List of The Apprentice candidates (UK series twelve)

The following is a list of candidates from the British reality television series The Apprentice.

Candidates are listed alphabetically by series; individual candidate information is accessed by clicking on their name below.

Where a date of birth is not provided, the age given is as of the time the relevant series aired.

Frances Bishop

Age: 25; Owner of a children's clothing company.

Samuel Boateng

Age: 27; Sales manager for a major car brand. He was fired in Week 7 for ignoring the PM and selling little.^[17]

Jessica Cunningham

Age: 29; Online fashion entrepreneur.

Natalie Hughes

Age: 30; Owner of a hair and beauty salon. She was Fired in Week 2 after she was accused of barely contributing to tasks.^[18]

Rebecca Jeffery

Age: 31; Owner of a design and marketing agency. She was fired in Week 6 having never been on a winning team.

Sofiane Khelfa

Age: 32; Senior sales executive, technology. He was fired in Week 9 for his 'disregard of authority' throughout the process; he was one of two to be fired that week.

Aleksandra King

Age: 38; Owner of a business consultancy. She quit in Week 4 because she found the process 'overwhelming', missed her family and because she felt the process and future partnership would not be in line with her values.^[19]

Grainne McCoy

Age: 31; Owner of a make-up studio.

Karthik Nagesan

Age: 33; Owner of an IT consultancy. He was fired in Week 7 for selling nothing and leading his team to one of the worst defeats in the show's history. Like Elle Stevenson from Series 11, he was fired before he even got to the final boardroom.^[20]

During his time on the show, he was nicknamed "The Big K."

Michelle Niziol

Age: 35; Owner of a property consultancy. Niziol was project manager in week 1 and went on to be fired with Lord Sugar saying "Michelle, it's very easy for the finger to be pointed at you as the project manager. But having said that, I do think that there's a lot of stuff that you are responsible for… Michelle, You're Fired" ^[21]

Oliver Nohl-Oser

Age: 33; Owner of a food distribution company. He was fired in Week 3 after failing in a task related to his working industry.^[22] On the show, Lord Sugar nicknamed him "Porkos, Greek god of sausages." because he ran a business manufacturing sausages. When firing him, Lord Sugar told him "your best hope for £250,000 is to buy yourself a scratch card."

Mukai Noiri

Age: 36; Digital marketing manager, fashion. He was fired in Week 4 for being responsible for his team's failure of the task, as well as failing to deliver on any of his promises.^[23]

JD O'Brien

Age: 37; Owner of a beachwear company. He was fired in Week 5 for a consistent lack of contribution in the tasks, his hands off leadership in and because Lord Sugar felt he was too nice.^[24] JD was the only candidate that Grainne McCoy never worked with during the series.

Alana Spencer

Age: 24; Owner of a cake company.

Dillon St. Paul

Age: 37; Art director at a fashion magazine. He was fired in Week 9 for have a 'too nice' personality for Lord Sugar's liking. However, he was fired with regret.

Paul Sullivan

Age: 38; Owner of a marketing agency. Sullivan was Project Manager in Week 1 and won; this was followed by a five week losing streak. When he took the project manager role again in Week 8, he lost and was fired for losing his cool with fellow candidate Jessica Cunningham.

Trishna Thakrar

Age: 28; Recruitment agent.

Courtney Wood

Age: 29; Owner of a novelty gifts company. During his time on the show, Courtney had the most successful track record of any of the candidates, with 7 wins (excluding Week 2). Thus far, he hasn't been in a final boardroom and following the dismissals of Dillon St. Paul and Sofiane Khelfa in Week 9, Grainne McCoy described him as the "Last man standing."
