Ahmet Yılmaz Çalık (born 26 February 1994) is a Turkish professional footballer. He currently plays as a defender for Gençlerbirliği in the Süper Lig.[1]

Career

Club career

Çalık began his career at Gençlerbirliği.

International career

Çalık represented Turkey at the 2013 UEFA U-19 Championship and 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

On 6 November 2015, Çalık was selected for the Turkey national football team to play friendlies against Qatar and Greece respectively.[2] He made his debut in a 0-0 tie with Greece.[3] He is part of the Turkish national team for Euro 2016.[4]

Style of play

Çalık is a central defender and man-marker, he is athletic and relied mostly on his pace and timing.
