Marko Banić, (born August 31, 1984) is a Croatian professional basketball who plays for UNICS Kazan of the VTB United League. He is 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in) tall, and plays the center and power forward position.
Professional career
Banić has played with Zadar and Bilbao Berri. He was chosen as the Eurocup Basketball MVP in 2010.[1]
In June 2012 he signed with a three-year contract with UNICS Kazan in Russia.[2] He was released after suffering a knee injury.[3]
In September 2013, he signed a two-year deal with the Spanish club CB Estudiantes.[4] In September 2014, he left Estudiantes and signed a one-year deal with the German club Alba Berlin.[5][6]
In September 2015, he returned to UNICS Kazan, signing a 1+1 year contract.[7]

Banić was part of the Croatian national basketball teams at the EuroBasket 2007, the 2008 Olympic Basketball Tournament, the EuroBasket 2009.
