Marta Torrejón Moya (born 27 February 1990) is a Spanish football player who plays as a defender for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team.[2] Her brother is Marc Torrejón, a footballer who plays in Germany for 1. FC Kaiserslautern.[3]

Club career

Despite her relatively young age, Torrejón has won one League and three national cups, having debuted in the Superliga Femenina at just 14 years old.

International career

Torrejón made her senior Spain women's national football team debut in November 2007, a 1–0 defeat to England in Shrewsbury.[4]

In June 2013 national team coach Ignacio Quereda selected Torrejón in the squad for UEFA Women's Euro 2013 in Sweden.[5] She played every minute of Spain's campaign, which ended with a 3–1 defeat to Norway in the quarter-finals.

She was part of Spain's squad for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.[1]
