John Fox, is an adventurer, writer, speaker and conservationist. He is best known for hiking and promoting the New England Traverse, a backcountry hiking route going from New York City to Canada and for becoming the second person to swim non-stop and unassisted across Lake Lanier. Both achievements were done in partnership with various non-profit organizations to raise funds and awareness for the environment and children's health.
