Hong Wen School

Hong Wen School (宏文学校; also abbreviated as HWS) is a government-aided, Special Assistance Plan (SAP) primary school that offers full bilingual primary education in Singapore. The school was founded in 1920 by the Hin Ann Huay Kwan. Its current campus is located at 30 Towner Road, in Kallang, and its incumbent principal is Poon Siow Leng.

Hong Wen School is well known for its great emphasis on Chinese culture and values, and the current campus' facade features traditional Chinese architecture style. The school's motto is "honesty, perseverance, diligence and thrift" (诚毅勤俭). Notable co-curricular activities (CCAs) include Chinese Orchestra, Rope Skipping and Wushu. The old campus at 2 Dickson Road is designated as a "heritage school" by the Urban Redevelopment Authority, alongside some other schools with rich history. In 2015, Hong Wen School celebrated its 95th anniversary.
