Laura Lundy Wheale

Laura Lundy Wheale (born June 21, 1988), known professionally as Laura Lundy, is an American actress, producer and attorney. Born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in Cedartown, Georgia, Wheale was cast as a lead role in A Larger Life, alongside Fred Thompson. Wheale's first major motion picture role came in 2016 when she was cast as Patty Lynn in Ang Lee's Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. Shortly thereafter, she was cast as a reporter in Clint Eastwood's Sully, starring Tom Hanks.

Wheale graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in theatre. While in undergraduate, she played four years of full-scholarship Division 1 NCAA tennis. In 2010, the team experienced an undefeated season and won the Ohio Valley Conference championship. After undergraduate, Wheale attended the Cumberland School of Law. Additionally, she received training in acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
