Alderney general election, 2016

General elections will be held in Alderney in November 2016 in accordance with the rules governing elections in Alderney. Five of the ten seats in the States were up for election.

The election took place on 26 November 2016 and prospective candidates, that comply with the eligibility criteria, were formally nominated before 15 November.[1]

Five candidates were elected

940 people voted, representing a 69% turnout [2]
