Vyas, popularly known as Damauli, is a municipality and headquarters of Tanahun District in the Gandaki Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 42,899 people living in 11,321 households.[1] It is regarded as one of the most well planned municipality of the country as the central town is divided by roads into blocks slightly resembling those of New York .

To Promote local culture Vyas has four FM radio station. That are Radio Bhanubhakta - 104.2 MHz , Damauli F.M - 94.2 MHz, Smart F.M - 89.4 MHz and Madi Seti FM 105.8 MHz Which fall under Community radio Station.
