Robert David Damewood (7 June 1940-28 June 2009) was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Damewood was the fourth head football coach for the Azusa Pacific Cougars located in Azusa, California and he held that position for 2 seasons, for 1970 and 1971. His coaching record at Azusa Pacific was 7 wins, 10 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #6 at Azusa Pacific in total wins and #6 at the school in winning percentage (.412).[1]

He died on June 28, 2009 of a stroke.[2][3]
