Luke Thompson (born 8 February 1991) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League.

He was drafted in 2010 by the Adelaide Crows as their 1st pick in the rookie draft. He plays as a defender but can also play up forward if needed. He has currently had three guernsey numbers 1, 28 and currently 6.[1]

He is able to fly a helicopter.[2]

Thompson was delisted at the conclusion of the 2014 AFL season.[3]
