HaMasger Street

HaMasger Street (Hebrew: רחוב המסגר) is a street in Tel Aviv, Israel. Its name is a reference to the profession of the locksmith, alluding to the thoroughfare's handyman and other blue collar businesses.

It borders Montefiore on the western side, and parallels the Ayalon Freeway.

Before the establishment of Tel Aviv, it was a dirt road. In the mid-19th century the area was known as "Mount Hope". The road led through the fields north towards "Montefiore orchard" and Sarona Templer colony.

The area features nightclubs and restaurants. Car showrooms, vehicle importer offices, car rental companies, parts importers are there.

In the late 1970s the street began to change as workshops and garages gradually gave way to office buildings.
