The spooky season is here! and with it, all those Halloween themed pictures with costumes and funny candies everywhere. So for every October sponsor I'll be drawing his character in any costume, SFW or NSFW, that they'd like!

This month was very fun and special to me, since I had the chance to experiment with a box and all those nice and beautiful bodies of the sponsors!

My work is strongly based on body shapes and anatomy, with a huge amount of invention and design that I like to use to increase the appeal of a furry character. Thus, in this month I had the chance to play with different body types, and also difficult poses inside a small box.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE SO MUCH!!! haha and yeah has a bit to do with me being there showing the backside ^^; BUT mostly due to the implied idea of the piece!

Omna, the rat King belongs to Lemonynade, who gave total freedom to make this piece, and was afraid of the focus being lost on his character, but I guess the composition and lighting really works well on both telling the story and also keeping the eye on the rat :D

Aaah this guy here; Marstan, has some fun ideas for pics, so we did this sequenced commission featuring himself and Bovril, the drake.

Did several roughs for him, was hard to find an interesting pose at the sofa, without compromising both poses :p

This picture is part of a series I want to begin making (the first one being myself on my birthday showing paws) Focusing specifically on beans, soft colors and surfaces, and some nice shadows to create a special look.

A cool picture for Connor the shark!!

He wanted a very different pic from what I usually draw (those happy colorful places) and instead went for a sinister looking spaceship, with red glow everywhere and stuff.

I think it turned out quite well!

For this one the roughs were aimed for a strong and mysterious composition.

Aaaaahh when archie reacehd out to me with this idea, I was so glad and excited to begin working on it!

He wanted to make a nice picture for me hitting 12k followers on twitter, and what a better way than this one :D

Aaand also Archie is one of my most regular commissioners!

This characters here are actually the same character, well they belong to the same person; and are the same personification as far as I know, of the same person :P so it makes it not a relation but a --- tion haha !

This white Lion here is the wonderful Revy! Who asked me to portray his gorgeous character out in the wild!

This commission was done for Nero ! Who told me he would do an animated version, so expect that one soon!

This one was made for Lighty and Cino! For whom I did this rough sketches, and they liked them so much that just went for two of them! making the story more interesting and the action of what happened next, more clear XD

Very happy and thankful for this one!

This is a LOVELY picture I had the chance to work for JoleJojo! Who wanted to have a very tender scene with some autumn leaves.

Very happy to work with these color palette, which actually taught me to keep the colors simpler, and they end up being way more powerfull and interesting! A lesson I'll try to keep using from now on :D

A very neat commission for Creedz, who wanted his Husky as a motorcycle guy!

Always love to have the chance to draw those suits ^^

And did several poses for him; glad he was the one choosing, since to me is very difficult to decide for just one. Maybe I could use one of these for myself one day ?

I handled this color with the same Pastel technique I used for last month's rewards. It really makes color blend together in a unique way, thus letting you achieve an interesting photographic effect without getting to "realistic"

Well last month was a fun one, full of saturated color and dark tones.

For this month of September I want to handle some more academic studies, focused on the anatomy of the characters, their body shapes, curves and surfaces.

In this case I wont be using any colors! Instead I'll play with the values of the image, in black and white, to accentuate the interesting landmarks each one of you Sponsors have!

For this month I'm aiming for single character images, but could make couples if requested!

Thanks every one of you that let this experimentation happen! It is extremely helpful to have the chance to both study while making some fun drawings for you, and in the end, you become part of the foundations of my art!

The camp is here! And the rewards for August arrive with a very dark setting but a very fun and lewd atmosphere ;)

These batch was quite a challenge to make, since I usually work from light to dark, but this month I had the chance to try the reverse.

This kind of technique and idea is widely used with Pastels, that's why I wanted to keep the rough textures of my "digital pastels", which not also give character to the pictures but let the colors blend together in a unique way (due to the small gaps in the brushstroke itself)

Anyways, quite a big batch this one, again thanks to everyone of you that makes this practice and experimentation possible!!

Wanted to play a little bit with interiorism and fun house designs that aim at having nature and simplicity working together :O

Was fun to put such a green background!

Love this picture and how it was made! haha, I spent a little bit more than usualy, mostly due to me taking special care to the levels and color composition of this one.

I tried to keep the picture colorful, but also made the focus on the bun's face and not his big paws.

Oh my god look at this cute shep! this guy here is Bishop, who wanted me to create a beautiful picture for him to print and hang on his wall.

I remember I had a hard time at the beginning of this picture, since I was not sure how to show the character in an octopus kigu.

Awww this is a very gentle and comfy picture, with some winter themes, done for MiniReddish

Kyash wanted a very bulky armor, inspired in some Halo's Master Chief and another character from a videogame I can't remember XD

The idea here is he has some sort of device to stimulate his member, but it somehow malfunctions at the worse moment.

Oh this picture also came thanks to Kazzy Poof! who went for the entire set of actions depicted on my rough sketches

A Lovely picture done for Tiberius !! And man, I had such a great time working with the background!, all the details, the colors, etc. Just a great project to work on ^^

Commission for JKU on fA! A quite close to vore picture haha, but not quite there yet .

Wanted to put the characters in a fun little tight room to let the viewer feel cozy, almost as cozy as a mouth?

This sketch round included some color palettes, mostly due to the fact that JKU, an alien with super bright colors, was super difficult to put in any environment XD

It's August and that means it's time to start the next round of Patreon Rewards! I'm very excited about this month as it allows me to do something a little different, so I hope you'll be excited too!

This Month's theme is "Summer Slasher!".

Spooky movies are not just for Halloween anymore! Every year there's always a slew of spooky movies at the end of the summer and this summer with be YOUR spooky movie! So, Patreons, come volunteer to be a councilor at Camp Floozy for the summer. Enjoy late night skinny-dipping, campfire stories, hushed romps in cabin bunk beds, but be wary... in the woods is the sinister Ose Vorheese, the Cat Claw Killer. He's got a bone to pick, and the next bone he's after... is yours!

This will be a fun series of images, some singles, some pairings, all done in a unique dark painting style that I'm excited to try out. Your character will be doing something inappropriate and/or sexy at summer camp and in the shadows will be a familiar masked fiend, ready to pounce on his prey. Don't worry, these won't be gore-y or mean-spirited! Each image will be light-hearted and done as a "just before the strike". I'm very excited to get started and draw my victi-... er, Patreon Family!

As for the style, I will be using this dark look, with some rough pastel brushes that accentuate so much colors and shapes, while also keep roughness and abstraction to a certain level.

They are here! The Orange Cat Pool Party is in! and look at all those cute guys and girls that came!! Such a pleasure to have you all here spending such a sunny day ;)

This sponsor month's idea came from a great suggestion from DuckinGoodTime, who found a great way to put all the rewards in a single topic and even made the map for the pool setting!

This month's experiment was focused on that watercolor like style, that I personally love and enjoy doing! Lets the brushwork shine by itself, while pushing the colors to a very saturated side.

Ose just invited everyone over for a BBQ and a swim! !

[EDIT] - This WONT be a single HUGE picture with all in one image, but several individual pictures revolving in one topic ; the pool party.

The idea for this month is to have all of you in a pool party themed pic (Thanks to DuckingGoodTime for the fun suggestion) . Each picture will be in a different angle from the diagram above, and can have any kind of swimsuit, nude, other clothes or accessories.

The slots will be assigned by myself in this case, to find the best setting for each individual that accommodates their needs ;)

I'll send a message to all of you right away, to ask for both the ref for the character you want in, and the kind of attire you want to be featured with.

The coloring style for this month will be like the poster above: lineart and flat-ish colors inside, here are other examples:

Ah this pic was a bit difficult to make! its based on the pendulum position, once seen on that nice poster of "Citra Love"

Commission made for AJ Bun!

Here are some of the roughs I used to finish building the pose from such an angle XD

This guy here is Beryl Foxturtle!!! Who wanted his guy at some water slides.

Loved the idea as soon as he wrote about it! I knew since the beginning it was going to be a very colorful picture, and it did was! Which also was an issue at the beginning, since all the picture vibrates too much, but well , that's what happens when you go out in the sun and all the colors are shiny and fun!

Haha, this guy here is Twitch! a commission done for Larry Tiger, who requested some paw themed pic, and the only way to show both balls and paws at the same time is, well, that way .

Did a lot of sketches for this one, usually its hard to find a way to give commissioners paws, and butt, and balls, and dick and face and nose and all at the same time XD

And here is a very quick color study I did earlier for this one

A very nostalgic picture this time, now for Dustin Doggo and PunkWolf, who wanted some action in the arcade court.

And they even gave me a very specific reference for the pinball machine XD Which wasn't copied exactly as is, for copyright purposes, haha, but yeah, its similar :P

with random notes about how I usually struggle with the way shapes overlap in space:

When working digitally is very easy to just go FLAT and do everything flat , as if seen through a long lens (300mm) , but you can give a lot of dynamism to the piece by putting some exageration onto it, as if I was using a wide angle lens (14mm i.e) That way shapes look more different and play better along the space of the picture.

Still have to work with that idea, and push it further, but yeah that is XD

Loved working for Teej! this pic was also made with a slightly different brush work, which really helps to get some interesting body shapes :P

Thanks too all of you that support my art! This month belongs to underwear and color studies :D So I blended together the sensual possibilities of underwear, with the fun power of color sketching.

I did all of these without using any lines or previous sketches (Except Fido's Husky, that was a request with lines XD ) and let the color strokes lead the entire picture, the body and its pose.

I hope that all of you enjoy each picture, that was not just very fun to create, but also very inspiring and a great chance to practice painting concepts.

This handsome robotic tiger ref sheet was done for CyborgBeast! who saw the work I did on RoboCAT.1 for Kigufox, and wanted some art for himself ^^

Was such a big project to handle, with many tiny details and views, but turned out great in the end.

And those are the poses done for him, and the linework that I also enjoy very very much :D

Guys I really enjoyed working with this commission due to:

I had the chance to work with a very simple yet powerful composition: everything centered.

Played with coloring a bit. If you look closely, I tried to use more gray colors than usual, making the entire color palette more neutral and natural looking, yet colorful! XD I know its hard to tell, but in the end the effect works; gray-ish colors give a lot of volume to shapes ^^

Here are some wips:

That rough had some simple notes to remind me of the light setup I wanted: with the guy being somehow in the shade, but not so much :P

Then I went to color and did this:

Which is too greenish and shady looking; Sheltie wanted a much more lighted up scene, with more blue and a different haircut.

So I moved stuff here and there, got some sky in and the pic got finished!

A quick sketch during "lunch break"

This month's Sponsor tier will still revolve around exploring color, but through a much more "solid" approach to painting. As you may notice in these tests, I'm trying to make solid shapes and bolder brush strokes.

Aaaand as an extra, I suggest to play with the underwear theme for this month's set. :D

I want to keep using this Sponsor tier to push what I can create without the limits of " a beautiful picture" and instead explore what can be done with both the characters and the colors.

Consider this one as the first try, the second one I am planning to work with a different concept, like light and contrast within the form, so maybe we will have some monochromatic pics, so wait for the example pic!

These kind of pics, involving drinks and friends, are also of my favs. I don't have enough chance to work with them, but its always a treat :D

In this case the rough sketches weren't that different, I just wanted to find the best angle to show all the action, which at times is just a huge deal XD

Yeah, had an issue with it since people wanted couples, not just to sleep with strangers, so the slot had to be changed to include both characters.

Well, this YCH was won by Triplicat!!

A very white picture today! For Yoko. who gave me the chance to play with a very nice scenario full of white mountains and cold weather ^^

I had several pretty poses for this one, really was difficult to chose one, but he decided to go for the last one

Had a great time working with this pic for Sheep and BearKing!! , one of the few straight scenes I've drawn :P but very enjoyable. Also notice the bunch of confused fellows on the back!!

This is one of the simple color commissions Im offering now! Its a new kind of pic, more focused on the character and not so much on a full scene. Pretty fun to work with this ones :D

I really enjoyed working with this topic which is indeed a super great chance to mix my love for motorcycles, leather suits and the furry stuff. And also had the chance to draw him a helmet! ^^

This was a very straight forward pic, here are the lines of it

This is Christoffer's reward I'm using as an example! haha, hope he is Ok with that.

This time I want to experiment with colors a bit, brushes and a very natural way to paint, so the May's tiers will be a bit more "colored" but subject to "incompleteness" or rather say, artistic happenings.

In this particular picture he gave me the chance to use one of my characters and a lot of artistic freedom to create, and this is the result.

I'll be doing so with each of the rewards, and you can also tell me if you want a bit of something in, like a focus on paws, butt, a jacket, or anything.

Just realized I never shared this finished YCH here!

I think I've drawn like 3 fennecs in total. Always nice to work with them. Their references always have one pose with a mad face XD Guess the species gets angry easily?

Anyways, Pin Ups are of my favs, they are very effective to show characters, and to play with their poses ^^

Working with this kind of environments is a pleasure, mostly because you can imagine yourself in them, and think how it would be to wander around, and discover the place.

This shark here, let me tell you, is the responsible of me doing YCHs! He is the one that got into my first YCH a while ago, grabbing the slot for quite a nice amount :D

Lovely pic I did for him, there I learnt bunnies do not have paw pads. Yet many of you guys ask them with paw pads, which is good ^^

I love his character so much! I remember he saw the past pic I uploaded (ADAM) and wanted a similar picture.

In this two pics I was beginning to explore the coloring through hard edged brushes, without softening strokes too much. Gives a lot of structure, but consumes a lot of time!

This is the first batch I do for all of you guys that sponsor my furry artwork, my studies and all the crazy experiments that I do to create artwork. Thanks to you I can work on improving my pictures and push them even further!

As the reward states, I'm making this simple colored pictures of your characters each month that you are part of the Sponsor Tier! :D

I want to keep using this Sponsor tier opportunity of making pictures to experiment a bit with the characters and the coloring style, as well as linework, etc. So expect some variations from month to month, or even within each months batch.

What I'm trying to find is a way to make interesting pictures with simple elements. I have some ideas, but need to polish them a bit. Who knows, maybe we can find some great new style in this pictures!

In this second part I talk about the color decisions I make, as well as the first layer to begin painting: the flats.
I mostly use the lasso tool to quickly lay out the main colors, as well as the shadows, and play with different tones to create shades.

So yeah, this is one of my most loved pictures, not just because of the theme, but also for the great passion I was able to put into each character, and the play the have with each other. I also had the chance to paint in that other Koi Fish painting, for everyone in the room to enjoy.

I remember I used to enjoy this kind of vids, specially when I was learning digital painting. they were both inspiring and helpful, since you can easily grasp an entire process in a few minutes and get some ideas on how the artist goes from the beginning and pushes the picture to the end.

It may be helpful and entertaining to you too!

In this part I finally get to the fun part! The coloring of the figure. This time I am using a very simple round brush to create the volume of the cat's body, by alternating from lights to shadows.

You will notice how I like to put rough blobs of color, and then work from that by in-bet weening colors to make soft transitions.

Part 5 will handle finishing touches and details!!

In this part we get to work with the background, adding some color to it, and details.

Check how I use simple brush strokes to get clouds, sand and ocean in an easy way, while adding light to the scene!

This cute robotic feline was designed in conjunction with KiguFox, who wanted a hardened companion!

Went through several phases of design, where I wanted some tiny antlers instead of pointy ears, huge hips and then we added some special stuffs like a jetPack and plug tail.

The idea is of a robot that has been built by KiguFox himself, with spare parts from the shop, thus why the Robocat looks with rusted parts and some incomplete pieces.

It seems not many people know, or is sure how my cat looks like. So I did this quick ref sheet, that shows his main features:

bigger than usual paws, orange and brown fur, rounded shapes and not so slim not so fat looks XD

I did this picture for AyCee's artbook , a while ago.

Some guys just give that extra mile when doing their job, and this fox is no exception !

These paws belong to Maiao , who wanted a very laid-back picture with his cute character, and of course, showing off those huge paws of his.

The rough sketches I did here are quite similar, with the biggest difference being how the character is resting.

Fusky, from twitter, asked for this picture. At first I though on making him regular size, and me (the cat) macro, on a city. Then he decided to go for the micro him and regular me.

This commission was done for Mizuame, on fA, who wanted to have some underwater action.

I guess its my first "flying hands" picture! Had a weird time confronting myself with the idea that those hands weren't severed, but just hands like those of the videogames XD haha anyways, enjoy!

Did several roughs for this one too, which again, had a good chance to be completed, but Mizuame just decided for the final one that is also the most complex one, since it has the underwater view. Customers just can't go for the easier ones XD

some people think I do not take female commissions, but I do! This Opossum is Moss, who told me she wanted to be depicted on a forest like the ones she used to explore in her childhood ^^

These are the small roughs I did to figure out the best composition, again, was a difficult decision, but this time Moss was who decided the final pose :P

I just loved working on this particular piece! Riolta sent me a message asking me to make a special picture for he and his partner. Later, due to reasons and casualties I found out why he wanted the picture, so I put an extra effort on it.

Ah I love how this commission, for Soarin, came out! He wanted to show his character lounging on a city landscape, and being a bit naughty.

Wanted to play with some perspective here, that's why I added that black frame, and I think it works fine, giving the impression the paws just pop out of the picture.

That also solved my never ending issue and struggle: Paws are always so big that they end up out of the frame...

Let me share with you this simple colored commission I did for Vaille!

For this pic I did several sketches and had to choose only one to color, which was quite difficult, and in fact, I'm still wanting to work on some other poses of this set. What do you think? Should I sell some of these to other guys?

Its common to find our drawings weird a little while after we "finish" them or think we are ready to color, but its always a good idea to give it some air and get back to it with fresh eyes, so we can take the picture to the next level.

I had such a good time working with this one, since it involves some of my fav subjects, that I couldn't keep painting and working on it XD But I had to let it go and just call it finished.

This is a bunny that has already appeared in some other art of mine, and this time he wanted a picture completely for himself! So here we have him, being all chill in front of a very overpopulated futuristic city landscape.

I have to admit I just loved how this sketch turned out ^^

This picture, commissioned by Bell, is of his first NSFW pictures as far as I'm concerned! and makes me quite happy that I got to be the one who made his first ;)

And those are all the progress shots, as you can see there were made some slight changes on each iteration, mostly to find the perfect pose for Bell, who seemed to have a very specific idea in mind.

This is Fek's character Cricket ! I also have a naked version attached for you to enjoy!

And as you can see, in the first roughs I drew him with a long tail! Which is wrong, and I fortunately noticed that before finishing the colored version :P

More Otter Love!

I had such a blast working with this picture mostly due to playing with the idea of underwater action. I wanted to make clear that they were below the water, but without throwing all the colors to blue hues :p So I just added the water border touching some of the guys' bodies and I think that makes the effect.

Ahh this picture was such a pleasure to color! You can find the lineart for this one on an earleir post. And the commissioner, Rennix, even printed this one on canvass, which actually fits quite well the coloring style - painting style.

I was very impressed and very happy to see how that print came out ^^

This commisson is for FluffyBoi Lumi! who wanted his fluffy dragon character, and his PAWS to be painted by me, and gave me a lot of freedom to work with. He told me he was into videogames, and I wanted to make it a little bit more cyberpunkish than just adding a controller :P

Attached you can find the big pngs of the two other versions, with some nice underwear and a tight gaming suit ;)

Also, I made some videos with this drawing, explaining how I came up with the idea, the pose, some fixes and the preparations to color, will be up next week, so keep an eye on that!

At first I thought it was going to be a very difficult angle, and struggled a bit with how to make him look super big! then I came up with the idea of de saturating a little bit the top of his body; head and chest, so that more atmosphere was between us and his face, which in the end makes the illusion of depth and distance.

And this guy here is ready!! Was such a pleasure to work with such a species that I can't wait to have the chance to draw some others of this family ;)

I got the commission of making some sketches for the fursuit head of Irlis Ottah and made some rough drafts first to get the idea of him ^^

Doing what they know best!

Again, this piece ended up having the cum version as main, since I also think it best tells the story of what's happening.

Here is the first rough sketch, which I only used to settle down the poses, the rest came through INTENSE digital painting XD (you can find that process in an earlier post below)

Hey! Finally had the chance to make a panel sequence for someone! And had to be the nice BrokenWing, who always enjoys naughty and messy stuff ;)

This picture began with this super rough ideas that came to life through "69- my side, your side" I wanted to show the both sides of the action and from there, the idea of a sequence came to be.

As you can see, there is no need to be precise on the early stages of a picture! It's better to be loose and super fast to get across concepts and ideas, rather than details or even characters.

Obviously, to explain the idea to BW, I had to clean up stuff a little, so that he could have a better idea and just be super sure that everything was going in the right direction .

And here is the final version, without CUM

And as you all may have already noticed, I do keep the nOcum version as the main one, BUT this time I guess the story is better told with it, so ... :P

I finally found a nice way to show the way I paint in a small video!

This speedpaint shows a coloring process that I use, which is based a lot in traditional painting ideas.

Don't blink, it goes fast haha, but I think it gives an idea on how I go from a sketch to a final picture. As you may notice, most of the pic is done with simple brushes: round or square ones, and very few layers.

I like to separate background from characters to easily change hues and add light, but in the end it all ends up flattened.

I lOVE LOVE LOVE this one so much!!

Really had a great time working on it. If you pay attention closely, I tried to keep a rougher feel in the brush strokes, specially trying to achieve a pastel look and feel to it. I think the pastel approach really works with the blending of colors ^^

I think it also adds a lot to let some of the texture see through !

Look! my coloring world changed when I thought about this:

I used to put the light as if all light sources were at one side of the figure:

Light at the left side, shadow at the right side, and that was it. It gave an OK result, but never really added volume to the figure.

Suddenly one day I realized I could put the lightsource somewhere else! In fact, I like to think of it as if independent of the light source, which ends up giving the figure and picture an overall "style" rather than just an obvious representation of light.

By putting light in the middle of the figure, or rather, in the volume of the shapes I drew, I could begin to "carve" the figure through its lighter colors.

This one will feature a cute sexy otter in a cyberpunkish sushi bar.

Expect tons of details for the background ;)

Yes! This brush TOOL SET is for Photoshop use, and contains all the brushes that I use to create furry art.

You can find both the sketching pencils and the painting brushes that I enjoy using.

As you may notice, these are very simple ones, without much effects, and they are mostly aimed to create some texture within the figure.

NOTE: these ARE NOT PHOTOSHOP BRUSHES BUT PHOTOSHOP BRUSH TOOL PRESETS ! (I've found they are easier to manage and control, since you save the entire set of presets, including opacity and even color)

Artistic Freedom! I love it, and Chorpion wanted me to work this commission with a lot of it, while including his character, Drew Otter and myself if possible, so I went ahead and designed a moment in which some furry desires end up conquering the mind of an orange cat XD

Hi! I want to share with you some ideas that help with drawing poses.

Its easy to fall into a stiff pose and just stay there forever... But lets see.

Cat on the left is stiff, the one on the right is a little bit more alive. but WHY?

Not just because of the amount of time I spent drawing each, but MOSTLY BECAUSE HOW I:

1- Balance Weight

2- Divide each part of the body to suggest that Balance (twist and bend stuff)

3- Avoid symmetry!!!

So, how do we get from stiff to dynamic, or better yet WHAT DO WE NEED TO KNOW?

If we take the body, and DIVIDE IT into parts that can be used to move in space, and play with their balance, we will be able to put life into each pose!

As seen on several drawing books and tutorials, this dummies help with NOT JUST ANATOMY but with the dynamism of poses.

There is not one that fits all, or one that is correct for everything. I recommend that you check some of them, and try them out to see which one fits your style, and more importantly, WHICH ONE INSPIRES YOU MORE LIFE !

So, what is the thing we NEED TO KNOW to make better, more dynamic poses?

-> How to divide the body into simple pieces

-> How to draw those simple pieces in space!

Once we understand how to divide the body, then we face that it can still look very stiff ...

What makes things look alive is their ability to keep balance or suggest they are about to lose it!

So, every time you face yourself in front of a stiff drawing, look for those "body lines" and try to see if they can be pushed forwards, backwards, twisted, or counter balanced in relation to the other ones.

I know it can be overwhelming at first, but its easier that it looks. So, forget those tiny anatomical details and look up for the big chunks of mass that build the body, then play with how they interact, and bam! you get a figure that can be accepted as plausible and alive!

Sofa scenes are very common, I've done like 100 by now! haha, but its always fun to figure out a way to make them look fresh and different form one another. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this one!

What a lovely Lynx!

Had a lot of fun working on the background for this one, Yet I must remember the protagonist was the butt of the guy.

This picture came together through plenty of steps, one building upon the other. The first part, a quite abstract color sketch, was the base to get to the final stage, where butt and paws are the central theme ;P

Done for my friend KiguFox; whose kigurumi will be featured in another version of this picture ;)

Another commission, this time done for Tamurros!

Yiff, as any other topic in the art world, has to be taken seriously! Certain things are more important than others when portraying a scene, and you want the viewer to go straight to them!

Avoid wanderers by adding detail, contrast or saturation to the places you want to focus. You will find that there is no point in having everything in detail, value, or size.

As always, experiment by going to the extremes! Later, in your work, add it slowly and gently, just to see how it blends together.

You must get a point across every picture-as clear and consistent as possible.

Several fundamentals can be used, which are quite simple to understand but difficult to master, and apply in your own work. Yet, its important to think about: HOW I'M GOING TO MAKE THE VIEWER SEE WHAT I WANT THEM TO SEE FIRST, AND TO MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND THAT IS THE IMPORTANT THING IN THE FRAME? ( the climax of the story)

Be fearless in exploring some tricks to get your point across, like blurring the majority of the picture, darken up what is not important. Framing faces or leaving big empty spaces around your main subject.

This commission has been done for Kevrinek, who wanted his cat portrayed on a ship, sunbathing, or trying to, at least :P

Here you can see some of the rough sketches and how I managed to get the idea for the picture, in which the commissioner wanted PAWS to be the main theme.

A simple way of understanding colors is to, first and foremost, understand how to describe shapes in space. By understanding such a thing, you can paint with two or three different colors and get a great picture, with more impact and consistence, than coloring inside linearts!

Having a white canvas at the beginning can be overwhelming; the trick is to have a process that always make you feel the page, and in the process, get your mind moving !

Remember doing some other poses for this one, but both decided to go for the one above.

This pic is super fresh guys! not just because the nice wolf out of bed/bath/or something like that, but because I'm posting this one super early (not even the owner has seen it XD) Let just hope he will enjoy it ;)

These are the three ways I use drawing to complete any picture! As you can see, they are more tools than final products, but if done right, they can be very appealing for people.

The real deal with them is that you can get across your point, and use art fundamentals to enhance the overall idea of the picture, not just the ability to use any given set of Photoshop brushes.

The way to go to draw something you already figured out (rough) ! This one can be taken to very high levels of detail and polish, but again, its more of a tool than a technique on itself.

And all of his outfits!

Sketching can be done in many ways, and for many reasons. This one is specially handy when you want to find out what to draw.

I remember being stuck on not knowing what to draw, until I found Disney movie's characters.

Those guys made me want to understand how to make pictures, and how to make them look appealing to myself and others.

And there are a lot of ways to make that happen! Through some experimentation, some books, some practice I found lots of ideas that really helped me out through the difficult times of art-blocks, insecurities and doubts! (all of those furry art involved of course)

This guy has been part of my life for a while. I love the round forms he has, and he has some kind of backstory and such. Will keep developing him through sketches for you to see!
