Lake Howell High School is a comprehensive four-year high school located in Central Florida, USA. Home of the Silver Hawks, it is ranked as the 375th best high school in the United States, according to Newsweek[1]

The school is geographically located within Seminole County, near Winter Springs and Oviedo, despite its mailing address of Winter Park, Florida, which is in Orange County.

Band

The Lake Howell High School Marching Band is better known as the Silver Regiment. The marching band consists of the Color Guard, Percussion and Wind Ensembles, the Jazz Band and Symphonic Band. The Silver Regiment can be seen performing at Lake Howell High School football games, local parades and winter and fall concerts. The Silver Regiment also competes in competitions across the state of Florida.

The Silver Regiment has about 120 members.

Theater

Lake Howell Theater Company is chapter of the International Thespian Society and is a part of District Three Thespians, encompassing Flagler, Lake, Seminole and Volusia counties. The Lake Howell Theater Company and Thespian Troupe 4937 produce about 8 shows a year- typically a Fall drama and a Spring musical along with 6 student directed shows. Student members of Thespian Troupe 4937 annually attend the District 3 Thespian Festival and Florida State Thespian Festival, held every Winter and Spring, respectively. In the past Thespian Troupe 4937 has competed in both the district one act and state main stage competitions.
