Micromonosporaceae is a family of bacteria of the class Actinobacteria. They are gram-positive, spore-forming soil organisms that form a true mycelium.

Phylogeny

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN) [2] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)[3] and the phylogeny is based on 16S rRNA-based LTP release 123 by The All-Species Living Tree Project [4]
