Some notes on publishing: since the only software I am using to render the site draws directly from the markdown files I write, there are no automatic timestamps applied to the content I publish. Instead, I mark the “authored” date and time by the last edit I made to the file before initially publishing (GMT or BST unless otherwise stated), and backups are hosted in an off-site Git repository. Any pages I update recurrently, aside from the front page (news), I will generally leave without a timestamp. I also try to archive any hyperlinks I include in my articles where possible, generally through the Wayback Machine and archive.today.
