Kate Montgomery Barker (May 30, 1881 – February 13, 1972) was second counselor in the general presidency of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1935 to 1939.

Biography

Born Kate Montgomery in North Ogden, Utah Territory, she married James L. Barker in 1906. Prior to her call to the Relief Society general presidency, she had served for six years as a member of the Relief Society general board. She was the second counselor to president Louise Y. Robison.

After her service as a member of the Relief Society general presidency, Barker served with her husband when he was president of the Argentine Mission and then the French Mission of the church.
