Bhandarkhal Parva 1846 Bhandarkhal, Kathmandu 23 Eliminated all the opposition of Jung Bahadur and exiled the Queen.
Alau Massacre 1847 July Alau, Birgunj 100 King Rajendra was imprisoned in Bhaktapur, led to the international recognition of his son Surendra as king of Nepal.
Massacre of 1882 (Massacre of 38') 1882 January Kathmandu, Terai 20 Eliminated all opposition to the rule of Ranodip Singh Rana and Dhir Shumsher.
Massacre of 1885 (Massacre of 42') 1885 November Kathmandu 23 Murder of ruling Prime Minister Ranodip Singh. Succession to the post of prime minister of Nepal by Bir Shumsher. Establishment of Shumsher Rana's rule in Nepal, sons of Jung Bahadur killed or exiled to India.
