The 1992 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was played from May to September 1992. Clare shocked many people with their surprising but deserving triumph in Munster; then they succumbed to Dublin in the semi-final. However, a lethargic Dublin side fell to Donegal in the final. It was Donegal's first All-Ireland senior title, and they won by a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-14.
