Brandon Parva Treehouse

Perhaps the most significant and noted feature about Brandon Parva is the "Brandon Parva Tree House"[1] that was somewhat of a landmark in home eco building and has appeared on BBC, ITV, in papers and on the radio, due to a planning controversy with the local council in 2007, and was demolished in 2009.[2] The final appeal by the builders of the Treehouse received support from many local people, a large petition as well as three international charity groups because of the ethos of the project and the apparent David and Goliath story that had arisen in the local media.[3]
