Babar Ali is a Pakistani film and television actor.[2] He was born on June 30, 1975 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.[1]

Career

Babar Ali began his career on small screen. He played character of the young Muslim Arab soldier "Mohammad Bin Qasim" in PTV historical costume drama "Labbaik". Both Labbaik and Babar Ali became huge hits of that time. he followed it up with another historical drama "Babar" where he played Humayon, son of the mughal emperor Babar.

Babar's immediate success opened the doors of films to him. First of those was 'Jeeva', directed by Syed Noor. He went on to appear in other films such as: Munda Bigra Jaye, Chor Machaye Shor, Khoey Ho Tum Kahan, Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa and Larki Punjaban. He starred as 'Bali' the lead character in the 2002 PTV Drama Serial Landa Bazar (TV series).
