EZ-Street was an American rock band formed in the late-1970s and broke up in 1982.
History
The band formed in Hayward, California in the late-1970s. The band included future Metallica bassist Cliff Burton, future Faith No More guitarist "Big" Jim Martin[1] and future Faith No More/Ozzy Osbourne drummer Mike "Puffy" Bordin,[2] all of whom were still in high school. Additional members included singer Kevin Costa and guitarist Danny Magalhaes. EZ-Street was Jim Martin's band, and Cliff wasn't very into it. From what he said, they were sort of a bar band, doing basically 1970s rock covers. Bottom line was that he wasn't very interested in doing that kind of music.[3] The band finished fourth in the 1979 Hayward Area "Battle of the Bands" where their three-song set included a rousing cover of "Rebel Rebel." The band often changed drummers.
Martin and Burton would continue to perform together after EZ-Street disbanded under the name "Agents of Misfortune."
