The song "Remember" was featured in Season 4 Episode 19 "Pictures of You" in the TV series The Vampire Diaries, the TV series Pretty Little Liars Season 1 Episode 2 "The Jenna Thing", and in the movie Carnal Innocence, a screen adaptation of a Nora Roberts novel.

Kimmel sang the theme song and performed the music video for the movie Ella Enchanted, seen on Radio Disney and the Ella Enchanted DVD. Her music video Low was used as the promo for the TV show Private Practice, and her music video Trouble has been featured on the Oxygen channel and NBC Los Angeles.

In 2011, Kimmel recorded the title track to the remake of the movie Footloose, with country artist Blake Shelton.
