Lucjan Mostowiak (Witold Pyrkosz) is Barbara's husband. He proposed to her in 1960, when she broke off her engagement to Zenon Łagoda (despite her pregnancy with his child). Lucjan and Barbara married, and he raised daughter Maria as his own. He has three more children: Marta (born in 1970), Marek (born in 1977) and Małgorzata (born in 1980). Lucjan was in a car accident where Hanna Walisiak's parents were killed, but Hanna became their daughter-in-law when she married Marek. In 2013 it was learned that he had a sister, Hanna Mostowiak, thought to be killed during World War II. Her granddaughter, Jane Buford, came to Grabina from the US to obtain money to cure her ill sister. Lucjan lives in Grabina with his wife, son and grandchildren, and enjoys playing chess with his friend Włodzimierz Kisiel. In 2014 he did not accept Małgorzata's divorce from Tomasz Chodakowski and her planned remarriage to her first husband, Michał Łagoda. After he forgave her, they were involved in a car accident; Michał was killed, and Małgorzata lost their child.

Barbara Mostowiak (Teresa Lipowska), born in 1940, is Lucjan's wife. The most beautiful girl in her village, during the late 1950s she was engaged to Zenon Łagoda. When Barbara became pregnant and told Zenon, he demanded that she have an abortion. She refused, and Łagoda went to the US a few weeks before their wedding. In 1960 Lucjan Mostowiak, who always loved her, proposed and they married. Barbara gave birth to her daughter, Maria, on 24 December 1960; Lucjan raised the girl as his own, and Barbara decided not to tell her daughter about her biological father. The Mostowiaks have three other children: Marta (born in 1970), Marek (born in 1977) and Małgorzata (born in 1980). In 1984, their first grandchildren (twins Piotr and Paweł, sons of Maria) were born. In 2001, Zenon Łagoda returned to Poland and wanted to meet his daughter. When Maria (who was pregnant) learned that she was not Lucjan's biological child, she gave birth to her daughter prematurely and Marysia died a few hours after her birth. In 2002, Barbara and Lucjan lived with Małgorzata for six months before moving to Grabina with Marek and his children. In 2008, they became great-grandparents when Kinga Zduńska gave birth to Magdalena. One of her granddaughters, Barbara Rogowska, is named after her (Barbara saved Basia's life when she was kidnapped from the hospital after her 2009 birth). Barbara has no known siblings.

Maria (Marysia) Rogowska (Zduńska, née Mostowiak), played by Małgorzata Pieńkowska,[1] is the daughter of Zenon Łagoda and Barbara Mostowiak and the legal daughter of Lucjan Mostowiak. She was born on 24 December 1960 in Grabina, and has four younger half-siblings: Marta Budzyńska, Marek Mostowiak, Małgorzata Chodakowska and Michał Łagoda. Maria met Krzysztof Zduński in school, and married him. They spent several years in Grabina before moving to Gródek. Maria and Krzysztof had twin sons, Paweł and Piotr, and she was pregnant again in 2001. The day she learned that Zenon Łagoda was her biological father, she gave birth to her daughter Maria (who died of heart problems). Krzysztof died in 2005, and Maria married longtime friend Artur Rogowski in 2008 during their trip to Oslo to visit Artur's sister. Maria gave birth to a daughter, Barbara, in 2009 at her home in Gródek. A nurse, she worked in her half-brother's office in Gródek. In November 2012, she moved to Trondheim and the Gródek office was sold when Pieńkowska decided to leave the show. Maria returned to Poland in May 2014, helping Kinga give birth at home to her son Mikołaj. In late 2015 she discovered that her husband has a romance with Teresa Drawicz and decided to divorce him. Maria started dating her new friend, Robert Bilski. In a meantime, Artur broke off with Teresa who tried to kill Maria by her car in September 2015. Artur defended his wife and was injured by car droven by Teresa. Rogowska took care of Artur but ended her relationship with Robert in Autumn 2016. Maria and Artur are trying to reconcile their relationship.

Krzysztof Zduński (Cezary Morawski)[2] was Maria's first husband, who died in 2005 of a heart attack while he was building their house.[3] He married Maria in 1984, and they had three children: Paweł (born in 1984), Piotr (born in 1984) and Maria (born and died in 2001). Krzysztof's mother was Jadwiga Zduńska-Jabłońska, and his younger sister died of SIDS. During the 2000s, he had a romance with Ewa Skalska. Although when she became pregnant Krzysztof was believed to be the father, it was learned that Ola is Leszek Skalski's daughter. He owned two companies at the beginning of the series, before working for Zbigniew Filarski. Krzysztof was the godfather of Łukasz Wojciechowski and Aleksandra Skalska.

Artur Rogowski (Robert Moskwa)[4] is Maria's second husband who has a sister, Agata, in Oslo. Artur had an affair with Dorota Stadnicka; she became pregnant, but had a miscarriage. He married Maria Zduńska in 2008 and has one daughter, Barbara, who was born the following year. Artur has stepchildren (Piotr and Paweł Zduński) from Maria's first marriage and a granddaughter, Magdalena Zduńska, from Piotr. A physician, he worked in his brother-in-law's office in Gródek. The practice was sold and Artur, his wife and daughter moved to Trondheim in November 2012. Artur returned to Poland frequently, and in April 2013 he began a romance with Marta Budzyńska's friend Teresa Drawicz. In late 2014 Maria filed for divorce from Artur.

Paweł Zduński (Rafał Mroczek)[5] is the son of Krzysztof Zduński and Maria Rogowska, born in 1984. He has a twin brother (Piotr), a deceased sister (Maria) and a half-sister (Barbara). Magdalena Zduńska's godfather, Paweł lives in Warsaw and worked at the Oaza nightclub until May 2012. He fell in love with his mother's cousin, Teresa Makowska, who had a daughter (Agnieszka) from her previous marriage. Teresa lived in Szczecin, and came to Grabina to escape her abusive husband. They lived in Warsaw before they separated and Teresa returned to Szczecin. Paweł had an affair with Magdalena Marszałek (Kinga's and Piotr's roommate), but she went to Africa to work for Polska Akcja Humanitarna. He impregnated Sylwia Okońska; she miscarried, and although they separated they remained good friends. Paweł proposed to Maja Chojnacka; although she accepted, she was jealous of Magdalena. Maja went to Austria and Mexico because of family problems, and he was unable to find her. Although Paweł's friend Aleksandra (Ola) loved him, he only wanted to be friends. In 2011, after Krystyna Filarska's and Wojciech Marszałek's wedding, he had a one-night stand with Magdalena Marszałek (in Poland for the wedding). Paweł married Joanna Liberadzka on November 28, 2011. Their witnesses were Kinga Zduńska and Piotr Zduński and they spent their honeymoon in Karlscrona, Sweden. Paweł was jealous of his wife's continued interest in former boyfriend Jan Kozłowski, and they divorced on 10 September 2012. In autumn 2012, Magdalena Marszałek returned to Poland; they met, and remained close friends. After the divorce Paweł had a romance with his married chef, Izabela Sajdak. On May 20, 2013, he received an email from his ex-wife requesting a meeting. In 2014 he dated Alicja Domańska, who has a daughter named Barbara. At that time he proposed to former girlfriend Magda Marszałek (hospitalised for a heart transplant), who accepted. Paweł's promise to marry her helped her recover, and she apologised to Alicja for his behaviour. In late 2014 Paweł married Alicja Domańska and wants to adopt her daughter. In November 2015 Paweł with his family moved to Grabina.

Joanna Liberadzka, formerly Zduńska (Agnieszka Więdłocha),[6] is Paweł Zduński's ex-wife and the daughter of Laura Liberadzka. They married on November 28, 2011, spending their honeymoon in Karlscrona, Sweden, and their witnesses were Kinga Zduńska and Piotr Zduński. Joanna studied veterinary medicine in Warsaw until 2011. She was engaged to her teacher, Jan Kozłowski, her stepfather-in-law's (Artur Rogowski's) friend. Joanna maintains contact with Jan, spending a Valentine's Day with him in Paweł's absence. In May 2012, she publishes a scientific article with Jan as Joanna Liberadzka (which angers her husband) before accompanying Jan to the US. When she returns in September 2012 and renews her romance with Jan, Paweł divorces her on 10 September. On 20 May 2013, Joanna sent an email to Paweł and asked him to meet with her.

Piotr Zduński (Marcin Mroczek)[7] is a son of Krzysztof Zduński and Maria Rogowska, born in 1984. He has a twin brother (Piotr), a deceased sister (Maria) and a half-sister (Barbara). The godfather of Anna Wojciechowska, Piotr secretly married Kinga Filarska when they finished secondary school and they moved to Warsaw. They lived with friends before winning a lottery in 2009 and buying a house on Deszczowa Street in Warsaw. That year they had a church wedding, and their daughter Magdalena was born. After studying computer science in Warsaw, Piotr decided to become a lawyer like his aunt Marta Wojciechowska. He finished his studies in 2010, working in Berlin for several months. Piotr works at a company owned by his aunt's fiance, Andrzej Budzyński, and Adam Werner. On November 28, 2011, he witnessed his brother's wedding to Joanna Liberadzka. In March 2012 Kinga accused him of having an affair with his friend, Monika Ochman, but they reconciled. In Autumn 2014 Kinga gave birth to their second child, son Mikołaj.

Kinga Zduńska, née Filarska (Katarzyna Cichopek),[8] is the daughter of Zbigniew Filarski and Krystyna Filarska - Marszałek who was born in 1984. She fell in love with Piotr Zduński and they secretly married, despite her parents' opposition. Kinga lost her sight in a car accident, but recovered and graduated from the University of Warsaw as a psychologist. She and Piotr had a church wedding in 2009 and she gave birth to a daughter, Magdalena. An only child, in 2009 Kinga's parents also divorced. In 2011 her mother, Krystyna, married Magdalena Marszałek's father Wojciech (making Kinga and Magdalena half-sisters). Kinga is her husband's half-cousin, Anna Wojciechowska's, godmother. She lives with her family in Warsaw, and is between jobs. She worked with Mirosława Kwiatkowska at their dating website, Teraz miłość, but lost her job in 2011 when the company was sold. On November 28, 2011, she witnessed Paweł Zduński's wedding to Joanna Liberadzka. In spring 2012, Kinga was estranged from her husband because of his relationship with Monika Ochman and had a brief romance with her neighbour, Robert. When she became pregnant in 2013 Piotr thought Robert was the father, but she reassured him and they reconciled. In May 2014, Kinga went into labour alone at home. She was unable to summon an ambulance, but her mother-in-law Maria Rogowska appeared and helped her deliver her son. A child was named Mikołaj.

His paternal grandmother, Maria Rogowska, appeared and helped deliver him like his paternal half-aunt Barbara Rogowska (who was born at her parents' home in Gródek). Maria (Marysia) Zduńska (born and died on June 2, 2001 in Gródek) was the only daughter of Krzysztof Zduński and Maria Rogowska. Maria and Krzysztof had two sons (twins Piotr and Paweł, born in 1984), and were happy to be expecting their third child after so many years; Maria was 41 years old. Marysia was born prematurely with a heart problem after her mother learned that her biological father is Zenon Łagoda, not Lucjan Mostowiak. She was baptised Maria (after her mother) in the hospital, but died several hours later. Hanna Mostowiak (Marek's wife) told Maria the truth about her father, and Marek ended the marriage shortly afterwards. Hanna later apologised, and she and Maria were friends until her death in 2011. Marysia had a maternal half-sister, Barbara Rogowska, from her mother's marriage to Artur Rogowski. Barbara was born eight years after Marysia's death, when their mother was 49 years old.

Barbara (Basia) Rogowska (Diana Dudzińska), born November 3, 2009 in Gródek,[9] is the only child of Artur Rogowski and Maria Rogowska. She was born in their home in Gródek, with Artur delivering her. Maria was 49 years old at the time of the birth; several weeks later her 20-years-younger half-sister, Małgorzata, gave birth to her first son Wojciech Chodakowski. Barbara was taken to hospital after she was born, and was kidnapped by Aleksander Radosz (who was obsessed with Maria). Basia was saved by her maternal grandmother, and was later named after her. She has two half-brothers, twins Piotr and Paweł Zduński, was born eight years after the birth (and death) of her half-sister Maria Zduńska and is an aunt to Piotr's daughter Magdalena Zduńska. After living in Gródek with her parents, in November 2012 they moved to Trondheim and only her father returned to Warsaw. Basia came back to Poland with her father in February 2014 to visit her maternal grandparents in Grabina. As of March 2015 her parents are divorcing and she lives in Warsaw with her mother.

Marek Mostowiak (Kacper Kuszewski)[10] is the son of Lucjan and Barbara Mostowiak. After working in Germany, he returned home in 2000. Marek met Hanna Walisiak, and they began dating; he and his girlfriend, Katarzyna Wójcik, broke up. He married Hanna and they have one son, Mateusz, and two adopted girls, Natalia and Urszula. Marek and his friend, Stefan Miller, own a pub in Grabina. He had an affair with Grażyna (Michał Łagoda's wife) in 2010 and he and Hanna were separated, but they reconciled the following year. Marek and Hanna went to Toronto (living with Tadeusz Budzyński), but returned to Poland because his parents had problems with Natalia and Urszula. In 2011 he and his family moved to Warsaw, but Hanna died of an aneurysm on 7 November of that year. He turned down a marriage proposal from his sister-in-law, Anna Gruszczyńska, the following month. Marek began working with Mr. Kolęda in September 2012, and is dating his daughter Ewa (Marek's primary-school classmate) while spending nights with Anna. In April 2014 he broke up with Anna and proposed to Ewa, who accepted.

Hanna Mostowiak, née Walisiak (Małgorzata Kożuchowska),[11] was Marek Mostowiak's wife. Raised in an orphanage in Józefowo after her parents were killed in a car accident when she was three, she was adopted by Irena Gałązka but returned to the orphanage when Irena became pregnant. Working as a waitress in Grabina, she met Marek Mostowiak in 2000. Wanting to avenge the Mostowiaks for causing (she thought) the accident which killed her parents, Hanna told Maria that her father was Zenon Łagoda (triggering the premature birth of Maria's short-lived daughter). Hanna was suicidal when she learned the accident was caused by someone else, but Marek rescued her. She gave birth to a son, Mateusz, and adopted two girls, Natalia and Urszula. Studying to be a primary school teacher in Grabina, in 2010 she moved to Warsaw after her husband's affair with Grażyna Raczyńska but they reconciled the following year. After accompanying Marek to Toronto, they moved to Warsaw to care for their children. In November 2011 Hanna went to Suwałki to help her sister, and was involved in a car accident. Several hours later, Hanna collapsed and died in hospital of an aneurysm on 7 November (Kożuchowska left the show to pursue film offers).[12]

Ewa Mostowiak, née Kolęda, I voto Szefler (Dominika Kluźniak) is Marek Mostowiak's second wife. She is daughter of Jerzy Kolęda and was Marek's classmate in a primary school. They met again in 2012 when Mostowiak started to work with her father. Ewa rivalised with Marek's sister-in-law, Anna Gruszczyńska. She has one son, Antoni Szefler, from her first marriage to Krzysztof Szefler. Marek and Ewa started dating in 2013 and married in 2014. Krzysztof Szefler came to Warsaw in September 2016 to meet his son.

Mateusz Mostowiak

Mateusz Mostowiak (Krystian Domagała)[13] is the son of Marek and Hanna Mostowiak, who was born in 2002 in Grabina. Although he was kidnapped by Irena Gałązka (Hanna's former adoptive mother), his parents found him. His godparents are Małgorzata Chodakowska and Michał Łagoda. In 2011, he moved to Warsaw with his parents and adopted sisters and his mother died several months later. Mateusz's best friend is Antoni, the grandson of Mr. Kolęda.

Natalia (Natalka) Mostowiak (Marcjanna Lelek)[14] is an adopted daughter of Marek and Hanna Mostowiak who was raised in a Józefowo orphanage. She broke up with her boyfriend, Jarosław (a classmate) when he began dating her adopted sister Urszula. Natalia's adoptive mother, Hanna, died in November 2011. As of 2012 Natalia lived in Grabina, studying to be a policewoman at a secondary school in Urle, and changed schools the following year. In March 2014, she thought she was pregnant by her married secondary-school teacher. In January 2015 she learnt that she's pregnant by her boyfriend Dariusz Maj who left her and moved to Germany. On October 5, 2015 in a car in Grabina she gave birth to her daughter and named her Hanna after her adopted mother. Since 2016 she is dating Franciszek Zarzycki.

Urszula (Ula) Mostowiak, formerly Jakubczyk (Iga Krefft),[15] is an adopted daughter of Marek and Hanna Mostowiak who was raised in a Józefowo orphanage. Her alcoholic biological father lives in Grabina, and she cared for him with her aunt Anna Gruszczyńska in May 2011 when he was seriously ill. Although Urszula (Ula) began dating her adopted sister's boyfriend Jarosław, the relationship cooled and they are now friends. Her adoptive mother, Hanna, died in November 2011. In 2012 Ula began attending a secondary school in Urle with her sister, and she wants to be a policewoman. Several months later she met Wioleta, who belongs to a cult. Ula admires her new friend, stealing money from Mateusz to join the cult. Katarzyna Mularczyk learns about her activities from Ula's notebook, talks to Marek and they try to save her. Angry with them, Ula moves to Warsaw to live with her aunt Anna and receive psychotherapy. As of April 2013 she is dating Jacek, who works in Anna's restaurant.

Marta Wojciechowska-Budzyńska, formerly Milecka, Wojciechowska and Budzyńska, née Mostowiak (Dominika Ostałowska),[16] is the daughter of Lucjan Mostowiak and Barbara Mostowiak who was born in 1972 in Lipnica. She has three siblings (Maria Rogowska, Marek Mostowiak and Małgorzata Chodakowska), and is currently married to Andrzej Budzyński. Marta, mother of Łukasz Wojciechowski and Anna Wojciechowska and stepmother of Piotr Bielak, is a judge in Warsaw. In 1992 Marta had a romance with Norbert Wojciechowski, who left her when she was pregnant and went to the US. She gave birth to Łukasz, raising him alone. In 2001 Marta married Jacek Milecki, but they divorced when she learned about his infertility and his gambling problem. She had several brief relationships, and in 2006 Norbert returned to Poland; they resumed their relationship, and Marta became pregnant. She moved in with Norbert in Warsaw and gave birth the following year to their second child, Anna. Norbert died in a 2009 plane crash when he was returning from the US. After that, Marta had a romance with neighbour and physician Szymon Gajewski before meeting attorney Andrzej Budzyński. After she became engaged to Andrzej in 2010, the following year she learned that she could not have any more children; although she called off the wedding, they continued their relationship. On 11 May 2011 (31 December on the show) Szymon Gajewski left for the US, called Marta the love of his life and kissed her. That evening Andrzej again proposed (and she accepted), but after a one-night stand with his friend Agnieszka Olszewska she became pregnant and miscarried. After Marta's and Andrzej's wedding was postponed several times (once because of Hanna Mostowiak's death), they married in a Warsaw civil ceremony on 16 January 2012 in Warsaw and honeymooned in Paris. On 13 March, Marta learned that Andrzej was the father of Agnieszka's son and left him. In April, she met Wiktor Żak at a conference and they had a romance. Although Andrzej helped Marta through her daughter Anna's illness and surgery, in March 2013 she learned that he has a son (born in 2003) with his former lover Edyta Bielak.

Jacek Milecki

Jacek Milecki (Robert Gonera)[17] is Marta's first husband, from 2001 to 2002. They worked together, and married in Warsaw. Jacek did not tell Marta about his infertility, had several affairs, began gambling and left to start a job in Moscow. After the divorce Jacek had a romance with his chef, Iwona Majer. He has a sister, Magdalena, who was engaged to Norbert Wojciechowski and has three sons.

Norbert Wojciechowski (Mariusz Sabiniewicz)[18] was Marta's second husband, from 2007 to 2009, and had a half-brother (Henryk Wojciechowski). The father of Łukasz Wojciechowski and Anna Wojciechowska, he was a professor at the University of Warsaw. Norbert and Marta had a romance in 1992; when she became pregnant, he left her and went to the US. He returned in 2006 to meet his teenaged son, Łukasz, and fell in love with Marta again. She became pregnant, Norbert married her in 2007 and their daughter Anna was born several months later. Norbert was also engaged to a student (Klara) and Jacek Milecki's sister (Magdalena Milecka). He died in a 2009 plane crash, returning to Poland from the US.

He has a son (Piotr Bielak) with his former lover, Edyta, who was raised by her husband Janusz Bielak. Andrzej had a stillborn son with Agnieszka Olszewska in December 2011, and his stepchildren from his marriage to Marta are Łukasz Wojciechowski and Anna Wojciechowska. Andrzej and Marta met at work, and they bought a house in Grabina (her family village). Their wedding was postponed several times, due to his mother's illness and Hanna Mostowiak's death). Andrzej had a one-night stand with Agnieszka Olszewska, Tomasz Chodakowski's former fiancee, and she became pregnant; his son was stillborn. He owns a company with Adam Werner, who fell in love with Agnieszka. Andrzej married Marta in a civil ceremony on 16 January 2012. On 13 March he confirmed that he was the father of Agnieszka's son and they separated, reconciling in October after Anna's surgery. In March 2013 Andrzej learned that he has a son, Piotr, who was born in 2003 to Edyta Bielak.

Łukasz Wojciechowski

Łukasz Wojciechowski, formerly Mostowiak (Franciszek Przybylski and Adrian Żuchewicz),[20] is the son (born in 1993 in Warsaw) of Norbert Wojciechowski and Marta Wojciechowska and the stepson of Andrzej Budzyński. He has one sister, Anna Wojciechowska, and one stepbrother, Piotr Bielak, and his godfather is Krzysztof Zduński. Łukasz is a Warsaw secondary-school student. He was raised by Marta, who told him that his father died before he was born, and learned from a newspaper article that his father is well-known and wants Marta and Łukasz to move to the United States with him. Łukasz met Norbert, they went to the US and were involved in a serious car accident. When they returned to Poland, Marta admitted that she loved Norbert. She became pregnant with their second child, and they married in 2007. In May 2011, Łukasz saved Włodzimierz Kisiel's life after he had a heart attack. He broke up with his longtime girlfriend Gabriela Lassota in March 2012 because he was interested in their two classmates, Ewa Rosner and Zuzanna. Zuzanna is Łukasz' current girlfriend.

Anna Wojciechowska

Anna (Ania) Wojciechowska (Julia Paćko)[21] is the daughter of Norbert Wojciechowski and Marta Wojciechowska and the stepdaughter of Andrzej Budzyński, who was born in 2007 in Warsaw. Her godparents are her half-cousin Piotr Zduński and his wife, Kinga Zduńska. Anna has an older brother, Łukasz Wojciechowski, and a stepbrother, Piotr Bielak. Living in Warsaw, she was named after Łukasz's schoolteacher. Anna, the result of her mother's second romance with Norbert Wojciechowski, is the only biological granddaughter of Lucjan and Barbara Mostowiak. She accepts Andrzej as her father, and was grief-stricken when he and Marta separated. Diagnosed with a pituitary tumor in September 2012, Anna had surgery on 1 October.

Małgorzata (Gosia) Mostowiak, formerly Łagoda, Miller and Chodakowska, née Mostowiak (Joanna Koroniewska),[22] is the daughter of Lucjan Mostowiak and Barbara Mostowiak who was born in 1980. She has three siblings (Maria Rogowska, Marta Budzyńska and Marek Mostowiak), and was married to Tomasz Chodakowski. Gosia's children are Wojciech Chodakowski and Zofia Warakomska (her foster daughter), and she is a TV presenter in Warsaw. She is Lucjan's favourite child, and his nickname for her is "Myszka". Gosia fell in love with Maria Rogowska's half-brother, Michał Łagoda, and they married. They owned a business in Grabina before they divorced. She married Stefan Miller (her parents' neighbour and a family friend) in 2004, but that marriage also ended in divorce. Gosia married Tomasz in 2009 in hospital, hours before their son's birth. After that, she went to France for a rest before returning to Warsaw. Gosia owned a garden-design company; after serious financial problems she went to Italy to work, returning to Poland a few months later because her marriage was in jeopardy. Although she knew that Agnieszka Olszewska was pregnant by Andrzej Budzyński, she did not tell Marta. Gosia had past romances with Konrad Badecki, Zbigniew Napiórkowski and Marcin Sadowski, began a romance with former husband Michał Łagoda in May 2013 after he helped her with financial problems and went with him and her son to the United States. In 2014, she became pregnant and divorced Tomasz. On 9 June, Michał was killed and Małgorzata injured (giving birth to a stillborn daughter) in a car accident in Los Angeles.

Stefan Miller

Stefan Miller (Steffen Möller)[23] is Małgorzata's second husband, married to her from 2004 to 2005. He came to Grabina from Germany, buying a house near the Mostowiaks. A family friend, after Stefan married Małgorzata Mostowiak he discovered that she does not love him. He owned a club in Lipnica with Małgorzata's brother, Marek, selling the business a few years later. Stefan is married to Ela, who worked in the club as a waitress, and they moved to Germany. His mother, Simone, was also Barbara Mostowiak's friend.

Tomasz Chodakowski

Tomasz (Tomek) Chodakowski (Andrzej Młynarczyk)[24] is Małgorzata's third husband (married in 2009), Wojciech's father and a former policeman. After he saved her from being raped, they fell in love and married in a Warsaw hospital hours before their son's birth. In 2011 Tomasz met his former fiancee, Agnieszka, who is now his boss. Agnieszka, a widow, came to Warsaw from Szczecin and still loves Tomasz; she kissed him when Małgorzata was in Italy, but tried to hide her feelings. Tomasz also kissed Małgorzata's older sister, Marta, before the marriage and saved Marta's life after she was shot. Barbara's favourite son-in-law, in October 2011 he helped his pregnant friend, Agnieszka, move back to Szczecin. Tomasz has one brother, who lives in Bochum, Germany. He learned that Andrzej Budzyński is the father of Agnieszka's child on 5 December 2011, before she lost their son. In 2012 Tomasz' nephew, Marcin Chodakowski, came to Warsaw from Germany and his brother Grzegorz arrived the following year. In April 2013, when Tomasz went to Szczecin to visit Agnieszka, she attempted suicide. He saved her life, promising to never leave her alone. Małgorzata, angry at his secret trip to Szczecin, began a romance in May 2013 with former husband Michał Łagoda (who helped her cope with her financial problems). She tells Tomasz, who is unaware of the affair, that she is taking their son Wojciech (but not their daughter Zofia) to the United States to work for a few months. In April 2014, Małgorzata is pregnant with Michał's child and wants to divorce Tomasz and take Zofia to America with her ex-husband. Tomasz briefly dated his former fiancee, Agnieszka Olszewska, what resulted in her pregnancy. On February 16, 2016 she gave birth to the pair's only child, Helena Chodakowska. As of September 2016, Tomasz is engaged to Joanna Tarnowska.

Wojciech Chodakowski

Wojciech (Wojtuś) Chodakowski (Franciszek Korzeniewski)[25] is the son of Tomasz Chodakowski and Małgorzata Chodakowska, born in 2009 in Warsaw. He has a stepsister, Zofia Chodakowska and paternal half-sister, Helena Chodakowska. In May 2013 his mother planned to take him and her ex-husband to the United States while his sister remains in Warsaw with Tomasz.

Zofia Warakomska

Zofia (Zosia) Warakomska (Julia Wróblewska)[26] is the adopted daughter of Tomasz Chodakowski and Małgorzata Chodakowska (and the daughter of Halina Warakomska), who was raised in Szczecin. Her parents were Tomasz's friends; her father was killed in the line of duty, and her mother Halina was ill. Tomasz cared for her when he was Małgorzata's boyfriend. In 2010, when Zofia's mother died, the Chodakowskis adopted her. She has a stepbrother, Wojciech, attends primary school in Warsaw and was heartbroken when her adoptive mother decided to go to the United States without her in 2013.

Jane Buford

Jane Buford (created by Joanna Osyda) - granddaughter of Lucjan Mostowiak's sister, Hanna Mostowiak who was thought to be dead during World War II. Jane came to Grabina on April 2, 2013. She wants to get some money from Mostowiak family to earn money to cure her sick sister. She is second cousin to every grandchildren of Lucjan Mostowiak. She had a court case against Mostowiak family and won it. The court obligated Mostowiaks to pay her 300 000 Polish zloty. On May 20, 2013 she started working in a nightclub in Warsaw.
