High Functioning Flesh

High-Functioning Flesh is an American band based in Los Angeles, California that formed in 2013.[1]

They have appeared on many national tours including the Cold Waves Festival[2] and have opened for Front 242[3] and Youth Code.

Their debut album entitled A Unity of Miseries - A Misery of Unities was released in 2014 on DKA Records. The band released their second album in 2015 entitled, Definite Structures, on Dais Records.[4] Definite Structures was named the #2 album of the year in amodelofcontrol.com annual review of music and #1 album of the year by I Die You Die Review.[5][6]

Vice magazine has described them as "High-Functioning Flesh, or HFF, record music that may be generally referred to as either synth-punk, EBM or industrial, referencing the spectrum of music that extends from Throbbing Gristle through Skinny Puppy."[7]
