The Kuwajima Formation is an Early Cretaceous geologic formation. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation,[1] including Albalophosaurus yamaguchiorum.[2]

The multituberculate mammals Hakusanobaatar matsuoi and Tedoribaatar reini are known from the Kuwajima Formation.[3] A member of Tritylodontidae, Montirictus kuwajimaensis, has also been recovered from the unit.[4]
