Ambassador Archil Gegeshidze

The Embassy of Georgia in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Georgia to the United States. It is located at 1824 R Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C.[1]

In March 2013, Archil Gegeshidze was appointed ambassador.[2] He replaced Temur Yakobashvili who held the post since November 2010. Yakobashvili's predecessor was Batu Kutelia who was named to the post in December 2008.[3]
