Beaver Harbour is an unincorporated fishing village in the Parish of Pennfield, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada.

It is located east of Blacks Harbour and south of Pennfield.

History

Beaver Harbour was settled in September 1783, by the "Quaker Company" the (spokesmen) agents for which were Joshua Knight, Samuel Fairlamb and John Rankin. The "Quaker Company" was composed almost entirely of members and former members of the Society of Friends from Pennsylvania and New Jersey [1] who being Loyalists left the City of New York upon its evacuation by the British Army at the end of the American Revolution. In 1790 this settlement Bellevu or Bellveue was largely destroyed by a forest fire and most of the members of the "Quaker Company" dispersed.
