Mejdlaya

Mejdlaya, Mejdlaiya, (Arabic: مجدليّا) is a village in Zgharta District, in the Northern Governorate of Lebanon.[1]

The population is Maronite and Greek Orthodox Christian.[2]

There is an approximate 3,700m Olive field in town owned by the late Moses (Moosey) family, upon imagrating to the United States in the 1800's, changed their name to Moosey. The land/Olive field is valued at approximately $555,000usd according to a 2016 appraisal.
