Cinédia (originally called the Cinearte studios) is a Brazilian film studio established in 1930 in Rio de Janeiro, remained in continuous operation until 1951.[1]

History

The Cinédia, was one of the most important studios of the Brazilian film industry. Inaugurated in 1930 in Rio de Janeiro, Cinédia was created by Adhemar Gonzaga, which produced popular dramas and popular chanchadas. With musical comedies like Hello, Hello Brazil!, Hello, Hello, Carnival! and Onde estás, felicidade?, and cast actors like Oscarito, Grande Otelo and Dercy Gonçalves.[2]
