]
