Igors Kazanovs

Igors Kazanovs (Russian: Игорь Яковлевич Казанов; born September 24, 1963 in Daugavpils) is a retired athlete who represented the USSR and later Latvia. He was a soldier in the Soviet army, but is best remembered for his achievements as a hurdler. His personal time was 13.26s, achieved at the 1993 World Championships where he finished 6th. In Rome six years earlier he finished five to record his best World Championships performance. He won four European Indoor gold medals over 60 metres hurdles.

He has a wife and two daughters.[1]
