Carol Bruneau

Carol Bruneau (born 1956) is a Canadian writer. She lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she is currently a part-time faculty member of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, where she teaches writing in the foundation program. She has a Master's degree from Dalhousie University.

Her book Purple for Sky (2000) won the Thomas Head Raddall Award and the fiction category of the Dartmouth Book Awards in 2001. The novel was also shortlisted in the same year for the Pearson Readers' Choice Award.
