Folorunso Busayo Philips, better known as Fliptyce, is a Nigerian record producer, singer and songwriter.[1] He is affiliated with Square Records (a record label co-founded by identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye popularly known as P-Square), and he is known for producing an international hit single released in 2012 "Chop My Money".[2][3]

Early life and career

Early life

He was raised in Ondo State, Nigeria. Fliptyce's started at a very young age; he was part of the choir throughout his primary school and college days. He started music production in early 2000 when he stumbled into a music production software included in a game purchased by his brother Then he taught himself how to use the software and he also produced a few tracks for himself.

On 22 April 2015, Fliptyce opened up on how he used his school fee to buy musical instrument.[4]

Career

He produced P-Square's "Chop My Money", a song from the artist's debut studio album The Invasion (2011), he also produced Yemi Alade's "King (Koq) [Interlude]", "Kissing", "Daddy Oyoyo" and "Kissing (Remix)" (featuring Diamond Platnumz) from the artist's debut studio album King of Queens (2014), he also produced Danny Young "Oju Ti Won" from the artist's debut studio album Cross Over (2010),[5] Davido, Ice Prince , Vector (rapper), Iyanya, Bracket, May-D, among others.

He currently has a record deal with an international record label True Shine Entertainment founder by OP1.[6]
