The 1990-91 NBA season was the Bullets' 30th season in the NBA.^[1] Bernard King provided a great story as he came all the way back from knee surgery he suffered while playing for the New York Knicks in 1985 to finish third in the league in scoring with 28.4 points per game. However, with a nine game losing streak in February, the Bullets struggles continued as they finished fourth in the Atlantic Division with a 30–52 record. Harvey Grant increased his scoring averaging 18.2 points per game, and finished second in Most Improved Player voting behind Scott Skiles of the Orlando Magic.
