Freddi Fish 5: The Case of the Creature of Coral Cove is a 2001 video game and the fifth adventure games in the Freddi Fish series of games developed and published by Humongous Entertainment.

Plot

In this game, there is an angry mob outside Coral Cove Park, which was to be opened by Marty Sardini. The park is closed due to the presence of a sea monster. Freddi and Luther investigate and learn the sea monster named Xamfear Duncan Dogberry Valentine was evicted from the park land which is rightfully his, so Freddi and Luther go to Marty's place to find Xamfear's stolen deed.

Gameplay

The game uses the same principles as its prequels, but the puzzles and sequences are straightforward as there are no multiple endings and choices like the previous two games.

Freddi Fish 5: The Case of the Creature of Coral Cove was generally well-received, getting scores of 7.5 out of 10 from IGN based on 1 review,[2] a 4-star rating from Allgame,[3] 5 Stars from macHOME,[4] 4.5 stars from Review Corner,[5] 3.5 stars from Adventure Gamers based on 1 review,[6] 90% from Greenman Gaming[7] and 5 Stars from Metzomagic.[8] Review Corner also gave this game the Award of Excellence.[5]
