Evansport, Ohio

Evansport is an unincorporated community in northern Tiffin Township, Defiance County, Ohio, United States. Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 43519.[1] It is located approximately one mile (1.6 km) south of U.S. Route 6.

History

Evansport was platted in 1835 by Albert G. and Amos Evans, and named for them.[2] A post office has been in operation at Evansport since 1837.[3]
