Hi everyone,

I’m sorry to say that while I will still be posting as much content for January as I can, perhaps even into February that I will be putting this Patreon campaign on pause for the foreseeable future. Going forward, no charges will occur, even if posts are made.

I know it may seem unfortunate, as I spent a considerable amount of time attempting to reinvigorate this campaign for myself and for you. I was pretty excited about it! However, in the last few weeks I’ve come to realize that while I enjoy doing commission work for individuals, that when faced with the task of coming up with adult content out of my own head for a Patreon, that I just don’t have the spark of inspiration.

I’ve been blaming myself for a long time, angry at myself for seemingly being unable to just put pencil to paper and simply create an output. But as I’ve gotten back to doing commissions and found how easily it comes in comparison to Patreon work, I started to wonder if maybe I’ve been misunderstanding my own interests. I love to create, and I seem to create adult work easily and enjoyably when directed by a client. It provides me with a challenge that I like figuring out. It also takes away the deciding step of what to draw. Adopting that model that with a Patreon is not financially sustainable, so I’ve decided to return to full-time freelance commissions for my adult work.

I’ll be posting a few more things for January and February, but after that, I suggest that you un-pledge and follow me on Twitter if you want to see any future work of mine. By March, I will be un-publishing this Patreon page entirely, as there does not seem to be a way to turn off charges indefinitely. So to avoid anyone being accidentally charged, this page will disappear.

Thank you for those who have joined me on this journey here on Patreon. I wish it could have been a better fit for me, but I’m glad that I more clearly understand myself artistically and personally as a result of giving it a go.

Hey all, I'm back from a rough week of coming down with a super rough case of strep. Still recovering, but now I'm not sleeping for 15+ hours a day, woo. Have some...canary-girl!

She was from issue #63 of the Archie Sonic series. A citizen of Sand Blast City, she was one of two ladies directed to wait on Sonic hand and foot, massaging him and bringing him order after order of chili dogs to keep him from wanting to leave the city that idolizes him. I'll be drawing the second of the two said ladies later.

Currently I’m recovering after a hospital visit last night. I haven’t been able to keep any food down for the past two days, so I’m trying to take things easy with myself right now while I recover.

Dang!! I had fun with this. Another holiday, another excuse to draw Rouge in an alternate outfit.

So this isn't really my usual fare in terms of content, but I taught myself some new coloring tricks with this one! Streamlining the coloring process has been my goal for some time now, and I think I hit on something with this one. Used clipping masks for each layer of shadow and highlight. It was a method that seemed to properly (finally) gel with how my brain works.

First time giving Toriel a draw. I'd like to draw more of her! Her design is just so satisfyingly simple. Playing around with color some more. Really just trying to shake off my fear and trepidation around the subject, and the only way to do that is just jump into the deep-end, I feel! Just trying to have fun and see what I can learn along the way. :)

Really digging into some study now that we're set up in the studio/office. I'm enjoying refreshing myself on my earlier knowledge of anatomy, but also kick off the effort to really, properly build a visual library. There's only one way to do that, and that's repetition, repetition, repetition. There are patterns and rhythms of the human body and I'm just gosh dang determined to burn into my brain, into that visual library in my head. Essentially, what I'm doing with color lately I'm also trying to do with anatomy. Pushing my skills into new places so that ultimately I'll have an easier time working from imagination.

If you've taken a peek lately at my front page, you'll have noticed a complete overhaul of my Patreon campaign. I've been making gradual changes lately, and seeing how they felt. (Some stuck, some haven't.) Over time, one course of action has become glaringly clear to me...

Namely: it's time to simplify everything. Whew!

◇ What does that mean?

It means a complete restructuring of how I see this Patreon campaign.

Up to this point, I, like many other creators out there, have been stressing myself to the point of breaking in worry over how best to provide both art and benefits to my supporters. The people who believe in me and my work. You.

It's easy to let it terrify you, but then that does absolutely no good to anyone: suddenly I'm creatively locked up, and then the art no longer flows, causing even more stress, and the cycle repeats ad infinitum...

So I had to figure out what would take the stress of delivering off of me to let me feel creative once again. I looked high and low, at dozens of other Patreon campaigns of artists to see if I could find something that just felt better. Ultimately, this comes down to how I picture it in my mind. I believe I finally hit upon a winning combination:

• A Patron-exclusive Sketch Blog, where I put EVERYTHING up on the feed as I create it, not just highly-polished illustrations. You've already been seeing some of this, expect a lot more.
• All HD work will be thrown into a Mega Archive and the link will be refreshed every month. No more finagling "packs" or "art boxes" every week or month.
• PSDs and process steps will still be zipped and uploaded to the feed.

That's it. Feels like a big ol' breath of relief! I hope it sounds good to you guys, too. This also comes close on the heels of another change I've made, which is to expand my work into more anthro/furry subjects, and human-based studies/subjects, not just mostly Sonic.

Of course, these changes have been implemented in the newly adjusted tiers. The details of those are below.

This was a BIG decision for me, as I'd held back on changing the price of access to HD content, feeling that it would be unfair to those who initially joined me on the $1 tier. I've since come to realize that it's a sign that I'm coming to better value myself and my work.

The $10 tier currently exists without unique benefits at this time. In the future when support reaches a point that would allow it, I would like to look into creating physical items and would likely offer store discounts at this level. There are a number of things I'd love to start creating, like charms and enamel pins, so we'll see where things go.

◇ "What now? I'm in the old $1 tier"

As a Patron in the now retired $1 tier, you will have until January 1st before the tier is removed (it has been unpublished and is no longer viewable on the front page.)Please make sure to choose a new tier prior to January 1st, otherwise you will end up in "No-Reward Limbo" once the tier is gone. I will reach out to anyone who ends up there, but it's best to just avoid it in the first place so you don't have any interruption of content.

If, as a current $1 Patron, you decide to join the new $3 tier and home of my HD content, please know that you will be making a massive impact on my livelihood, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Still chipping away at this one. I feel like it's starting to come together! Shrunk the composition a bit.

Since I am eager to expand into more furry/kemono-esque subjects, and heard back from Patrons in my Discord that they would be similarly eager to see them, I figured I might as well start with my own OC.

So here's a furry/kemono version of my surfer girl, Cove. She's a golden/strawberry tiger.

Here’s a WIP of the current big illustration I’m making. I’m really trying to push my understanding of color into new places, because I want to start creating more scenes like this which take atmosphere and lighting into account. It’s a little scary to be venturing into new places artistically, but nothing is scarier than stagnating.

Hey everyone! Will be posting a WIP illustration update later today, but first...

Monthly Content & Event Schedule! (Ooo, ahh, shiny~) I thought it was time to have a bit more structure to each month, which will be good for me and for you! You’ll know when to expect content (like big ol’ sketch piles and illustrations) to be delivered, and events, like...

Art Streams! It’s been over a year now since I’ve streamed, heck. As I‘ve been working solely on my iPad, I haven’t been able to stream via Picarto. Now that I’ve got a desktop setup again, it’s time to get back into it. The streams will be held in the evening (exact time is still TBD, but will be announced at the start of the week-of) and will last for at least a few hours. I’ll be working on a mix of my own work + commissions. Every now and then I’ll turn to Patrons for suggestions, too!

I hope this is helpful for Patrons both current and future. I know I’ve wanted to put more orderliness into my own life and this just feels like a good way to do it where everyone knows what’s going on.

Well heck. I’m still learning the ropes of using Procreate, so while this is a little rough it’s my first completed illustration made using it! As I use it more, I know I’ll find more efficient and elegant workflow methods, but I’m pretty proud of how this turned out!

I’m so thrilled to say that I’ve finally started getting the hang of working in Procreate on the iPad. One thing this means is that I can finally add Timelapse Videos back as a $5 Patron benefit!

Procreate captures every stroke made as opposed to the duration of time spent, which makes for more efficiently-sized videos, plus I don’t have to worry about forgetting to flip recording on and off, it just happens automatically.

Hey everyone! I’ve decided that I’ll be sharing commissions I’ve done here on Patreon going forward. That means as patrons you’ll see all future commissions as Early Access, as well as receiving the HD version of them. For July’s rewards, I’ve thrown together a bundle of past commissions in HD size, but all future rewards will have fresh and juicy new work.

Because $5 Patrons have been experiencing difficulty viewing PSDs, and since I may be sharing fewer of them going forward, I will be switching to providing the native file format that each piece was created in.

For Clip Studio Paint, that means the raw format is .CLIP, but there may be the odd .PSD in the future since I am trying to teach myself how to use Procreate and it handles exporting to PSD with more grace and compatibility than Clip Studio. Thanks to your support, I was able to purchase a keyboard to use with my iPad, which is already making my work a lot easier.

To offset this change, I’m also now offering a 10% off my normal commission prices to all $5 Patrons, and ALL Patrons will be given first alert ahead of the public when my commissions open up. A new page with all of my commission information is coming soon, and you’ll all be the first to see it.

Hello my dear Patrons,

Thank you for your patience and unwavering support through the last few months during which I’ve been going through a very personal and difficult time. I haven’t been producing nearly as consistently as I’ve been wanting to.

The good news of it is that the biggest part of the storm has passed for me now, and it appears that things will be more consistent here on this Patreon going forward.

To assist with this and in keeping in touch with patrons in a more casual way, I’ve brought back my Patron-only Discord server, which many of you have been auto-joined into already thanks to the PatreonBot. This is where I will post many early work-in-progress previews, where we can chat together, and where you can enjoy a few other fun channels.

Had so much fun with this one. Definitely took my time in the sketch phase and let it evolve, worked on the shapes. Laid in the colors in the sketch tie-down phase instead of waiting until inks were done. It helped me picture the final product in a constructive way rather than stressing over trying to do that right from the start!

UPDATE: Added a couple WIP images to show the initial sketch+color draft

I've been trying to figure out where I have the most difficulty in the creative process, and I realized that the sketch phase is often the part of the process I seem to undervalue the most. I seem to want to mentally rush through and ahead in the process in my mind due to weird anxieties that make me feel the need to picture the way the final piece looks, instead of letting it evolve naturally.

So, I decided to slow down and try to summon the methods I once used back when I was a beginning artist, making an effort to really be in the moment and enjoy the creation and evolution of the sketch. I've found that this already helps me put my own voice back into my work in a way I haven't been able to for some time.

This will bring a lot more content to the table for you guys, and will expand the options of which pieces I'll ink and color. :)

Hello everyone, thank you for your patience. Some serious family issues arose this month, and I have been having to handle some very upsetting situations regarding the health of my father. It has drained me physically and emotionally to an extreme degree, and art was very difficult. I finally feel like I have recovered, and I am feeling more at ease, but I may have to prepare for my father's passing sooner than expected.

I'd completely forgotten it was a short month, as my upload target was set for today, which is.. a little past February, huh? Still, there's a full month ahead so nothing lost! Thank you all for your amazing support. <3

I am very proud of this piece, as I wanted to both capture that older Archie Sonic feeling, as well as work on a piece that needed a background to help it feel more complete rather than something that felt tagged on as an afterthought. I hope to continue to build on my background skills going forward.

Hey guys, it's been an interesting month, sorry for the radio silence! Came back a bit late from the Florida family trip, but then had to promptly arrange and then take a road trip to pick up a vehicle (which we haven't had in over 2 years!!)

Art-wise, I have overcome a lot of artistic hurdles that I'm really happy about. I've got a big PDF coming later tomorrow that will encompass everything I've worked on this month. Some of it has been in preparation for a comic I'm actively planning and concepting for.. I'm very excited about this. I've received a lot of encouragement from another artist friend of mine who pushed me to pursue this story, so I'm diving in head-first.

I've also been doing quite a bit of reading and researching on the comic-making pipeline from outline-to-scrip story-building and the methods of sequential art. More details on the comic will be coming tomorrow as well in the pages of the PDF, but the above image will give you a small hint about it!

Sorry for the wait, folks. A combination of hotspot/slow internet and PDF issues made for a fun couple days haha, but here you go!! Next month I plan to fill even more pages, but I'm happy to finally release one of these rough drawing sketchbooks for the first time.

This is a bit more personal, but I thought I should try to express what the reasons are behind these changes I'm making. They are not simply superficial surface changes to tiers, as those are just the byproduct of the bigger change.

For some time now I've been struggling to find the next step in my artistic development. Feeling like I know what I want to see in my work, but missing some sort of important catalyst; like feeling a missing link somewhere. Recently, I just threw my hands up and surrendered over this, simply because it's been exhausting in a lot of ways every day.

In my sudden absence of focus from this previously exhausting issue, within days, the inspiration hits me of how and where I want to take my self-teaching next. (a laundry list of items, to be sure, but I will go into detail about these at some point next month as content starts to be delivered.)

This is why I'm taking steps to refresh how I provide content, because I want it to match the sureness that I feel about the more confident place I have recently moved into regarding myself as an artist.

It is up to you if you would like to continue this journey with me to see where that goes. Just know I wouldn't be having this personal evolution now, here, without all of you, and for that I am forever in appreciation of you. Thank you.

A reworking of a picture from back in May. I feel like Sonic would have all the girls in Unleashed starstruck upon meeting him, and would have an ample supply of tail in every corner of the world as a result.

Thank you all so much for your positive feedback about wanting to see some of the SFW work I do. You can't fight inspiration, plus it's refreshing for the artist's palette.

This is simply a model sheet of a character I designed many years ago but have finally refined enough to make one of these for her. She lives in the Shamar region from Sonic Unleashed.

I used this as practice for a number of things. I think I might use a similar approach to something 18+

While this isn't NSFW, I would love to start including all forms of work to Patreon, early access & HD versions included. What do you guys think? I'm also working on a ref sheet of a character of mine, a very guilty-pleasure project I've been putting off for years, but I've realized that Patreon is to help create those things that have been put off so long, so it's time to go all-in. This won't affect tiers or the adult content I publish.

That said, some organizational changes are coming to the tiers, but it will be to reconcile, not create more tiers, (so you may find yourself with more rewards soon without having to change a thing.)

Ended up catching a cold this month, but while I wasn't feeling well, I ended up re-watching a lot of Tiny Toons, and boy.. what a great show. I have an even deeper appreciation of it now than I did all those years ago (mostly because all those jokes you never understood as a kid add that extra layer of hilarity nowadays. Sometimes the writing was so sharp you could cut yourself!)

I think a lot of you will be happy to know that I'm going to be branching out from Sonic work, but please note this does NOT mean I will be excluding Sonic work going forward. I am not tired of Sonic or plan to stop creating Sonic work for long stints. I simply inspired to start drawing designs I've always loved but never tried my hand at, but I also feel it will refresh my creative pallet and in the end help me create better Sonic work.

There will never be an art pack that is lacking Sonic-related work.

That said, what sort of characters would you all like to see more of? I'll be drawing the subjects I love, but hearing your answers might help me know just how much of something you guys might like to see.

As previously stated, I've started focusing equally on rough/practice works, and boy oh boy, it's already making a huge difference for me. Above is a preview of a sketch from the handful of them I'm working on at the moment.

Now it's time to do another experiment. For a while I'm going to switch to bi-weekly updates. So to let you guys know, Week 3 & 4 will arrive next week together as a single pack.

Here's the easiest way to explain it:

PREVIOUS SCHEDULE

Single Week: 50% rough work/50% polished work (rough work was often to be used for polished work, leaving little time for naturally inspired sketch-only/practice time. Both halves of time feel rushed to me.

NEW SCHEDULE

Week 1: can be an entire week of no-purpose/no guidelines sketching, etc. (creates the most inspiring environment for me)
Week 2: focus shifts to working on polishing pieces, starting new polished works from start to end, etc.

This way, I can spend more time shaping sketches, and end up providing higher quality (possibly even quantity) content than two usual Weekly Packs combined from the slightly longer work period. If I switch back to weekly, I'll also be sure to mention it. (But I have a good feeling about the change!)

Going forward I'll be including a weekly Sketchbook cache of sketches/unfinished/various works. I feel like I haven't been doing enough sketching for the sake of sketching, rather than something intended to be polished and completed. Apologies again that this week has been a bit of a topsy-turvy situation.

I was able to restore my workspace to its original state which is a HUGE relief, and was the thing I was the most crushed about losing when everything failed on me. There are still a lot of things to manually restore, but thankfully with the help of a friend I was able to avoid any actual data loss. Thank you Raga!

Also, I'm making another addition for Shovel Claw patrons. I'm trying to avoid doubling-up on similar content for some tiers, like Treasure Scope which has both PSD and Steps (which won't change, since in being in the higher tiers you get everything below it) however I will be bumping Steps down to Shovel Claw, since PSD in the tier above is obviously more content beyond the Steps since it is the source file.

I may or may not add another reward to Treasure Scope tier this month, as it is something I would have to give some thought to first to come up with something worth adding. If you have a suggestion for a new reward for this tier, feel free to share in the comments!

My set-up to both record Timelapse videos and take snapshot Steps has been a little wonky so far, I apologize! Hello you beautiful people, hopefully Spring has arrived for most of you! It sure is a relief to have sun again, let me tell you.

As this month ends (and there are still two works to be posted tomorrow so keep an eye out,) I wanted to let you know of some changes that I'll be making starting in May as a result of the survey most of you took this month.

The biggest change will be...

WEEKLY HD Reward Packs and MORE CONTENT!

This means I get to hold myself to a more productive and structured (and better, imo) schedule for creating content. That's already super exciting for me, someone who craves daily structure.

For you this means you won't be waiting until the following month to receive the Reward .zip like I've previously been doing. That will still hold true for this month, but starting in May, I'll be sending out Rewards every weekend containing everything I've created during that week, tailored to each tier.

What will change about the content of the Rewards Pack?

• You'll receive the HD versions the same week they're finished
• If you're a $5 Patron, you'll be receiving a PSD file EACH WEEK instead of one per month
• As per the results of the survey, I'll start including more sketches and practice work
• If you're a $10 Patron, the monthly Video is being replaced with weekly Step-by-Step images that I capture throughout my work process. (Videos and Step-by-Step images were almost tied though the latter had one more vote, and because of how poorly my computer handles video editing, I decided to go with Step-by-Steps. Personally I feel it's a bit more fun, and much less of a hassle.)

As far as general content changes, there was clearly a desire for more Cheesecake-style pieces, and I am more than happy to begin providing it! As far as the results of the second survey I sent out, the top preferred genres were:

Regarding "Less Sonic content" it's a bit all over the map...

I can continue to create a polished full-color with PSD non-Sonic piece every month or so like I have been, or I can just start including non-Sonic work in other areas of my content like sketches, practice, or just general lesser-works. So that there isn't really a "dedicated" type of work each month but rather just creating whatever tickles my fancy at the moment.

I've been trying to be less rigid with WHAT I create for you all, and more rigid with the QUANTITY of production. I want to draw MORE and just see what comes of it, rather than promising specific content. The only thing that would adhere to something specific with assurance is the delivery of whatever wins in the polls that you vote on. Hopefully this appeals to most of you, because that's what I realized feels the most natural for me as a content creator.

Since this is the perfect time to introduce it, let me know either through comments or through the new Feedback Form how you feel about that, it would be very illuminating for me to know (been stressing myself out a bit over it, whoops!) I've also created a new Suggestion Form as well.

Whew.. alrighty!

I'd forgotten how I wanted to provide the same "density" of content each month, even if that means 3 pieces instead of 4, because one or two of them were very detailed with multiple poses or maybe I created a comic.

Doing both the Sally and Bunnie pages this month were probably the most intensive learning+experimentation that I've ever done in the scope of two illustration pages. All I can say is that I'm really happy with my improvement and I like the direction I'm finally starting to feel in my work, something I've really longed for.

I'll still be working on the Shantae picture next but it will be part of April's content because want to give it the proper attention it deserves. I'll probably be redrawing it because I'm not entirely happy with the current composition I've got.

Now that this piece is complete I'm going to compile and send out the HD Art Pack rewards over the next couple of hours! Thank you all for your patience and allowing me to get deeeeeep into the learning, because hey it's win/win!

Hey everyone! I've been a bit quiet, but fear not there will be no dip in content! There are a few things I'm working on that you'll be seeing in the next week.

I've also been trying to incorporate new things into my repertoire; it's tough as hell to find that sweet spot of things you love in other's work out there to make that new blend and then apply it. I'm just so happy to see my work evolving and it makes everything worth it. I hope the collage of Sally above says some of that. This will be getting inks and colors very soon.

To kick off my doujin activities, the first project I've decided to take on is a CG Collection (a collection of illustrations, usually tied together with anidentifiabletheme.) This particular CG Collection will feature Blaze as the theme. Other characters will appear, but Blaze will be the focus of the fun!

As this is a doujin project, WIP content for this project is available only to Shovel Claw Tier ($3) and up, ($1+ Patrons will receive this CG Collection upon its completion, as always.) This is a project that will run concurrent with my usual monthly content as over and above. I rarely go back and make improvements on past works, but here's another. I felt like there were some things I could adjust to help make appear more 3D, as well as adding in some line weight to assist with clarity.

Wanted to practice a more loose style of inking with more analog-like look.

I just want to take a quick moment to explain to you all how my content will naturally fluctuate each month.

As a brief aside since it's been on my mind, I've been wanting to do more collage-like pieces, (a single page containing an arrangement of multiple poses/mini-scenes) which don't necessarily qualify as a single "illustration," per se, and aren't sequential like a comic, but are in themselves finished images. They'll be fun, just wait.

So basically, between all the things I want to output on a regular basis (that you'll see reach completed form within the Patron feed, doujin previews being separate of that):

• Illustrations
• Collage pages
• Short comics
• Bonus Sketches (exploration sketches preceeding an illustration/sketches I have no immediate plans of finishing/sketches that will remain sketches/etc.)

There will be no set number of these per month. Not to say I won't be producing something every week or two, but here's an example:

Example 1: During one month, I create 3 collage pages, 2 bonus sketches, and the monthly illustration that you guys vote for. That month I will likely forego any short comics or additional illustrations.

Example 2: The following month, I create a short 2-3 page comic, 4 bonus sketches, and the monthly illustration that you guys vote for.

This is what I mean by fluctuating content. Not that I'll produce MORE overall one month and substantially LESS overall the next, but just that my work will fluctuate between categories of what I aim to produce.

I'm positively thrilled to announce that Patreon now has it's own poll-creation system! The release of this feature conveniently coincided with the change I made of one vote per Patron. Happy New Year everyone!

This year is going to be a great one, I can feeeeel it. How do I know? Well.. here's what's on the horizon:

COMICS!

Yes, I'm finally going to take the plunge and start making comics/doujin, both short and long. (Oh my.) All Sonic-related for the foreseeable future; it's what I love the most and also what I'm most familiar with. Plus, I have tons of ideas for them.

Because I have big plans of eventually visiting as well as selling at Comiket, all comics will be created in the right-to-left reading format. Dialogue will be in English, but eventually I will provide both Japanese and English versions.

Voting

I know we only just recently began this method of voting, but starting this month, all Patrons will have equal voting power. Wait! Before you get concerned, my $5 Patrons, the loss of your extra vote will be replaced with a different benefit.

My reasons for this are because not only will I continue to ask for your vote once a month for the Patron-voted illustration, but I will also be asking from time to time for you to cast your vote on which short comic you'd like to see me make next.

I realized having one poll (Patreon illust) where some can vote more than once, and having others (for comics) where I am looking for only one vote per-Patron.. just doesn't make much sense. So I'm leveling the playing field in terms of voting power. As a result of this, to better ensure a clear winner I will be making all future monthly character polls 8 characters or less. This will cause the voting results to be far less scatter-shot. Any characters removed from the current roster who were fairly popular, will make a reappearance as spots require filling, so don't worry if your personal favorite pick goes away.

Drawing and Short Comic Suggestions

So.. since it has become apparent that not all $5 Patrons are interested in joining the Discord server where I have provided the link to the Patreon-Suggestion doc, I have decided to make it, and the brand new Short Comic Suggestion doc, more accessible by posting a link to them both in the Patron feed, (I will post them after this post is live.)

This Drawing Suggestion doc is where you can contribute your more specific ideas of what you would like to see me draw, and of course the Short Comic Suggestion doc is where you can let me know what sort of comic scenarios you'd like to see!

Hey everyone! We're back from visiting family and I'm back to work again. This month's PatreonPick illustration will be posted before the end of the month as promised. Thank you all so much for your patience and support. I am rarely away for so long, but it was a vacation greatly needed. I have returned renewed, refreshed, and ready to create!

This month was a little more light on full-color works, but as a rule my minimum goal per month is 2 illustrations (+bonus sketches), one of those illustrations always being the one you guys voted on! So while that's my minimum, my usual goal is 3-4 illustrations per month (+bonus sketches), so that's what things will be back to for January.

Something was bugging me about the balance of the tiers still after last night, so here is an ammendment that I feel will ultimately be for the best.

If this prompts some of you to adjust your pledge from $5 to the $1 Tier, then please do so by all means! I feel these adjustments make sense, because pledging any amount of money to me to support my ability to create my personal work is positively thrilling, and I want those who pledge to feel some of that thrill by receiving as much benefit through their support of me as I can provide.

So, here are the newly restructured tiers:

$1 Tier Patrons

• Access to Patreon only feed
• Receive the HD Art Pack after the end of each month(Pack includes the collected monthly works of Illustrations, Variants and Bonus Sketches, all in HD resolution)

Yes, I am happy to announce that now $5 Patrons have access to my Discord server.

However, as a result I am REMOVING the $10 pledge tier. Despite brainstorming with the $10 Patrons who are currently in my Discord on ways to keep it, the best option turned out to be to simply remove this tier.

ALL $10 Patrons MUST adjust their tier to the $5 Reward Tier, even if you want to adjust your pledge amount manually, in order to receive the new Discord rewards.

I have had some people tell me they would still wish to pledge $10, or any amount above $5, and that is above and beyond generous and I appreciate anyone's desire to do so.

As I said, even $1 is a generous donation that I am infinitely thankful for, as every dollar I receive is a dollar I would not otherwise be making by creating my personal work, and to me that is truly incredible and deserving of all I can give.

Hello everyone!

Before I go any further, I would like to begin by giving thanks for all of you. That you enjoy my work enough to support it in this way that allows me to both continue to make more while finally exploring ways to continually improve, instead of only coming back to the Sonic art community every so often like I have over the last 10 years, only to end up having to work only on commissions. It's been so many years that I've said over and over, "I can't wait to make my own work again," and I'm so, so happy that it's finally a reality. So, thank you, from my heart and soul. Even after just this month I feel I have turned another corner and have new things I want to try in my approach to my work. I wouldn't have been able to get this far so quickly without all of you. Thank you.

Also, I'm almost halfway to my first goal of $1000!! At that first goal, I'll be able to cover very basic expenses for every month (rent, bills, food.) Once that's reached, for one month I will create TWO PatreonPick illustrations; one of the winner which is voted on as usual, and one of the runner up character.

As for when my second goal is reached.. I want to create a special themed illustration series (as always, 18+.. theme is currently undecided,) as well as create some fun designs for things like vinyl stickers and acyrlic charms (SFW) Because with that income, not only will I be able to save for important life-things like a car, my own place, etc., I'll actually be able to have fun things created like that.. it's sort of been an idea on the backburner of my mind for like 7 years haha, so it'd be awesome to finally create them. Patrons would of course receive a discount on any merchandise I end up selling!

Tomorrow I'll be sending out the first HD .zip package!! The recipients are the $5 and $10 tier Patrons, and it will contain all the colored works, WIP/inks, including extra sketches, that I've done this month, at a much bigger resolution for your enjoyment. As a reminder, only $10 Patrons will receive the .PSD (raw, layered file) of the PatreonPick, so if you want that be sure to update your pledge before the end of today.

Last week I set up a way for $10 Patrons to contribute all of their ongoing ideas for things they would like to see me draw. So far it's working out great and I can see it as a great way for me to hear more of Patron's personal suggestions and then use it as a way to produce more content for you guys!

$10 Patrons have access to this method of suggestion contribution through my Discord server, and that is what I suggest because then you can partake in other Discord-only benefits (getting to see content early, continuous peeks at my in-progress work, chatting with me and everyone,) but if for any reason you don't want to join the Discord and you are a $10 Patron, you can message me and I can provide you the link to the Drawing Suggestion doc.

I decided to add another reward for $10 Patrons, as I didn't feel I was giving quite enough back for $10 a month.. so, introducing the

COOLBLUE Patreon Discord server, where you can:

• See even earlier sneak peeks of works-in-progress/upcoming pieces and sketches
• Chat with me and other $10 tier patrons
• Ask me questions (if you have any)
• ...and in general have a good time!

All new members of the $10 tier will automatically be invited to the Discord as soon as they connect their Discord account with their Patreon account (click here to learn how to do just that,) where they will then be assigned the Patron role via the Patreon Bot in the server.

• The roster keeps it's vote-count from month-to-month, meaning the votes will accumulate on each character over the months.
• $1 Patrons get one (1) vote to spend, $5 Patrons get two (2) votes, and $10 Patrons get three (3) votes.
• Multiple votes can be used on one character, or split up between more than one.
• Votes only count if your pledge has been processed for the month. If your pledge is declined, your votes will be placed "on hold" and will be added later if the pledge goes through. If your pledge does not go through, the votes aren't counted. All votes are checked for eligible vote count and pledge accuracy.
• If you use less votes than what your pledge is worth, I will apply the unassigned votes myself. Example: $10 patron casts only one vote, I will automatically assign all 3 votes in the same way. If they use 2 out of 3 votes on Character A and Character B, then I will pick myself whether the third vote will be assigned to A or B. This is in cases where votes by the Patron go unassigned. Please make sure to vote completely if you are part of the $5 or $10 tier.

• If a character receives less than 3 people voting on them each month, they will get a strike. Three strikes removes them from the roster.
• These characters can be re-nominated through the above method of using votes to suggest them, and if accepted will be placed at the end of the current wait-list of other suggested characters.

The final should look as the previous isometric picture did. Here I am trying something a little more complicated with the room layout. The bridge of the Sky Patrolis barely referenced in the comic, save for a few scenes where Sonic and Tails check out the thisFFFF(Floating Fortress of Freedom Fighting). The problem is that most of the shots of the bridge are facing downward toward the characters in the scenes, leaving only 1-2 actual reference images to use for the entire bridge, at least, that I could find browsing through the comics! Also, the Sky Patrol is seriously taking a rather large page from Star Trek, isn't it? Set a course for finishing this picture. And... engage.

I wanted to start a discussion here of what you all think would be good ideas for a 1-time Milestone Goal for the $500 goal (which is $200 away!)

Personally my own ideas include creating a dakimakura design of a character that receives the most votes here in a private poll for Patrons-only, or designing a sexy/cute double-sided acrylic standee, but we want to hear your ideas as well.

As far as non-physical Milestone Rewards, I have some comic ideas that I've been working on (but haven't had the time to make them because my energy has had to be put into making money through other side-ventures.) So here are some comic ideas as Milestone reward that could be a possibility:

COMIC IDEA #1:

"Tikal in a "coming of age" ceremony. The special year where she turns 15 and must go through a sacred initiation as the latest, budding female of her tribe. She does not know what awaits her, but the many male echidnas of her tribe certainly do. She expects ancient rituals and festivals but ends up getting something very unlike her expectations!"

COMIC IDEA #2:

"Amy goes shopping in downtown Station Square, but finds herself the center of some unwanted attention by some humans on her train ride home. Being groped and violated from all sides, Amy is at the mercy of salarymen and explorers (from the Mystic Ruins) alike, and must satisfy them all before her route stop is up."

Hello to you! HotRed here. Sorry for the delay in posts. We will be posting art more frequently soon! We just moved into our new place, and are getting used to it. We only just now received internet! Thanks to your support, we were able to buy desks and chairs for ourselves after we moved.

Thank you for sticking with us, this month has been very eventful for us. We have moved across the country to move in with a dear friend of ours. Soon we will be in an more production-oriented environment than where we were previously living (in a cramped, temporary room) so just hang on and we will be back with the goods.

There would have been another update before the move, but turns out we had to come over a week early to make things official on paper, so we had to hustle and get going in under 2 days, so we apologize for this slightly delayed update.

Okay! Whew! So here is the the news: the multi-talented HotRed and I are teaming up to create Team 2Chroma, and this Patreon going forward will now be the primary home of our work and behind-the-scenes material!

In all honesty, I was struggling with the Patreon concept: what should I post? when? for whom? what should I be eating while I post it?? I may be exaggerating slightly but it was still a strange concept to both of us. Now we have simplified it, it's where we're going to put EVERYTHING! (In fact, all $5+ patrons will see the two new sketch updates made tonight.)

The tiers have been squished down so that you'll get the most bang for your buck, so-to-speak. There are now only three tiers: $1, $5, and $10.

The $1 gets you our more sincere thanks from the bottom of our hearts. The $5 tier gets you EVERYTHING but the kitchen sink!! No more will parts of our work be separated into different tiers, all you need is this one!

The $10 tier I suppose is the kitchen sink! This gets you a raffle ticket each month, and every month 2 winners will be chosen and will receive a sketch from one of us! (1 sketch per winning Patron)

I apologize for the inconsistency of this month, we are in the process of moving to the opposite side of the country and it has certainly been an interesting journey so far. Nonethless, once the move is complete and things have settled, things will become full-swing here on the Patreon.

There will be no normal schedule, though we will try to adhere to some regularity. Think of our Patreon as a place to see all of our content ahead of the public, and a place where we will leave goodies for you just as regularly, and sometimes we will reach out and ask what you'd like to see from us!

This Patreon had a bit of a journey in getting to this point, but we're confident that from this point forward this is more-or-less how we'd like to run things. (More stuff for you, less fuss for us!)

Hello again! I wanted to explain properly how the flow of content will sort of be throughout each month. Upon receiving payment at the beginning of each month, at about the first weekend of the month I will start updates and it will be sort of like this:

• Payment charges occur between the 1st and 8th of every month (This acts as access to content that is created throughout the new month.)
• $25 and up Patrons are the only group who will receive their unique reward at the beginning of each month, as it will be content from the previous month.
• I am generating content for both January and February at this time, so you will receive 2 months of of digital sketchbook pages at the beginning of February.
• $3 and up Patrons will then have access to all work-in-progress image updates and voting polls as they happen through the new month.
  
• $5 and up Patrons will receive a .zip at the end of the month of larger resolution versions of what was released during the month
• $10 and up Patrons will receive a .zip at the end of the month of the source files I have chosen to include for that month. This group will also be invited to the Request Stream (a private link will be provided) which does not have a date yet, but will likely be scheduled during the second half of each month.
• $50 and up Patrons will receive all rewards that have been detailed already, the only difference is that due to being in a private Skype chat with me, they often see work-in-progress images early, and see digital sketchbook content as it's made.

I'll create a Visual Novel Adventure Game, with fully hand-drawn animations. (NOFlash tweening!) Patrons will help me decide unique scenarios and the characters involved.

I know that new Patrons have not been charged, but I just want you guys to know how much I appreciate you, so here's some work in progress previews of what is coming next month animation-wise! Both animations will be fully cleaned and colored, likely some backgrounds if I can manage it.

Hello everyone, it's been a while. I've been busy with school, as usual, but I've also been dealing with a recently diagnosed genetic disorder that turns out is the reason I've been anemic most of my life, (also constantly exhausted, unfocused, etc.) I'm on the way up in terms of treatment, so I hope this means that a more productive future lies ahead.

That being said, I would like to be transparent with you, my supporters. As you know, I have only made a single paid post since I created this Patreon. I would like to change this, but with some changes to my Patreon as well.

I have made the choice to remove all "tiers" of pledges, as I want to let myself create as much as possible without the background worry of fulfilling additional rewards on top of just simply trying to create content. This is so I can focus on the purpose of creating this Patreon in the first place: making art!

So, if you'll check out my new front page, you'll be able to read over the details of this new "model" for my Patreon. The most intuitive perk that I have included is that I will be running a private "Backstage Blog" for access only by you, my supporters. Access to this password-protected blog will be given within the next few days and content will be posted immediately.

Additionally, to be posted to this private blog will be pages of sketches which I will be opening up voting on which will determine the next piece that I bring to completion. I believe this is a much better method than "What character to draw next?" as the initial idea will already exist as a sketch prior to Patron voting, so the process is far less vague and the ball can just keep rolling once voting has taken place!

I understand if this change will cause some of you to leave, but I hope not because not much has truly changed (except for my skills, which has only improved since the last time you heard from me.) I just did my best to strip away all the fluff so I can get to the meat of why I'm here: to create. I hope that is something that you can all appreciate. I'm in a much better place than I have been for the last few years, and I've been creating more art than ever before.
