GHS (strings)

GHS Strings is a Battle Creek, Michigan string manufacturer, specializing in electric and acoustic guitar and bass guitar strings. The company was founded on August 1, 1964,[1] and in 1975 was bought by Robert McFee, who is the Chairman of the Board with son, Russell McFee,[2] as President. The name GHS comes from the surnames of the company's founders — Gould, Holcomb and Solko.[3]
