The following is a list of awards and nominations received by American actor Jack Nicholson. Nicholson is one of only six performers to have won three Academy Awards in the acting categories, and is the most nominated male performer in the acting categories with a total of 12 nominations. His other major competitive awards include a Grammy Award, three BAFTA Awards and six Golden Globes. He was also the recipient of the Cecil B DeMile Award at the 1999 Golden Globe ceremony.

Academy Awards

The Academy Awards are a set of awards given annually for excellence of cinematic achievements. The awards, organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), were first held in 1929 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.[1] Nicholson has received three awards from twelve nominations.

Boston Society of Film Critics

Formed in 1981, the Boston Society of Film Critics is an organization to award "commendations to the best of the year's films and filmmakers".[14] Nicholson has received four awards.

British Academy Film Awards

The British Academy Film Award is an annual award show presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
