Due to certain discussions on the Discord server, I felt prompted to try my hand at some breezy outfits for our favorite medical doctor, Shennong! I would have liked to take this further (more outfits, highlighting, alternate poses, a drawn background), but I've spent enough time on it that I simply have to move on. Hopefully I can revisit this and explore these design concepts more!

Originally this was going to be a much more intimate sort of scenario, but I ended up liking the bright light source so much that I changed it to a sort of beach/summer aesthetic. I need to call it here, but I might revisit this later if I have time! For now, have a particularly sweaty Cherno!

I love Gyumao and how calm and collected he is, but I also know that he has a fierce temper and wanted to see how he'd look if something drove him to a specific point!

Here's a fun little project! I'm not familiar with the Idolmaster series, but I recently learned that Shennong's VA also plays the role of Seiji Shingen, a Side M Idolmaster performer who:

-also has the exact same voice,
-also has purple eyes and brown hair, and
-also has an army/military background.

Needless to say, the stars aligned. Have one or two potential stage costumes for Shennong (with original illustration by Noku), themed off of the Housamo logo and the Shinjuku Academy uniform! As patrons, you get early access to the colored file!

Hey all!

I'd rather you know sooner than later: My computer is severely acting up, and has started to intermittently crash/restart, to the point where it's become unreliable for me to work on. We're looking into the issue, but the computer itself is very old, so it's probably just time for me to order a new desktop entirely.

While I can't guarantee I'll be able to work for extended periods of time, I'll attempt to continue making uploads to the best of my ability. Until then, stay safe and healthy, and I'll hopefully get back to more frequent uploads as soon as I can!

Hey all! I'm making some small adjustments to the Platinum tier.

I recently had a family event in the hospital, and with that under my belt + thinking about my current living situation, I've realized that I don't have a lot of time to continue the level of work I've been providing up to this point.

So, starting in April, I'm planning on simplifying end-of-month artwork. The artwork will be changed to something much closer to the Doodle Pack drawings (lineart and simple color background). Don't worry: there will still be two characters, and still two versions of the artwork! On top of that, all other tier rewards will still be intact!

With all that said, the Platinum tier will have its pledge amount lowered to $13. Please adjust your pledge amounts accordingly!

Hopefully this change will give me more leeway in the coming months, and I hope you can understand my position on the matter. Thank you so much for reading!

I'm going to try to upload more submissions this month. In order to do so, however, I'm probably going to shy away from full-rendered pieces like pink DK as that takes too much time, so I'm generally just stick to lineart and flats.

As an aside, how do Platinum members feel about the private streams? I'd like to offer them as a reward but it feels like they aren't made use of all that often when I do offer them per week. I'm open to suggestions!

I didn't have much time to draw today, so here's a (relatively) quick bust of Yangli!

This isn't nearly as big of a change as earlier this month, but I'm letting you know that I'm changing the prices for each pledge amount just a bit. While I'm loving the current setup of pledges, I'm also realizing that the amount of work I'm producing isn't congruent with what I'm charging.

To put it bluntly, the current prices are a steal. And while I don't mind offering a lot of content on my Patreon --uploading artwork almost daily-- at the very least I want it priced so that it's fair to me as a content creator. I love creating work for you guys, and I also want to create work at a price that is much more accurate for what I'm providing.

So! Here's the meat of this post:

Bronze pledges are upped from $3 to $5.

Silver pledges are upped from $5 to $7.

Gold pledges are upped from $7 to $10.

Lastly, Platinum pledges are upped from $10 to $15.

I know this is a pretty sudden change (especially right after the major overhaul I made earlier), so I really appreciate you taking the time to read this. Please adjust your pledge to the appropriate amount!

I've been thinking about making some alterations to this Patreon. I love making art for you all, but I also have a strong desire to work on more personal projects.

So, I've decided to streamline my rewards and change things up.

Reward tiers are now divided into four options: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Bronze and Silver are for those who want SFW work, while Gold and Platinum will be for those who want NSFW work. There are additional incentives for pledging to higher tiers, but I'll get to those in a bit!

Doodle packs remain unchanged. The new doodle pack poll will still allow you to personally suggest characters each month, of which I'll choose a selection to use!

Streams remain unchanged. Same deal as before: I post a key, and patrons of sufficient tiers will have access to the key and said streams.

As you may have noticed, there are no tiers which include commissions. Unfortunately, commissions --while a good extra source of income-- are burning me out, so for now I'm going to discontinue them as part of my reward tiers. To compensate, the two previous rewards which offered them --Massmonster and Beefgod-- are no longer available.

Now, here's the biggest change: monthly art.

While I don't mind developing my painting skills, I find it eats up way too much of my time each month --limited time I'd rather be spending on smaller and more personal projects. In order to free up time and reduce my workload, I'm going to ease up on the rendering, perhaps limiting the coloring of said pieces to cel-shading or touched-up flats instead of full-fledged painting. As a further attempt to streamline rewards, greyscale versions of each artwork will no longer be offered. The goal here is to find a balance between Patreon and personal artwork each month, and hopefully this helps me find that!

As an additional change, the characters chosen for monthly art will now be decided...from the doodle pack poll! This way, patrons have even more control over what characters they'd personally like to see, rather than choosing characters that I happen to select.

Lastly, the final change to monthly art: each piece will have TWO characters instead of one! Patrons will have a much better chance of seeing their favorite character included!

Okay, that's the gist of it! Changes are effective immediately, so please read over the new tiers and pledge accordingly! Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll try to explain things to the best of my ability!
