Someone requested I post this image uncensored from a twitter post a while back. Here it is and a few others for you guys to enjoy.
Been diggin up old Melony Sketches and have been enjoying refining some old doodle. She has such good shapes!
I've also dusted of Jenni and i'll be drawing more of her soon!
Including some rando art along just to make 1 post with 'em
Hey all. I decided to push through some more scenes instead of break down dialogue for the CG set so I have 30ish drawings nearing completion. I'll be focusing this month on putting the story together.
Here you go guys. Getting good headway on the inks for this project! Hope y'all doing good still through pandemic.
Getting through these quickly. Ill be coloring these next month. Trying to assemble the current pages and add text as we speak!
Hey all
I'll be looking to have 4 final images ready for the next week with dialogue! Some more development sketches for now.
Completed more otome designs and colors have a good mood of what I want now with the characters!
Working my way through some concept art I had for the character to get a good feel of the line treatment I want :)
I've sent out files for the last 3 months and have hopefully caught up, as you can see i've been focusing on the CG set with my Gilf and femboy, may be able to finish most of the art this month
PS hope you all are doing well on your collective ends, uncertain times and all that!
Here's some progress on the color set.
Some of the sketch/ink pages so far.
The "Hey man where the hell have you been?!!" update.
So as it may be obvious to many of you I have been MIA. I'd love to blame covid and mental issues but frankly I just dropped the ball here. I started getting into 3D printing and 3D Modeling and the month blew by. I was hoping to get the work I needed to get done bytthe end of the month but as you can see I didn't manage to do that.
We are a week and some into August and I'm only saying something now. So, that's not cool. I offer a genuine apology. I shouldn't have let the anxiety build like this to the point of avoiding my supportive audience. For those who supported last month. Don't worry I am packaging up the content and sending it directly. I don't expect anyone to support without getting the thing they signed up for. Source files will be packaged tonight and sent out to last months supporters as well.
TLDR; I fucked up my update, panicked and let anxiety cripple me. I'm sorry.
So for those interested, here are links to some of the better 3d sculpts I did.
We are also working on getting the Discord issues fixed.
In the mean time, here's a link to join the Discord: https://discord.gg/FRsgsP
Another thing to note as I've come to realize how important clothing and accessorizing is for me. I've been thinking of how to approach content where I can keep making clothing variants because frankly I find it super fun to make all sorts of creative and slutty outfits!
The last of the squidlings I'll be drawing. I do enjoy how these came out!
Some other things I had fiddled around with this past month.
Hey guys! Really sorry about the lag in update. I had got lost in a draw hole. Thanks to old ADHD, I was hyper focusing on drawing and world building. I've been looking to start a project I can sink my teeth into properly, as I've felt a little directionless since Judy ended. So I've been figuring stuff out and looking to plant my feet in firm ground. For the sake of myself and you, my supporters.
Here is what I have so far, presented through a daily diary entries style format:
***
A foreign student (Eddy) travels to Japan to learn Japanese. Wanting to enhance his learning experience, he opts for a homestay family option for his living arrangements. Upon arrival, it is revealed that his homestay family is in fact a big tittied, curvy Milf\Gilf. Before long it becomes clear something is amiss as his host mother's cock swings into action.
As time passes on, Otome (milf) becomes more and more sexually assertive Slowly turning him into a whorish, crossdressing cock-slave over the weeks. Her deprived sexual machinations are masked by her sweet motherly smile.
Eddy transforms from a socially-awkward-every-day-nobody into a trashy femboy. Shy mannerism replaced by depraved attention seeking.
***
So that basically breaks down the general concept of what I want to do moving forward. Presented in a CG style with text overlays.
In addition, I would also like to build the story and lore around Angel and Jenni. I think they are a good mix. Street smart rent boy v.s. dumb-as-bricks bimbo.
Anyway, all of this came about when I was reflecting on my art and its purpose. Asking myself what had I drawn that I was able to enjoy both artistically and sexually. I finally settled on some art I made last year, I've attached to this post. Seeing as it's been a year and I'm still very engaged with the subject matter and content I think it'll be a good fit.
So moving forward I'll be focusing on this sort of content to keep me engaged to ensure the quality and eroticism of my art.
I had been futzing arounf with this sheet for awhile and had it colored in a bit, I sort of like to go back to this drawing set and kind fiddle around with the shapes. I keep trying to get these finished but for some reason I sort of like them in the sketche phase.
Hello all!
Welcome to my Master Post. As most of you know, Patreon's navigation system is a slow muddled clunky nightmare. I've spent the last two week organizing my files, and sorting through posts and re-tagging elements to make this all easier for subscribers since I think finding the content people are supporting for can be a bit of a headache.
Monthly archives and Judy comic has been zipped into easy to download files. Please check the following posts for your tier rewards.
Full Art Access (Greater Demoness + She Devil)
In the process of collecting older comics to make into archives for supporters.

(Greater Demoness and She-Devil will be phased out soon please change you support tier)
I was trying a new coloring method but not sure I like it. (not the look but the method)
I used to hate doing variants but i find it's more and more fun to indulge in various fetishes.
Finished up this Jenni. I think she looks super cute here!
Was digging around and found some old Jennidrawings I liked so I decided to polish a few off. COlor comming soon.
ANOTHER REMINDER. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR SUPPORT TIER TO THE NEW SET. OTHERWISE YOU MAY LOSE ACCESS TO CONTENT SOON.

I did a little fan art of Seel's Character Anguria
Was really fun shapes frankly. Haven't done more expressive cartoony stuff in awhile

Was thinking about a possible scenario. Healing priest become more effective the more the blood courses through the mans body. Knowing this, having an arousing allure allows them to maximize healing potential...
There a plausible excuse to have slutty priests...
I was worried I couldn't get the colors to work on this one but I finally figured out what I wanted to do. It takes time to feel good about a drawing sometimes IMO.

Melony's shapes are so good, even with my own embelishments...
Been fiddlign with these a few days!
For some reason I always have a good time drawing peach!
I will be adding images as attachments since Patreon compresses images so badly.
Been fiddling around with some ideas. I love sporty moms for some reason!
THIS UPDATE IS IMPORTANT IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE HAVING ACCESS TO MY PATREON!!!
Hello Everyone. I am now switching to monthly!
I will You will need to change your support level to the new ones. I will be unpublishing the current ones. You have till the end of the month to change it to the new level. I will be ending those support tiers at that time your support to my Patreon will be terminated.
Since I am not sure how Patreon handles swapping your account from per update to monthly I am taking the following precautions. If anyone is accidentally billed at the current tier levels it will convert as following.
3.50$ -> 3$ (Journal and Sketches \ tip level)
5.50$ -> 7.50$ (Full art Access)
8.50$ -> 13$ (Source Access)
As the charges will per month this will be a serious discount to most of you but you need to ensure you swap to these NEW tiers as the ones you are at now will be removed. I dont want to charge anyone for the old tiers as they are not 1 for 1.
I will also be changing how I distribute my source files. They will be linked in a master thread hosting the last 12 months of source files. This will give old and new supporters a chance to grab what they may have missed.
So to be clear. The new support tiers are a few dollars more then before but since I am only charging once a month instead of 3-4 times a month, you are paying much less now.
Thanks for all the support over the years!
Doxy
she is fun to draw :)
I gotta say there is a simplicity in drawing squid. Also full body stockings are sexy as hell!
Someting about body suits and bikinis is just so awesome...
Been drawing a lot of Oleana lately. Fun to explore her hairstyle and impression. Hope you guys enjoy!
Just chunky everywhere you look :)
Howdy all!
Been building my confidence back up with art. I've been focusing a lot on Oleana since I like her design. I'll have an update in a few days I think discussing some ideas I've had! Take care of yourselves~
Version with wieners~
I've really enjoyed exploring the pkmn universe so far I hope to get more out very soon!
Hey guys.
I want to talk about what's going on in the world and where I've been during it.
As it is abundantly clear now for most of you, there is a goddamn pandemic running around. I've been following this closely since mid Jan and as time went on it began very clear to me that this was going to balloon out of control.
I spent the next month or so prepping and obsessively following the news because the fear and anxiety of this thing gripped me. It's hard to say if I've been anxious, depressed, panicked or obsessed. Unfortunately it has affected my updates to you. I want you to know I feel terrible about letting you guys down.
I feel now that I'm slowly turning the corner emotionally and can sit myself down now and focus on producing art. Due to the prolonged nature of the shutdowns for many of you, I am going to change my payment options to monthly instead of per update to reduce the financial load for those you wish to support me. You will need to re pledge under these new tiers once I go live with this new format!
Ultimately, as much as I rely financially on your support, I feel it is more important that all of you consider yourselves and your families first. As much as it will hurt me to ask you to do this I think it is worth considering unpledging to me and many content creators if you are living paycheck to paycheck to ensure you are feeding yourself and loved ones and paying rent and utilities.
Unfortunately, I truly believe this issue will last until December. Please take care of yourselves.
One more multi post for the month!
Hey guys.
I want to apologize for being quiet this whole month. A combination of boxing and cleaning the whole house for a move has just wrecked my schedule and free time. Additionally, constant, near daily appointments and various tasks including prepping for Corona Virus since I'm in Japan, have swallowed up every free moment of my time. Thankfully, got updates in!
New miniseries!
Really enjoyed making this one!
I'll be getting the Tsareena images colored up and part of a simple pokemon data sheet next week!
Hey guys. Sorry for the long wait. I'm in the middle of a big move so things are a bit hard to balance at the moment. Getting into the groove of the new stuff I want to do so things are a little scrambled right now.
Going to find my feet soon so hang in there!
Heya all, been in the midst of working through new ideas and new driection, also been doing a lot of personal stuff since I'm moving. I'll be catching up to these updates now as I've gotten a lot out of the way!
I had this sketch in the backlog and I decided to pick it up and try new inking and coloring style. Sorry about the big balloon tits for those who don't like that sorta of thing but I got to admit drawing various sizes even int he extreme is more enjoyable for me then stickign to the same size over and over.
This is the last page. For now.
Now I know the whole, just a dream thing can be frustrating for some. Count me as one of them. That said I really wanted to leave this series in a spot where the action was already in full swing so if i picked it up again I wouldn't have to establish anything and could dive right back in to the porn.
That said I feel the prolonged hallucination does expose some emotional aspects of Judy's psyche further moving the concept of the story along without it being all for not. Hopefully with that explenation you'll forgive me if this specific ending isn't satisfactory.
Thanks for supporting these comics so far. It really is amazing you guys are here to help make this comic happen!
Moving onto new things this week, I'll be dropping in with an update soon.
Got a good flow now for aniting both tweens and tradtional style frames together. Second animation needs more work. I'll be trying to composite these into a good colorful scene and release this to you guys soon then explore more of this stuff with more lewd content.
I wanted to try offering animations to patrons soon and I was working on some motions tests to get the basic shapes down then working on top of them to do hand drawn style. I'll try to get na update of the progress so far soon.
Was trying something new with shading this one. Just different effects and approach with shading.
I really like how this character came out. Cute hair and nice figure. I may draw more of her!
Hey guys! I just went through my entire Patreon and cleaned up a bunch of posts. I realized a lot of the older posts from around 2014~2015 had weird compression on the images, so I deleted most of those really old posts and plan to re-release content using Patreon's new gallery system. I think it will be a good way to keep track and read completed series of comics, that I can then link in a masterpost here soon once I get my files organized!
So look forward to organized posts containing older completed comics here within the next few weeks/days.
I have also taken time to clean up the tag system so things are a bit more easier to find and there aren't a million useless tags everywhere. I even went through old posts and added tags that were missing.
Thank you all for your support as always! Have a happy holidays!
Hey guys! Sorry for the delay. I was about to post these next to pages a few days agao when I realized there was some continuity and story issues. I had to go back and edit a bunch of stuff and fix some of the art and etc...
Should be 2 more update sbefore the end of the month.
I decided to make variants of momtopus for patrons. Judy comic going up later today!
In the next week I'll be sorting how the patreons looks and creatings tags and master lists to help with finding what is needed. Hopefully I won't break too many things during this time.
Got me some calamris and Mai. Was jsut getitng some old sketches finished,
Thanks for supporting so far. Hope you enjoy this weeks update!
Hey all. After reviewing comments and taking into consideration multiple responses on what seemed like the most common requests; I'm considering doing the following.
Each update will contain:
1 Zootopia pinup featuring Judy and other characters.
1 Comic pages built around one of the following things
Since the Judy comic is ending soon I'd like to hear from the supporters if you have any suggestions of what I should do next. New things I haven't done and older content I did you loved!
Thanks!
Drew a few doodles of melony. She's got some pretty good shapes!
If you're interested in only getting the patreon feed and aren't interested in high res images consider using this option!
Hey guys starting up Judy once more for the final part of chapter 3. Hope ya'll enjoy the finale!
More illustrations for now but looking to get back into the comic soon!
Wanna see her nude or clothed?
Don't forget to check out the funder: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sweet-sting-comic-physical-print-run#/
Getting in one more Judy post for the month :)

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sweet-sting-comic-physical-print-run#/
Besides the book there's new Judy merch if you're interested in supporting for those!
A bit of delay between last update. I've taken a bit of a break the last few weaks to give myself a chance to refresh from drawing. Got in the mood to draw some more Judy. Hope yall enjoy it!
Thanks for waiting. A bit of a rough week for me. More drawings to come for this week!
Another entry from my FILF (Futa's I'd like to Fuck) series!
Posting new tutorial and including older ones for those who missed the previous versions of this series!
I sketched and colored a bunch more of these! Hope it tickles some of yah.
I've been exploring more femboy stuff recently. I really enjoyed how this one came out. Hope you do too!
Hey guys! I've been teasing at this for awhile and wanted to start sharing some of the work I've been doing. I've been poking around with various doodles and I want to explore doing more of this style of content. Femboys, Futa's and Milf stuff. I think it's one of those things I miss seeing well drawn from other artist and rare to find. Plus it's pretty sexy stuff. IF YOU ASK ME. So as the part 1 of chapter 3 of Honey Pot ends in the next few updates I'll be switching to this sort of content and tutorials.
Artist's log Jul25th
Hello once again! Please enjoy the next updates.
Artist Log July15
Morning or night or hello, whatever time it is where you are! Two more pages from Judy comic coming your way! The first part of part 3 is going to be ending soon and I'm scrambling for an interim story to do after this that will give me some time to distance to refresh myself and the art. Thanks again as always for supporting me and this comic!
I know I know! I keep being told "Milf?! that's not Milf!".
Listen. When I say milf, what I meen is hoop earings, big tits and mom hair. Give me a break ok?!
But yeah, I really enjoyed the playful shapes of this image. Something I find myself doing a lot less of lately. It's hard to put your finger on exactly what is needed to keep your mind interested in what your doing when it comes to art. You can get bored quickly and that's pretty much a inspiration killer right there.
I had drawn this before but had also made a variant some time ago. Well variant is done!
I think it came out pretty cute!
Hey guys. Hope you're all doing well. I have to say I wasn't too confident about how this page would come out but by the time I was done I was pretty happy with it. It's hard to gauge what pages will satisfy you and which ones won't sometimes!
Actually missed posting a page of extra sex so this would be 23 and the previous page would be 24
Hey all! Hope your enjoying the comic! The first part of the Judy comic is nearing it's end, and I'll be taking a break from it to focus on tutorials and pinups for a little while. The break may be a little longish (maybe 3-4 months) as I need some time away from the Judy comic to refresh myself.
In the meantime I'll be focusing on exploring various human characters I've wanted to draw and making and reviewing some tutorials!
Hello friends. Thank for waiting this month for the updates. I managed to finally push through a bit of an art wall and got 5 pages inked and the first page colored and finished! Thanks for hanging in there and waiting patiently!
I am also considering moving to a monthly payment schedule to make things simpler for me and everyone else as far as updating schedules go. I'll let you guys know when I move further on that.
Finished up the image set! full images attached, Hi rez will be sent out with the other rewards for May
Wanted to squeeze this in for the last day in May but will finish up this weekend instead :)
Simple and elegant :)
Also, sorry guys for the small delay in content, I was busy catching up with other unrelated work, I do however, have 3 pages and more pinups to come in the following days!
Thanks as always for your patience
Hey guys! Here's another update before the end of the month. As always, a second image will be posted to go with this soon. Things are getting pretty hardcore from this point on. Hope you all had a great April. Enjoy!
Hey guys. Put this together from the previous image set I was making. I decided it would be cute to do an after dark image for her outfit and added a mixed outfit version as well.
Hey, I've just recently started compiling and releasing older Patreon monthly collections.
For those interested in purchasing this one I have made a special discount code for the April 2015 set. Use code "Patreon50" here https://www.e-junkie.com/i/wa06?card
If you support at the Great Demoness level, you will receive the product at the end of the month after billing completes for free.
Alts in the attachments!
Now we're getting somewhere :)
decided to make a sfw and alt ver. of this page :)
Got alts in the attachments!
Artist log No.12
Hey guys! Sorry little late with the second part of the update. I have a armpit tutorial done but I wanted to do a second part so that will be coming up in a day or two. This week will be a page and a pinup!
Artist Log No.11
Hello all once again. This week will feature one page and a new tutorial. The comics ramping up to the good stuff so I need to sit down and plan out that section a little bit to make sure I get the best bang for the buck. I've been having a bit of a rougher week than usual inking as my patience for it comes and goes. It's just one of those things you don't always have control over. Once I get over the hump iโll Ink out a new stream of pages. For now I need to focus on sketching the next set of pages and make sure I do a decent job of it! Thanks again for supporting! Take care
Artist Log: 11
Hello all. I hope you are all doing well. Please enjoy the next 2 pages of Honey Pot! (2nd coming soon) I've added some extra stuff in the Platinum tier including my current Sai1 Brushes and Additional PSDs for unreleased projects. Next week will be a tutorial and 1 Judy page! Thanks again and take care.
Late Artist log:
Hey guys how ya'll doing. As you can see the new Judy series has started. I'm getting a bit ahead on the inks for this comic. For this comic I also want to be a bit more adventurous and hardcore than before but I don't want to scare off a bunch of you. My solution is to create a sort of choose your own adventure option to the stories allowing some of you to skip past some elements that may be TOO much for you. Also looking forward to working on more tutorials.
I'd like to build a good solid back log of content for you guys so I'm in a good healthy place. I'm also still interested in drawing humans as well, so I'm trying to think of a series I can sketch out ideas for along side. I'll let you guys know more when I can puzzle out my thoughts a little more.
Starting with Judy part three I am going to focus on two updates a week; one Judy page and one tutorial. I'll focus on doing more tutorials or more Judie's based on how Iโm feeling. I feel this will be a good constructive mix for myself. That being said, Judy will be done in two, maybe three, parts with a break every now and then to keep me fresh. As always, thanks for supporting.
I decided to explore some previous things I was doing with the patreon. So this update is a bit of a hodge podge mix of things I used to draw. I think doing tutorial really helped me to sort out my thoughts so I'm tempted to start these up again if not for my own benefit. I've also been fiddling with starting up Judy comic again. I think I had a good vibe with her and I sort of miss having a good solid thing to build on top of. Anyway hope you'll enjoy this weeks update.
gotta scene in the attachments :)
EDIT* Just updating this post with the artist log for the week:
JAN25th
Starting to explore more this concept I did a multi scene shot of the final encounter with the goombas and sketched out the next comic as well. Been spending more time plotting out my thoughts instead of sorta running around like a headless chicken. Writing down all my goals and tasks on 3x5 note cards to lasso the insanity that is my scattered mind lately. It is surprising the amount of stuff that buzzes around your mind taking up space when you aren't keeping tabs on it.
Taking some of your suggestions I decided to focus on finding what seemed the most fun and to worry less about other stuff so I put together a comic idea I had for while involving peach and daisy dressing up as shy girls and boinking a bunch of the mushroom kingdom creatures. I decided to approach this with my cuter style and focus on expressions and fun shapes. I have part 2 and 3 lined up for this comic series as things get more depraved but I'll be sort of maintaining this cute style as I really enjoy drawing in it. Thanks again for all the support, it means a lot and it's really kept me on my feet these past few years. Really means a lot!
Okay, so, Iโm a little behind on my plans for current projects, and I apologize for that! I spent a lot more time than anticipated just organizing and sorting out various tasks and thoughts so shit has been a little out of sync on the practical side of things. I'm seriously considering starting on something fresh! Something more... stimulating? I was initially excited for Trash bros but the steam blew right out of me. Itโs made me feel rather demotivated. I'm really looking to find what can work well for me but still be interesting to you guys and get myself in a good spot art wise because I seem to just be spinning my wheels right now...
On a brighter side, watch me unbox some anatomically correct, headless, fleshy doll things
Some PxD
Spent some time reworking my brush-set to be more friendly for painting. Spent some time watching a bunch of videos on youtube (proko and marco bucci mostly). Starting to get a bit more confident with the actual rendering but still feel I have a lot to wash out of my thick skull as far as bad coloring habits go. Been trying to look at things in more of a series of chunks instead of one long task. So basically I've been working on something until I'm annoyed then move on and come back to the thing the next day to help keep my mind fresh. Keeping up the daily reference copies to help improve hand eye coordination. Still feel really out of shape art wise. Will keep up to see where it goes. Moving forward I will need to do some more in depth studies which I'll share here.
This week I spent some time trying to tackle coloring and failing. I'll be reviewing some more tutorials and trying to get a better grasp on all of this. The most frustrating part is I can tell it sucks the whole way through but still not getting that helpful clue spark in my mind to help me get further along coloring wise. This week I'll be watching more coloring videos on Youtube, hopefully that helps.
To help me get back into the swing of things, Iโve decided to lean back on a technique I adopted a few years back when I first moved to Japan.
The goal back then was and still is now to find a comfort and ease to drawing I lost through the use of digital tools. With sketchpad and marker I pretty much copied everything I could copy to find some form of comfort. You see, if I had stopped sketching everything the process would have slowed down tremendously. So with that in mind I decided to re-indulge in the process. I'll be posting a few pages of this for you all to see.
After spending about half a day sketching and copying I found I had built a lot of comfort with each stroke and I was ready to re-explore my art with different inking styles, so I was able to make a bunch of sketches of Peach. After a day or so I felt I had explored some good directions, though the process still feels very slow. There are times I feel a sloppier style is better as it gets the idea across without focusing on the unimportant details.
So basically I copied a bunch of other artist I liked until I felt some form of comfort and ease and started drawing my own stuff building off of that momentum.
I also took the time to explore coloring a bit more so you'll find a full colored piece in there as well as the inks. Thanks for hanging in there with me and supporting me thus far.
Hey Guys, I made a video going more in depth with what's going on, i'd appreciate it if you'd give it a watch / listen
The gist of it is that i'm sorta hitting a wall with my art, and slogging through it can be rough and diminishes the quality of the final content.
I can't seem to eek out anything of quality this week so i'd like to focus this week on sketches\study and use that as an update.
Textfull and textless in the attached!
Got the texted and text free versions attached below :3
Hey all after a break i'm starting a new series based on the Smash Bro's i'm calling Trash Brothers. I'll be exploring the characters through various re-interpretations!
Just a zip with the full comic that was on the patreon feed
Hey guys. Judy is coming to an end, and as such, I will ATTEMPT a print run. We will see if it works out considering the source material.
Moving forward I will be moving more to some older works like Princess peach stuff and more humanoid art. So if you aren't interested in that sort of thing I apologize. Just giving a heads up.
As for comics. I am unsure at this point how to start. I'd like to get into pinups again and do more tutorials to help myself improve and you as well.
Let me know your thoughts.
This is your brain on drugs
no cum version in the attachments!
Sorry for delays again, japanese taxes man...
trying to get back into it
Those are some pretty entitled crime grunts :/
a third updat update coming tomorrow!
Oh Nicholas~
also don't mind the slight changes to my patreon page, it's temporary
Sorry for the delay again, had a rough start to the month
*edit
added the full page in the attachments, I don't know why it got shrunk down
Hey guys,
As you've probably seen from other creator posts today, Patreon messed with their credit card processing and a bunch of you may have gotten declined when you usually wouldn't be (it didn't affect paypal users) they're trying to fix things but if you don't see your pledge go through in the next few days you may have to contact you CC handler/ bank yourself
Really sorry but it's out of our control so we can only hope patreon fixes this best they can
as always, thanks for supporting my work!
Look, none of the logic talk, just accept natural anal lubrication
Magic mike fingers?
a ver. with an internal shot is in the attachments!
Hey everybody,
I intend to release content soon to allow for some time to get those last minute /upgraded pledges in!
As always, any and all support is great; it allows me to keep these packs up, and work on various projects!
It will not have escaped some of you, especially long time supporters of my recent erratic update schedule. Though having moved to a new house was one factor it does not excuse any of it so let me express myself in a way that better describes the reasons for that.
In the last year or so, a slow burning anxiety has built inside of me. This is something new. To those who've known me in person, they know I have no problems in crowds or expressing myself. What seems to have happened recently is an inward tuck away from all social interactions. It's not that I don't enjoy myself interacting and socializing, but there is definitely a double edged aspect to online interactions that leave you wide open to all sorts of emotional assaults. Which individually, are manageable, but as a whole become draining.
Why the anxiety crept in is due to a multitude of reasons. From overworking, school, perfectionism, finances and whatever else. Frankly it's unlike me and I'm really unhappy having to battle these sorts of things having mastered them earlier in life.
I would really much like to return to a consistent and regular schedule so I'm setting the 18th as my correction date and I will be updating regularly from then on. I will also return to my social platforms by then as well. Thanks for your patience on this matter and I apologize for having made this sort of thing worse by not communicating with you guys more consistently on this matter. I've become a guarded person over the years and I'd like to undo some of that.
Thanks for your time and patience.
P.S. I did NOT get my dick bit off by a pony because I took my wiener out at a petting zoo.
Hey everybody,

Need to review some things and resend files for the last week!
I made a cover for Sweet Sting Print. I'll be printing a black and white book right now for Kemoket. I will very soon fund a color print fund. More news will com soon!
Had some time down being sick and recuperating. Getting back in full force now!
Pg 15 finally done!
Thank for hanging in there. GOT MEGA SICK. Like whimpering in bed for a few days sick. I think I am mostly over it now!
Before some re-writes I had made this page and colored filled it. I figured I'd render it since it looked nice!
The current arch is about to end (inside the limo) so this scene won't happen.
Taking a 1 week break from Sweet sting to recharge mentally and ensure I don't take any shortcuts on the ideas I have. Will be focusing on princess stuff until then.
Been sick 5 days too so feeling extra rough.
Drew her in a cute tight suit cause she deserved a naughty outfit!
When I get the chance i'll throw an outfit on her!
Was fun to explore this coloring style.
I colored up some old design sketches of Mrs. Otterton I drew back when I was designing the character.
Mmmm strawberry creamsicle
Hey everybody,

As always, any and all support is great; it allows me to keep these packs up, and work on various projects!
I wanted to poll thoughts and opinions on the comic so far! Any thoughts or feelings\ ideas please let me know. I'd like to make this comic really erotic and dirty. :)
Judy finally into the mix. Let' see if she gets just as sloppy in the next few pages.
Hey everybody,

Charging Supporters tomorrow with second page. Enjoy Mrs. Otterton messy blowjobs.
Working on sloppy blowjob showdown. Colors coming tomorrow!
Had fun with this page. I've attached the cleaned up version as the main picture but if you are interested in the original idea I had for this page download the attached file appended with (special) wich needs a "gross" warning for some IMO.
I've changed the page 10 sketch to focus more on oral\ double blowjob idea I had before. Inking now! Sorry for delay.
New best girl? :O
*Okay guys, making a change to the feed from this month, gonna be posting pages at this resolution and sending the Hi-rez with the weekly content packs to those at the $3.50 tier and up

Sketching and inking the next two pages today!
Thinks are heating up :) Prepping downloadable files now!
Thanks for waiting. Page two coming very soon too. Next week the porn starts again!
Working on a print drive for the comic plus daki and keychains. These are the keychains!
Introducing slutty miss otter... First page being uploaded tomorrow. Hope the sketches give some insight on my work!
I'm torn between Judy getting sucked into more dark underbelly and having her explore\buy clothes on her own terms.
Let me know what you rather.
I had this idea that Judy would need to learn how to be slutty\trampy and overdo it at first before she figured out how to pull it off.
Was trying to focus more on color and less on shading to see how to balance both since I tend to indulge in shading too much. Hope it looks good?!
Extra files coming soon!
Hey everybody!
I intend to release content soon to allow for some time to get those last minute pledges/ upgraded pledges in!

Had a lot of fun drawing this one! Hope you guys like it too. I added a additional pre-effect version in case you like it better than the effect heavy one. I also tweaked the tummy and did a few fixes. ANYWAY. Hope yall had a good weekend!
Was having a bit of a tricky time how to symbolize internal thought but I feel black bubbles work good enough.

Hey guys thanks for the patience. Starting up part2 hopefully you guys enjoy what I have in store. I have some new ideas and fetishes I wanted to explore including clothing and bimbofication. I hope you guys enjoy what I have in store for you. I also want to offset the comic work by doing 1 pinup + comic a week alternating every other week. I'd like to explore images of Judy in nicely rendered pictures.
Anyway thanks for supporting this comic so far!
Starting the next part of Sweet Sting. I hope you guys enjoy it.
I'll still be exploring the style and coloring until I can settle on something I like :)
Figure i'd gauge you guys in giving direction here, What should be the focus from next week?
I do need a break from the Zootopia stuff (a month or two) but i'm willing to pick it back up then if interest is high
I you have suggestions other than what's on the poll, feel free to comment below
Decided to make this a chapter based story after posting lol, sorry for the reupload!
Altho I may do something else and revisit later rather than go straight into a chapter 2
and again, thanks for supporting!
There goes those rabbit mating instincts ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ
And here we are at the end, thanks to everyone for supporting!
Gonna see what i can start up next week
Last 2 pages planned and Sweet Sting is done, gotta think up the next project starting this month :)

As always, any and all support is great; it allows me to keep these packs up, and work on various projects!
Looks like they wont be introducing the fee's thanks to creators and patreons alike giving them many ,many reasons why this was a bad idea, hopefully not too much damage has already been done, back to business as usual I suppose
Hey guys, well in case you've been offline the last few days you've probably heard of the changes Patreon will be implementing on December 18th, they'll be charging 2.9% + a mandatory .35 cents on each pledge you make, which will apply per creation or monthly
$1 would be $1.38
$2 would be $2.40 etc, etc
I'd personally love to have more supporters rather than a bigger cut but this is how patreon chooses to go forward,
You can lookup more information and breakdowns of the sweeping changes, but that's the gist of it. It's pennies on the dollar, but it will be affecting us all still.
I'm grateful for the support I get from you guys and hope you can stick around, but can understand if some of you would rather not support the changes that will happen, Just a PSA so it doesn't come as a surprise.
-Onta

You're in too deep, deeper than the beads in yer butthole Judy, and they're all the way up there!
Hey everybody!
I intend to release content in the next two hours to allow for some time to get those last minute pledges/ upgraded pledges in!
As always, any and all support is great; it allows me to keep these packs up, and work on various projects!
Yeah... Lotsa butt stuff still. :| I've been rendering a bit differently to help accentuate the softness and shapes without worrying too much about lighting direction. I'm not being very consistent but I rather find the sweet spot for this then lock myself into a style that doesn't suit the subject.
Additional files will be uploaded as soon as videos are done compressing. Looking to have 3 comic updates this week if possible.
This was going to be page 14 but I decided last minute to add a bit of dialogue/character introduction so it's been pushed off a page.
Hey everybody!
I intend to release content in the next two hours to allow for some time to get those last minute pledges/ upgraded pledges in!

For those curious Page 9 is coming out today(ish) and so is this one in a few days!
oops, need to update the page a bit, will delete this later!
Alright this is out of the way I can get to coloring!
Refined sketch for Sweet Sting Page 5
For those of you who like the sketch process!
Yeah had to resend stuff for this month, was more distracted than usual
Cock drunk *looks at watch* in record time!
(No cum alt in the attachments)
It's been a few weeks. Been tackling some personal stuff still but things are looking brighter. I'm going to make some update changes.
Changing Comic
My energy to completed the Zodee comic has run out for now and instead of rushing it i'd rather have it sit a while. I'll be switching to a Zootopia based comic (sorry bout da furry! Ooops) You guys can handle it. I'd like to keep it nice and fun and colorful so i'll be pushing for simple layouts.
Thanks for understanding, sometimes you want to be pro about what you're doing but pushing through on something you have no energy for can prove hurt the product.
The Judy comic will start updating this week!
Woo, okay, another double down on comics.
The files for this week should be coming along today, I'm doing final preparation and compression at the moment.
Hey everyone,
Really sorry for the lack of content this week. I've had a whole slew of school work, convention prep and a few doctor's appointments sprinkled on top of it all.
None the less, I have been working on some content to release and I'm excited to get things back to normal. The Hazel release (for over at my game's Patreon,) is speeding right along โ pending some finishing touches relating to art, which you will all get to enjoy once I get some time to myself to push it out.
Anyways, expect updates to resume as per the norm this coming Monday, as that's when my school break begins โ and my time really opens up, since I won't have school tieing up six or seven hours of my day.
Thanks!
A final edition of this Doujin I'm printing now for Comiket.
Please check the attachments for the downloadable version.
ALRIGHT! Done these two pages. Thanks for your patience. Catchign up finally!
Sending out files now :)
Just wanted to finalize a comic page before I post the support tiers stuff. Will be a few more hours! Sorry!
(psd's and other source files, very big)
A little past the halfway point of this comic. Going to be a bit slower as I prep up some other works for Summer Comiket, Pace will drop to once a week while other works get updated/finished and posted here and prepped for printing.
Woof! Super sory guys for the delay getting back to school really reminds me I need to be on top of my game 100% of the time to make this all work. But finally got some traction and got last weeks comics done and this weeks almost done prepping next weeks now! Thanks again for all the support!
Sorry just a little delayed trying to get back on track. Getting a bit more Zooic ink done. I'll be sending files tnight the second I cna get 2 pages completed. Thanks for your support and patience!
Thanks for taking part in that short sidetrack. Back to Zodee comic!
Been wanting to try a more traditonal anime style for awhile. It's really weird for me to draw so cleanly. Thoughts?
Writing story elements and finalizing Various elements. Sending out art tonight at this level for supporters! Thanks for watch the process :)
Very lewd and very dirty. Cover is completed! Scheduling Print job now. Adding text tonight.
PHEW. Well it's all done to a certain level (inked) jus trneeds tone and text wich ill do in th emorning. This was a hell of a ride to pump out!
I went back to sketch phase and made some more lewd images for the doujin because I felt the original crop had too many samy pictures. I have to get back to the originals now!
Trying out a style to get the most of the sketches.
It's a bit "sketchy" so I may shift up the resolution to reduce the sketchyness though I do like it.
Refined these pages.
These came out nicer then expected. Sorry for all the large ass lady shapes haha. I know it's not all of yall's bag.
I wanted to share the sketches I made. I created these in REAL LIFE (TM) for the explicit reason that I knew I wouldnt over work theme. Since my strengths as an artist is working on top of somethign the goal was to just get something out there and work with what i created.
So this is a draw blast I did to try and see what I wanted to do with the doujin. I focused on ideas and shapes I liked and avoided spending too much time on the faces.
Initially I wanted to do a half and half human and anthro but I think I may go straight up anthro. Going to lock down about 12 images and go with those.
Story wise basically a "larger" version of frisk wearing identical clothing (think way too tight) shows up to give Toriel a run down.
Got limited time to do this so I need to power through these ideas while I have free time from school.
I hope you all enjoy the slowpoke (and everything else)
Thanks for your support!
I wanted to announce that I was accepted for both Ketsui (undertale convention) and Summer Comiket. DUE to these discoveries (It's never sure if you'll get a table or not) I'm going to STOP Zooic for now and shift over to DOUJIN work so I have stuff to sell. I do apologize for putting a full stop but time's really crunched over here and showing up at a con with no goods is bad form (and prevents you from getting in later).
I'll be updating my patreon with Doujins sketches/pages/ daki designs as I prepare myself for these 2 cons.
I will resume ZOOIC once the pressure is offe (should be be early august)
Definately feel Zo'dee should have a more monstery kind of yawn :) Hopefully it's clear, Andgi's hair is fucked now!
Hey everyone, here's a fresh tutorial -- focusing on the approach to drawing liquids/'goo' well.
This post also will serve as the paid post for this week, so keep an eye on your inboxes for the files.
As always, thanks for the support!
I know this thing looks like a portugese man-o-war and for all intents and purposes it is basically a space man-o-war. Which is the inspiration of the title.
This is probably the page that has the strongest line weight feel for me and definately the one I like the most so far. Feels good to hit it home sometimes!
Page Seven is here, as are the files for this week.
Thanks for your support!
I've always loved the idea of having various sexy nun garbs in a fantasy setting. Nunfucker wouldnt be so bad a title I guess.
I've attached the source psd for those curious about my process. ('ll be suprised I think!)
Hey guys,
Here's a tutorial forrrr lips! Goes from start to finish and some tips on how to avoid common mistakes.
Hope this helps you all out!

Hey everyone,
Page five of Zooic here for y'all, and I'm catching up on the video content that was still being worked on last week - if you're in that tier expect an email with a new link.
Tomorrow, I'll be releasing the files for this week (JPG, PSD, videos, etc,) but I wanted to keep the Patreon paid post's on schedule in the mean time.
Thanks for supporting!
Sorry about the previous pages (I screwed up on outfits for both andgi and zodee) i''ll update them in a bit when I fix them!
Here's Zooic page three, video content for this week will be coming along but for now there is a bit of a delay -- the rest of the weekly content is included, as per the norm.
Thanks for the support!
Going to make variation soon and maybe some dialogue! IF you've got any thought for dirty talk let me know here. I tried a more painty style with this I want to explore more color options and more complete looking art.
Been working on this for you guys. I'll be finished soon! Been wanting to get better at grotesque butt porn!
Well well. It's happening. Many false starts and concerns later I've decided to just run with this story and hope for the best. A total of around 24 pages. Running 2 pages a week. Hope ya'll like it!
Hey all,
Hope this tutorial helps some of you out, I know when I figured it out years ago it helped me streamline the process a bit.
Files are in final prep, keep your eyes on your inboxes!
Extra note here this week, but if you supported the Sweet Treat pack outside of Patreon, sorry for the mixup -- please fill out the following form if you'd like a refund on your pre-order:

Thanks!
End of chapter 1 of Jenny's mod!
Let me know if you liked this style of story tellin/comic!
Hey everyone,
Since I'm lacking on video content this week (I've been having computer issues,) I'm going to be tacking on all of March's videos, plus my Brush Pack for that level of support. I wanted to make sure I was compensating that level adequately.
Thanks!
p.s. Expect the paid post tomorrow, the 1st of May.
Getting in the swings of these and working on a template to help ease the process. This tutorial will problably have a part two and video to accompany it. It's frankly a hard topic to bridge and difficult to pull off on the spot too so It may need a few more passes to get it going.
Vids and Source comming in a bit! Thanks for the support all these years it means a lot!
Sharing sketches to all supporters. Chapter 3 of XJ9 comic comming very soon! Thanks for all the support so far yall seem to be really excigted about this series!
Slowly Jenni descends into madness as her new part get a good test run.
Exploring water color style lately and these where rather fun to make! Pg 3-4 comming in a few days so hang in there for more XJ9 fuckery.
When I started this I really wanted to capture the fun I had making the original drawings awhile back. The focus of this comic and the ones to come is to go more hardcore and lewd then I normally do. Hopefully I hit that mark as I turn XJ9 into a fuck dumpster...
High rez/psds will be sent to supporters during the next charge period.
Hello all hope you are doing well. I'm looking for ideas for tutorials and or videos to discuss about art or other things. Just yell out stuff you'd like to hear about. thanks!
Jenny's Mod is a 3 part short comic featuring XJ9. I will distribute here before it is posted on Shadbase.com a week or so later.
My Jenny comic is my foray into more hardcore depreaved porn so hopefully you'll enjoy it too!
If you'd like a real doujin from the far east please consider supporting. Digital copies too!
Check it out here! https://t.co/38FDnGqmTE
Been wanting to spend more and more time focusing on portraits and really cementing my faces since I feel they've been weak for so long. I really feel this sort of thing will bring me mor ejoy in drawing as faces are always one heck of a headache for me and they should feel more natural.
Hopefully over time my skills will adapt and I'll enjoy expressions and faces more!
I'm cramming today to get this out for Horseholic. A Yearly horsefocused comic doujin sold at comiket. I got sidtracked and overwroked and forgot the deadline but hopefully I can save it by getting it done today. I'll post what I can when I can.
Hey guys this is quick update with a cum version (check attachments for that one). I'm shifting all my comics to be patreon exclusive first. Releasing publicly in tandem with patreon hasn't worked out great and I'd rather focus on thos who are willing to support me right off the bat.
I'll be pushing my images here and i've swapped my account to adult.
I'm assembling the packs now and will be sending them out in a bit. Hope yall had a good weekend!
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to get a better sense of direction for my Patreon and I figure, who else is better to ask than all of you?
The top two choices in the poll will be the priorities, with the runner ups still being done -- but perhaps not as far up the chain.
Hello everyone,
I announced I made a Discord server of my own a little while ago, via Twitter -- after getting used to the program a bit, I've decided to integrate Patreon into my server as well!
Here's the link: https://discord.gg/SbSxMhs
Right now I have a private patron only channel operating, to allow easier communication between myself and all of you; you'll also get sneak peaks at stuff as I do them.
Hey everyone,
My latest tutorial is now up on YouTube!

Hey guys,
I'm running a little low on content this week since I've been really busy with my school load!
I'm going to take a couple extra days to prepare some more content, do you have any ideas for what video tutorials you'd like to see this week?
Yokai watch and stuff, Got some new Sexena linework this week ;)
As suggested by many of you. A video about shading muscles.
Prepping and sending files today.
Suggest a video for me here!
Another user suggested tutorial!
Hope this helps those who need it!
In case you missed it!

Hey guys it's been awhile. I'd like to answer some of your questions and perhaps lump all the questions in a yotube video. Let me know what you think I can help you with!
IS up go take a look!
This week there a ton of varying things including Groper Watch, Sexena art, Luvs 2 Cum and various character concept art.
The reveal!
I canโt promise riveting dialogue (nor have I ever promised that really). Enjoy the gross suck sounds. Got a bit more mouth fucking and some anal then public humiliation and we can callthis comic done.
ALSO if you havenโt had a chance to play my new game CYOA style game you can find it here.
Take care laddies.
Re -linking this page to external site.
Another re link. Sorry for spamming.
Reuploading some images as they needed to be external links.
For those of you following groper watch page 3 is ready and will go up probably tomorow.!
As I keep drawing these trying to get them done as fast as possible Iโm uncovering a few neat tricks to really squeeze maximum quality with the least amount of time. Iโm intentionally going kind of crazy with the faces here not trying to stick to any style and just going with what feels right. I find my best results tend to be when Iโm not too worried about consistency. Consistency is good but is often too strongly harped upon in the west. Iโm a fan ofart being off model or wacky so I rather push in this direction.
Well this is fucking page 2. Not much to say here just good ol dumb action leading to porn as always. I like howthe tits came out as I had no struggle with the shading this time. Sex after page 3. Oh fucking boy get those pricks ready boys.
Starting anew comic. Fucking Wat. Black and white manga style cause I got the heebie weebs real bad.
Iโll be attempting to deliver a better story all round this time hopefully it pans out. More dialogue then Iโm used to writing but that isnโt always a good thing. Iโve also been wanting to work harder on my screen tones and value work. I think there is quite a lot you can say with black and whites only and mastering those value will help crank out a page at a nice quality faster. The comic will run as 2 parts so I can have a breather in the middle and review the storyโs second part and make sure it comes out cleaner. I have a history of limping to the finish so hopefully 2 part will re-invigorate me and allow me to focus on a better ending.
Itโs been a long time coming as I started sketching this fucking thing in 2015, wanting to quit it a few times but figured at this point it wasnโt worth trashing all the hard work.
Hope yaโll enjoy it
A spur of the moment comic. Looking to see how fast I can pump out a nice colored comic if iโm not to concerned aboutconsistency (lol oh me). I asked the picarto streamfor dumb overwatch comic ideas and I actually liked a few.
As for playing Overwatch, I have played a bit but I am frankly so busy with learningJapanese and maintaining my business that things have been a bit tricky to balance it all so games got the boot for now.
Tutorial and VIDs will be a bit delayed, but I'm gonna send out the JPGs and PSDs now.
Sketching Observations
Iโverecently gotten into traditional after years of neglect. Iโve always been very digitally driven because of certain limitations. Some of that was warranted like postural issues and fatigue. The avoidance was mostlydue to the abysmal results traditional brought me compared to digital which has mostly been due to anxiety and other emotional aspects. Upon the insistence of another artist who themselves have achieved quite goodresults and consistent traditional results, I spent some time these past 2 months drawing traditionally. Here are some of the things I learned.
1.Itโs gonna suck, regardless of how hard you try, how slow or fast you go, how good your pencil or pen is. There will be a skill mismatch between your expectations and your output.
2.You will improve. Regardless of how much you think you wonโt. It wonโt be immediate but you will see improvements within the month.
3.Plow through a sketchbook. Reference art you like if you have no ideas.Fill each page. Keep your vanity and ego out of it. The goal is to justget it filled up and having your arm moving.
4.Every so often make a point to make a completed piece as nice as possible. This will test your level of skill and put into practice what youโve picked up so far. It will also help you gauge how steady and reliable your lines are.
5.It can take up to an hour to get into the right feel of things both mentally and physically so consider the first hour as preparation For the big show.
6.The benefit of sketchbooks is its sequential nature. You will be able to look back a few weeks and see where you where and where you are currently. You can also see where you were going in the right direction and when you were losing sight of your goals. Plus sketchbooks can be pretty cheap if you nab em at the dollar store.
7.Instead of faving/saving/etc, the art you like, put them in a tab. Collect a bunch. Copy and reference those images then close those tabs. If you want to do a more in depth study save it for later. Mind you, youknow as well as I do that saving/faving has a placebo effect of making you think you absorbed what you see. Make it a point to draw (even if it's just a small part you like) every single image you like so as to get an intimate understanding of the image.
8.Mix it up. Keep it varied with subject matter, style, artist, photo reference and so on. Youโre looking to strengthen and broaden your understanding, not getting yourself locked into a style that doesnโt allow you to feel any comfort.
9.Learn to see the whole image as an equal series of shapes and lines. The hardest part for me was getting over the hand and face hurdle wheremy results would dip dramatically due to 2 reasons; First, I wasnโt drawing them as much, and secondly I wasnโt draw them as much due to theanxiety of not drawing them as much (duh). This is a downward self reinforcing spiral. To improve upon this I decided to reinforce my belief that I could easily draw faces and hands just as easily as any other part of the body by asserting that photos and illustrations are all made out of the same things; Lines, shapes, contrast and values.
10.Tools are important. Youโll hear over and over that you should โas an artistโ be able to use anything and get good results, but the truth is art is subjective and sometimes very finicky. If tools didnโt matter arts stores would have only 1 brush. I would say spend at least a few days with a dozen or so tools youโre interested in. Try the ones other artists suggest and try some you are personally interested in. My personal preference is a large 2B pencil and the only reason is because Itried it out for myself. This is a tool Iโve become accustomed to usingdue to ample usage, as well as being pleased with its results on my artwork. You must make your own decision which tool works for you on similar criteria. Do you like how it looks and do you like using it.
11.Donโt make any assumptions on how you should draw. DO exactly what you want. Itโs your time and your hobby, enjoy it in the way you choose.
12.Ditch the eraser for now. I think erasers are great for final results, but relying on them means never getting to new strokes youโd never considered. Get past erasing for at least 4-5 months and just commit to your lines and deal with the flaws. Doing this will both strengthen yourresolve to place better lines in the first place and ensure you donโt blow a ton of time fixing an unimportant detail not worth fussing over.
13.Learn to draw at different levels of pressure. Light drawing gives a completely different feel than hard drawing. I wonโt argue one is betterthan the other.
14.Remember keep drawing. You may not always have ideas, so keep a bank ofimages for ideas or inspiration as reference. Itโs about doing it.
15.Eventually youโll find something you feel very comfortable doing and youโll exploit that as human tend to go in the direction of least pressure. Resist the urge. You can find something else you like drawing than just โCute Anime Girlโ. Indulge in it at first until you find a comfort and ease in doing so. Once there itโs time to shift gears and find something else to mildly challenge yourself with. Keep that motivation going but also keep yourself on your toes with what you are drawing. Every part of the drawing should be accessible and you shouldnโt have blind spots. Meaning, you shouldnโt be able to draw 90% of a drawing and inexplicably be unable to complete some small componentof it. If this is something you encounter you need to focus a bit more on tackling what you're having problems with. You wonโt be able to always do it with brute force either, ie: drawing it a lot. You will need to attempt to correct how you approach it mentally by altering yourperception or creating simple guides or methods for deciphering those hard to draw things.
Thanks and I hope this helps those of you looking into getting on track with traditional drawings.

I've added my copy sketches incase some of you are curious to see my practice my traditional with reference copies.
I have altered my Patreon to accurately present what I am able to offer from week to week. Between moving and school, August has been a bit of a crap shoot. I will be sending a update in about 8 hours so ensure you are comfortable with the new terms (aka, only weekly drawings + some ideas, thoughts from time to time). Comics will still be produced thanks to your support so no worries on that end.
I've added a previous month as an addon!
As some of you may know. I am in Japan and have been since Christmas. Japanese Language School has started and juggling the patreon rewards has been trickier then anticipated. Almost 3 hours out of my day is dedicated to travel on top of the 5 hour classes. I was hoping it wouldn't effect my output but it's just mentally drained me. I feel the only thing I can comfortably offer each week is my art packs and my comics and possibly some tut/reviews from time to time. But coming up with a tutorial weekly is draining and getting harder and harder as my free time to poke around with ideas is gobbled up. I will be changing my patreon to reflect the change in a few hours. Thanks for being a supporter for so long!
Due to some nintendo nonsense with peach I'm shifting over back to comics each week!

Hey guys sorry for having missed last week. I've been prepping for Langiage School so things are a bit tight. Tutorial and vids in the morning. Thanks for being patient!
Why do it!
1) Reduced Eye Strain. With a 80% - 90% black background and pastel colors (avoid pure white and black) you can significantly reduce eye strain and other issues related to looking at a bright monitor for long periods of time. This is the same color scheme coders use to reduce eye strain.
2) It'sPleasant. It can be as simple as a subtle paper texture or thick corrugated cardboard. As for colors anything pastel-y works, but don't let me tel you what to use! I prefer a de-saturated green similar to that of a chalkboard. Most chalkboards have switched to green due to this reason (to chalk boards still exist?!).
3) Keepin it Sketchy! If you tend to over render your sketch using a negative approach could help. White on dark grey can help you keep things strictly in sketch mode as it is very hard to get any details or shading in before the drawing looks weird. Hatching shadows or over rendering eyes becomes very odd and you'll naturally avoid it. Keep your sketch on a layer above you background, this way when you are ready to refine you can change the background to white and decrease the value of the line-art till it is visible on white.
4) Change of perspective. It's good to explore and change thing sup. It can often give you brand new look on something.Give it a chance and maybe you'll see your art improve!
Sort of!
I drew one in the same pose but hated it.

MAKING NEW USER SUGGESTION GO HERE.https://www.patreon.com/posts/5752334
As cliche as this sounds one of the biggest hurdles you'll ever deal with is yourself.
"I HAVE to be able to draw this with the tools other professionals use."
"I shouldn't use reference or guides because I should know this by heart."
"I shouldn't color pick, trace, or rely too heavily on photos or reference, that's a crutch."
"My reasons for drawing and improving are altruistic and cannot fill with joy or provide me with wealth."
Do any of these sound like you? Chances are most of you make decisions based on assumptions. You need to stop that now and here is why.
Results.
If you consider yourself an artist you most undoubtedly have a million ideas, jokes or a million poses to draw. You aren't going to get through any of that worrying about how you think others are doing it.
Truth time! In every major professional artistic field, talented highly regarded artist use reference, trace photos, color pick photos, cover mistakes with gloss and generally do whatever it takes to get the results they want.
Here are some examples of things I know are done in every field. These are people in top positions at companies or considered very skilled and talented.
Concept art
Photobashing - Literally hacking photos together and painting on top. You would think this is kept for the concept phase but some of this stuff makes it to game covers.
3D Paintover - Making a limited 3d model and painting over it to achieve good results. Especially helpful if you have Ambient occlusion and proper lighting.
Color Picking Photos - Believe it or not the majority of your favorite concept artist owe a lot of their presentation and skill to a skillful photographer. You will never hear of these photographers because how most concept artists use photographs for color and light referencing is kept separate enough from the source to never really put a finger on it.
Color Picking Art - Same shit different pile.
Comics & Manga
Inking - No. Dip pens and Brushes aren't king. Many many artist use other mediums. Harsh black lines where once needed for limited black and white printing process but are no longer needed. Find the way you like presenting a comic the most and just do it like that. Blade of Immortal for instance used pencils and wash. The comic "Please Tell me Galko Chan" uses markers. Stop thinking about how you think you should be offering your final results and just go for the one you like the most.
Traditional VS Digital - Just use whichever you like, or both. Some folks print out blue line sketches from digital sketching and ink traditionally then scan it back in. Others draw each panel on its own 8x11 page, scan and assemble. These are tools for your results. Nothing more.
Script & Thumbnails - Some people like a good hard script and others like a loose outline developing dialogue while drawing. How you tell a visual story is up to you and what works best but you'll only find comfort with effort, experimenting and practice.
Photo Tracing - Top artist trace photos. Photo's they usually take themselves. Manga is HUGE on this. Inio Asano (Solanin, Dedede Destruction) throws photo's into high contrast, prints that out and reworks them to feel inked. The final result gives a near realistic feeling with some ink grit to it. A lot of background work is lightboxed.
Assistants - Big comics are made by many people. Weekly manga, same deal. Needing help is not shameful nor is it "wrong" or "cheating". You are working toward results. That is what matters.
And many more...
I haven't even really covered general concepts like creating face guides to remind yourself what your characters look like, (I should know them by heart!) or even just using figurines for poses (I should know them by heart!).
Keep in mind every single time you prevent yourself from getting results and remind yourself that only YOU are privy to the magic behind the scenes. Just because you use tools and tricks that seem less magical for your end doesn't mean you aren't creating something people truly love and cherish!
Thanks for reading!
Learning to copy a reference image is probably the most important thing you can learn and it should be something you learn to do if you are interested in dramatically improving.
First let me just say this as concisely as possible. If you cannot copy another image/photo faithfully, what chance do you have of giving your own concepts and ideas any justice. If you cannot copy a face and get the proportions right how will you be able to visualize one in your head and do the same.
Copying is easier then drawing from scratch. You can make observations and comparisons. It's less draining emotionally and physically. Overall its the perfect way of knowing how well you handle your pencil.
I'm not saying here that you must faithfully reproduce and image to be do this well but you must be able to capture the essence of a drawing/photograph with no anxiety or frustration. This will transfer into your art as you gain confidence in your individual strokes as well as gathering innate knowledge on anatomy, facial relationships and various other shapes and concepts.
As someone whose dipped in and out of this and finally put hand to the grindstone its clear to me ignoring this for as long as I did as a core part of my learning was a mistake on my part.
Here is my suggestion if you want to see some serious improvements in your hand control and line confidence. Every image you save or fave on those social sites you frequent you need to consider those drawings to tackle. Your goal is to absorb something from them, not just save or fave em for later. Save em in a folder or throw them in tabs. Tackle them DAILY. I MEAN THIS. Your job is to clear this queue. Cram your line art on a page in a sketch pad. Just pound through all the parts of drawing you like or focus on things you week with.
What I was struggling with a lot was the fact that hands and face caused me so much anxiety, even when copying. It felt like a serious mental block. I broke slowly out of this fear by repeating this mantra.
"The lines in the hands and face are no different then the lines for the rest of the body"
As I had no problem drawing folds, clothing, anatomy, details and etc... This mantra really helped me get over this anxiety I had when dealing with these 2 subjects. Each line is just a line, there is nothing special about them no matter where they sit.
Finally, improving at drawing ends up just being a lot of drawing. Sometimes it's good to just POUND through drawings and not worry about thinking. Copying your favorite works as references allows you to experience the process of drawing something over and over and truly get through the motions of what it takes and where to start.
Give it a try and let me know!
It'll take about 1-2 months of constant drawing before you see some serious results so hang in there!
Tutorial and files in a about 12 hours as things are takign a while to compress and upload!
Enjoy a spider gwen in the mean time.
Hey guys sorry i'm a bit late this I was having a hard time with suggestions (spider gwen) and tried D.VA. I'll be sending files out slowly today as well as the tut! Thanks for hanging in there.

Had a rough week getting art done for Kemoket but will have tutorial in the next day thanks for waiting!
Hey guys sorry for the delay on this one I had a few ideas I didn't like in the end and I came across this idea since I use it often lately! Hope it helps!
Full size version and variations being sent in the next hour or so! Tutorial in 10 hours (getting late here).
I had a hard time explaining this if you have any questions please ask!
File sent!
1) I will be doing a weekly drawing as per the 1000 reward and taking your suggestions.
2) Update being sent out tonight. Moving forward updates will be hitting Sundays consistently each week.
3) I've been in japan for a few months now and also been thinking and working through my options. I've been offered a monthly comic with Image but also talking to FAKKU about exclusive digital comics and print later down the line. There's a lot happening and though it seems quiet i'm spending a lot of time thinking and considering my next steps. Depending on my choices I can share more or less with you guys so how much I can share with Patreon supporters is a serious part of my negotiations.
4) I've been sort of dormant and I think that has to do a lot with my over working for a few years. I've had my down time now and I feel I'm ready to push on a whole new set of goals. Big things in the works and thanks to you I can keep doing this stuff and keep growing as an artist.
5) I want to interact more socially through youtube and on my site (and here) so I'll be figuring out the best most comfortable way to do that!
Thanks again and here is hoping or the best!
UPDATE BEING SENT IN A FEW HOURS THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE!!!

I will weigh Platinum supporters first. If I find nothing of interest I will look through Gold supporters next.
Iโve recently gotten into traditional after years of neglect. Iโve always been very digitally driven because of certain limitations. Some of that was warranted like postural issues and fatigue. The avoidance was mostly due to the abysmal results traditional brought me compared to digital which has mostly been due to anxiety and other emotional aspects. Upon the insistence of another artist who themselves have achieved quite good results and consistent traditional results, I spent some time these past 2 months drawing traditionally. Here are some of the things I learned.
Itโs gonna suck, regardless of how hard you try, how slow or fast you go, how good your pencil or pen is. There will be a skill mismatch between your expectations and your output.
You will improve. Regardless of how much you think you wonโt. It wonโt be immediate but you will see improvements within the month.
Plow through a sketchbook. Reference art you like if you have no ideas. Fill each page. Keep your vanity and ego out of it. The goal is to just get it filled up and having your arm moving.
Every so often make a point to make a completed piece as nice as possible. This will test your level of skill and put into practice what youโve picked up so far. It will also help you gauge how steady and reliable your lines are.
It can take up to an hour to get into the right feel of things both mentally and physically so consider the first hour as preparation For the big show.
The benefit of sketchbooks is its sequential nature. You will be able to look back a few weeks and see where you where and where you are currently. Make it a point to draw (even if it's just a small part you like) every single image you like so as to get an intimate understanding of the image.
Mix it up. Keep it varied with subject matter, style, artist, photo reference and so on. Youโre looking to strengthen and broaden your understanding, not getting yourself locked into a style that doesnโt allow you to feel any comfort.
Learn to see the whole image as an equal series of shapes and lines. Tutorial is going up tomorrow!
*Edit* New link with the sketch included!
This weeks update is about committing to art. Tutorials and how-to's are fine if you've got the drive but as most of you know it's not something that comes easily. So let me break what I know of it down into sections.
Inspiration
Most people confuse inspiration with motivation. They are quite separate! That said inspiration has its place but is unfortunately a double edged sword as time dwindles so does your inspiration. Though it can be VERY strong at first It can often dwindle.
That being said if you are inspired do not snub your nose at it. There are times you will not really get to chose WHAT inspires you and you may even hate the subject at first. I know this seems crazy but it's very possible. Inspiration come infrequently so closing the door on something your not initially fond of could hate you down the line as you meander with no clear vision. Art can often feel like your riding different waves of inspiration, picking up a new one when the other one trails off.
To help ensure you in a good spot with inspiration, make sure to probably organize things that inspire you and to maintain your connection to your muses.
Motivation
Essentially revolves around your desire and willingness to do something. This isn't necessarily attached to inspiration but can seem similar. You can be inspired as all hell and have zero motivation to do anything with that inspiration. Motivation is the soft dough-boy cousin of Discipline. If you are new to getting art done, harnessing and maintaining your motivation will be your something you will develop over time and will be much easier when your inspired or like the subject matter.
Fact is though motivation can only get you so far and it could be sufficient for most people. When you drive your art forward based solely on your willingness to draw you can have wild erratic growth as you only tackle those things you are willing to tackle.
Discipline
This is the one you earn tooth and nail and let me tell you it can be brutal. It's definition is LITERALLY the opposite of fun. You are literally doing things you may hate doing or know you MUST do to get other things. Studying for subjects you hate often needs discipline. If you don't have deadlines, classes, or teachers and only have yourself to deal with it can be near impossible.
Let me say this. As a person who USED to be exceptionally lazy and undisciplined YOU CAN earn this trait and it will be tough. It works a lot like muscle building. You can't just do a bunch of weights and call it quits waiting for muscles. You must commit to doing this and earn and keep your growth and focus.
Each time you make an excuse for not doing something you need to do to earn something greater, the weaker your grasp on what discipline truly is.
Distractions
You are going to have to learn to play some games with yourself because regardless of how much you FEEL you should just be able to ignore distractions you simply cannot. You may have to make GREAT sacrifices. You may have to get rid of games, chairs, sofas, tv, steam, etc... You may have to wage psychological warfare on yourself.
Here are some of the things I've done to reduce distractions and improve output.
1) No TV or Couch or living room setting. I simply do not have a place to lounge so I don't. I've replace it with walks and 20 minute time naps (PLEASE time your naps to 25 minutes tops trust me)
2) Pomodoro / 25 minute unbroken work cycles. Do yourself a favor and read on pomodoro. You don't have to follow it strictly but the most important part is ensuring you do 25 minutes of unbroken work with zero distractions.
3) Decide what your doing at your computer BEFORE you sit down. If you cannot write down some tasks before you sit down you already know you are going to blow your time surfing and other crap. Commit to tasks BEFORE you put yourself in the distraction hot seat (computer).
4) Skype, Phone notifications as minimal as possible. My phone is on flash and my skype is on taskbar notification only. There is nothing more destructive to work then having your concentration broken ever 2 minutes. Work on this. It's important.
Goals
It's kind of silly but this is super important. Without a milestone or a goalpost it's quite hard to judge your progress and it can sometimes feel your just meandering through art with no real purpose. This can kick your motivation in the ass and just ruin you. Make small goals first and learn to achieve those before you make larger ones.
Creativity & Vision
This is sort of important depending on the TYPE of artist you are. But if you are a non-technical artist and want to create what doesn't already exist it's important to really think about that. I feel that my best work involve bringing to life things in my head I have never seen anyone else attempt the way I am. I think it's worth thinking about this and really asking yourself what do you want to see come to life.
Time
I'm sorry to say this but drawing... Takes time. Some people out there they draw 4 years and are just fucking amazing. Some take 40 years to make significant progress. Most of us are in the middle. You are looking at 10 years of commitment before you are anywhere close to being very confident with your art. That's a long goddamn time and you may say "hey this guy took 2". Well that's fine but that guy ain't you. Art takes time. Plain and simple. Learn to accept that time is an important part of learning and improving and won't feel so bad about it. Learn as best you can the way that benefits you best.
Joy
I ignored this one for a long time, due to this it's been somewhat hard for me to earn joy in drawing. I'd love it if every-time i drew my head spun from endorphins racing through my brain. For some people it does. For other it doesn't. I feel that it's worth attempting to find something specific that make you feel that joy. It will make the process of improving and learning easier and you will stick to art much longer.
Competition & Comparison
This is a biggie. Without getting too involved in this let's just say this; Competitiveness can be both the worst and best thing for you and how exactly it can be good or bad isn't something that can be controlled or predicted.
Most of you are going to compare yourselves I can't stop that. I would say if you are going to do it, compare yourself with people who are near you level. This can be a lot more positive then comparing yourself with the most talented artists in the world. The disparity is so wide that there is no connection to be made. You will destroy yourself with those standards. Your best case is to find someone to have a bit of friendly competition with at a similar level to you.
It can also help to follow people who do things much different then you but they do those things well. There are many artists who draw a style I don't want for myself but do things in a certain way. You can both improve without crossing over on the style or look or end result you both want.
Confidence & Ego
There has always been this concept that artist have ego problems. The truth is you need both confidence and ego to help you along the way and let me explain how and why.
Your Ego will provide you with a false sense of greatness. Peoples ego vary both on a person to person basis and on an daily basis. What ego provides is the unsubstantiated confidence to attempt to draw REALLY well when you are quite frankly quite terrible. It's important for it to be there, without your ego you'd never get yourself to jump into thing you have no right to really attempt.
Time passes and ego fades. Based on your effort and progress you may have gained some grounds, heck you may have drawn something really good...But hopefully you have learned just enough to know how full of shit you where. This is good.
This is where Confidence comes in.
As time goes by you will EARN confidence. It's important to understand that confidence is built upon consistent repeatable results. As you gain experience drawing and you learn to repeat the same results over and over you will no longer worry about that aspect of art. When you are no longer worrying about something and you KNOW it's good this is confidence. Please do note that confidence in one self is subjective and the levels some of us need to reach to earn confidence may be quite varied. Confidence is truly knowing that you are doing before you do it without regretting it after you've done it.
Final Note
I've been drawing for a while. Off and on. I'm definitely drawing more now than I ever did when I was younger. Part of me still feels I wish I had committed earlier but several factors simply weren't in play for that to happen. In the long run what has been most important is just...
Sticking to it.
Sorry for the extra e-mails. Had some technical difficulties.

Due to tight deadlines and traveling out of country I wont be able to do Raffle this week sorry!
Simple break down of the many methods and factors I used in my daily sketching
Hello all. Files are prepping and upload. Last weeks tutorial is going up very soon!
I wanted to let you guys know that i'm putting Vynil Trash on hold. until i start chapter 2. THANKFULLY i'm ending it a very natural stopping point in the flow since it was intended as a 2 parter with 2 separate tones.
I will still be doing the update this week for the comic, but moving forward I will be focusing on doing LESS ink work. I really feel i need to give my wrist a wrest and I just put hand through a grinder when I ink. Everything has its costs. Anyway comics require the most inking so i'm going to offset into single image style panels with looser lines and focus more on color until my hand gets a longer rest.
Additionally i'll be in japan this weekend so no Wednesday Raffle this week unless things aren't as packed as I think they will be.
Thought id make this to show process.

Comic update will be just a little late this week. First page will be tomorrow.
My break down on eyes is still giving me some trouble so i'm going to discuss digital tools and inking.
It's very hard to explain inking in specific terms but what I can do is explain my process and how I aim for my results.
1- First I like to visualize the style i'm going for and collect art that is similar to the style. The art is less there to inspire me as much as it helps anchor me from deviation. Left to my own whims i'll wander off and lose sight of the final form I want.
2- Get a page to ink. I usually intend the style for a comic page so I prepare a sketch page. I also overlay a few comics I like from artist I want to emulate stylistically. I do this less to copy and more to get a good sense of full page presentation and more specifically getting good linewidth down. One of the key elements of good clear lineart is proper line width.
3- I choose 2 line sizes (at first). The strong line and the subtle line. This is the difference between outlines and strong shapes and softer subtler textures like hair and folds.
4- I select brushes close to the feel I want and start modifying them until they give the expression I want. Expression is basically everything the line does. How it tapers, the shape, the texture, soft or hard, its opacity. I keep working that brush with strokes until it's close to what I want, and then ink a whole page. If i'm not immediately impressed I repeat this process. It may take SEVERAL times. Don't balk, do you want a good result, or do you want a whole comic thats inked in a style you hate?
5- Find the style you like. Share with friends. Write down the brushes and sizes you worked at and ensure the image size is also marked (in pixels)
There is this argument that the tools don't make the artist. That a good artist can use any tool to make good art. The reality is that most of us aren't masters and relying on tools is what help us out when we can't always succeed. Many people still have this view that art is this purity that is never explained, and ignores that all old master painters heavily referenced and even traced from camera obscura projections. USE the tools you need to get the results you want.
What is important is that the TOOL bends to you. Do not BEND to the tool. It is wrong to assume the tool is right and you are wrong. All Tools should submit to your desires and what you want. If they don't, change them. Art is a long tedious process and being frustrated the whole time will cure your ability to indulge in it at length. Your number one priority with tools is comfort and the only way you'll ever achieve that is by using it with an intent and mastering and modifying the tool until it behaves how you want it to behave.
Think of it this way. A generic hammer is good for most people around the house, but as you get more skilled and focused in carpenting or metal working or whatever you'll discover specific tools that behave exactly like a hammer but offer different subtle variations. As you learn your trade and you focus on a desired result you discover over time certain hammers work perfectly for you and the result you want. That doesn't mean they will always be suitable. As your tastes and desires change, so do your tools. You'll maybe gravitate or even modify your current hammer to better suit your final result. Comfort and understanding your tools is an intrinsic part of being an artist. Just using whatever tool is presented to you with no effort to customize the tool to behave in a way YOU want cuts you out of a whole plethora of methods of interpreting line and colour.
We are all very different. I personally have many inkers because as my mood changes my desire for thicker, thinner, lighter or textured lines vary. Some days I want thicker lines, others wispy. I'm always chasing after the best feeling brush that expresses my desired results with the least amount of effort.
For me a brush is sometimes non-precise or textured to add "errors" so I'm less focused on perfect lineart and more on shape and form. Each one of my brushes has a general goal for its use but my favourite ones are the ones that can be used in multiple scenarios.
There is no better feeling for me than making a brush that fits exactly my mood and intent: When my expression flows fluidly and everything behaves in a way that matches my mood!
I've been using a brush pretty exclusively now for all my studies. It's something new i've created. Here is the data for it. Download the textures bottom right.
This week i'm simplifying my review to simpler smaller thing (eyes).
As much as I want to tackle every aspect right off the bat it's hard to ensure It sticks. As you reference and copy you get rewarded with results you like but the issue remains, how much of it sticks. I'll try combatting this loss by focusing on smaller elements and than repeating review each month in short intervals.
An observation I've made, and this may seem silly but obvious, but as I FOCUS on heads and facial features, i start to drop a lot of personal anxiety with them. I think drawing pages of nothing but those things I avoid will be good medicine for me as much as I hate it up front. Seeing your self tackles something in a much more confident fashion than the hair pulling you previously dealt with is pretty rewarding.
Another thing i'm noticing as I reference more is a added element of realism that gets injected into my art, which isn't exactly ideal especially with more cartoony styles. I'm keeping an eye on it for now and embracing it but at some point i'll have to actively work against putting into all of my art.
I'm starting to get a good feel of what I can get done in a day on top of other work though after christmas, time should be more open so i'll tackle bigger concepts.
!Click on download in the bottom right to get whole sheet.!
Here's some notes I've made so far while breaking down these faces.
1)
No matter how much you think you're exaggerating features, you really aren't. Some of the faces on this page I had intended to exaggerated and ended up being more normal featured than I anticipated.
So....If you are making caricatures, exaggerate until you are completely and utterly uncomfortable. Than do it some more. You naturally pull back even when you think your pushing the envelope.
2)
Compress features in a small zone inside the face approximately 1/4th to 1/6th of the head space. 1/8th or more with profile. You naturally want to draw facial features taking up most of the heads space. More often for than not, eyes, mouth and nose creep wayyyy out of the space they really belong in. If you review my sketches you'll see circles I've attempted to keep features in. This helped a lot to in respect to proportions and exaggerations.
3)
Find the simplest way to to express eyes , nose and lips without overworking the details. If overworked. Erase and start over. If the whole head gets over worked erase and start over. You want to get a good vibe, a zen state. This will help make drawing more enjoyable and give better results.
4)
There are multiple ways to learn from a drawing. On this sheet I have Caricatures, Exaggerations, Stylisations, Copies and anatomical breakdowns. Each one of these have different expectations from a final result. Breakdowns should be accurate so you should eventually place your copied work over the source to see how off you are. Caricatures should LOOK like the person and be hilarious. There IS a win condition for each one of these goals and you should work towards succeeding those goals.
5) Pay attention to similarities when dealing with racial differences. This goes beyond the more obvious elements like eye shape and mouth. For instance most of the black models I found had very sharp jaw lines and compressed facial features, while asians had very subtle cheek details.
6) Focus on shapes. If you can find a fun shape, OBEY the shape. If you see a cute sphere or a oblong rectangular thingy in the head, FOCUS on it and obey it as much as possible. It gives a much strong feeling to the overall drawing.
7) Better to have 1 great drawing out of 4 than 1 mediocre but overworked drawing. IF something isn't vibing just move on or erase. There's no reason to overwork something unless you are being technical with anatomical elements of the face. Otherwise may as well pull the old exam trick. Skip tough questions. Go for low hanging fruit! IT will pump you up and keep you focused.
8) Feature relationships are always more extreme than you think. For me I can't get over how far away the ear is from the rest of the facial elements. Like a whole necks width away. Also surprising is how big the skull can be or how small eyes are.
Focus on those things you seem to have a blind eye to. Highlight them and get yourself to stop making the same mistakes. FOCUS on what is broken not what you do well. Imagine if you do it almost all well, wont it feel nice!?
More updates tomorrow!
I haven't had the chance to review the head as much as I wanted but due to the kind help of Pwny3. I have very good reference material to help guide me on my way.

I also wanted to figure out how my portrait skills where and was pretty sad to discovered they've regressed pretty hard over time. I'll be sure to attempt a portrait each week to get me back into shape.
As for deconstructing the head. It seems that my own personal limitations is finding a method of integrating a stylised head base so that I don't lose style over realism. I have a 3d head reference with some stylistic interpretations so I can blend realism with cool shapes.
Additionally I noticed I wasn't so much unable to draw a good decent head especially with reference as much as blocked by way of style integration since proper anatomy often betrays stylistic choices.
My art may take a somewhat realistic tone in the new few months as I train my brain to handle things with more shape and form. Then revert back to more simple shapes with more "volume"

Hey guys, each week i'll break down some personal weakness and enumerate some tasks for the week to help me curb the issues. I'll be posting the results here and on tumblr as well as going into more verbal detail here on what i'm doing. I'll try and pull the veil back as much as possible as I've noticed through the years that the biggest hurdle many new artists have is the mysticism attributed to art. That it's some sort of magical mystery. Amazingly improvement comes often with the realization that you have to do what you can to improve and not fall into the trap of "that's not real art" or "that's cheating" mentality.
The steps i'll be taking go like this.
1) Identify issue.
2) Collect art resources.
3) Cull and isolate material to help improve issue.
4) Copy reference material for better understanding.
5) Do any related tutorials.
6) Apply what you've copied from memory without using reference.
7) See what sticks and what you forgot.
8) Highlight forgotten material for future study.
9) Apply everything you've learned into one piece specific to what you are trying to learn/fix.
If there are issues with my methods please let me know but i'll try and be as candid as possible.
Hey guys attached is my first pass on my own break down and the process i'm taking to improve on those elements. I will be updating with work through the week as well as the usual psd/jpg/videos and comic! Feel free to do your own review!

After this next Tutorial I will be changing the weekly tutorial format to be a bit different.
I'll be doing a complete review of my own art and skills and building a weekly study guide. I will be posting what my process is and giving you the same instructions. This will allow you to follow along as a take a deep look at my own art. Review my weaknesses and build up a series of artist and anatomy studies to bulk up my skill.
In this way the tutorials will be more a series of studies and artistic introspection and less a "Tutorial on a thing".
I feel for those who are artistically inclined. Following my process of personal improvement will give a unique perspective on improving as an artist!

How I Ink
I'm going to share with you my process and thoughts on inking.
Canvas size I work with is around 6k pixels or more, with a very light blue or greyish background. I start with a light blue sketch and drop the opacity of to around 15%. Working on multiple layers I ink using a color that is usually in the red spectrum (Web hex color code example #70ab2a).
Now to explain all this nonsense:
1) Why drop the opacity? I like to be able to barely see the under drawing. I want to be able to expand on the sketch instead of feeling locked into it. If the sketch it too dark you end up tracing more than inking. At least that's what it feels like to me. If the sketch is too dark, it conflicts with the visibility of the inking as well as distracts me from the process. It also helps hide any lighter lines that tend to be used to build the sketch.
2) Why a blue sketch? Blue is soft on the eyes, reduces eye strain and makes working more pleasent.
3) Why such a big canvas? This simulates working big in traditional media. A lot of comics are worked on at double or sometimes triple size. Little imperfections like lines not matching up, faint accidents, rough edge quality and so forth tends to seem removed or become diminished when resized to the smaller, final size. It also allows my art to be ready for print, not needing to worry about re-working the content if it's too small.
4) Why use multiple layers? This isn't always the case and it can get out of control and be annoying if you use too many. The use of multiple layers to ink has to do with intersecting lines. Drawing the background behind a character means you have to eyeball where lines match up behind them. If you draw straight through your characters on another layer and simply erase you can ensure the lines will be accurate. Elements like facial features go on its own layer because I want to be able to edit the face in case I made it too small or the eyes feel wrong without having to hurt the hair or other elements that occlude the face. The same also applies to skin tight clothing. The goal is to ensure the quality of the line stroke without harming previous work.
5) Why colored ink? I find that black ink tends to have a few issues. High contrasts tend to wear down your eyes. Pure black also accentuates tiny flaws in your inks, which I feel you can usually ignore as unnoticeable imperfections when using a different color. Colored ink, especially in the red spectrum, shows up well against the blue. It allows for a strong contrast without being harsh on the eyes. There are additional benefits: The lighter you go the less you can pick up on ink flaws. If you have a hard time not getting bogged down in details, using a light color may help you. It's just harder to see all the tiny little flaws so your focus is more on the general piece as a whole and less on individual components.
6) Why ink on a light blue/gray background? This just reduces more harsh contrast, eye strain stuff. Staring at a big bright white screen for hours is tiring.
Inking tool?
I have an assortment of about 15 inkers that I've made for myself to fit specific needs. They all have a different feel and my selection of those inkers or making new ones depend on my mood, my artistic direction and the projects overall look or intended look. If I want something cartoony I ensure my inker has a round tip and doesn't fluctuate in size much. If I want something sharp or edgy I use a rectangular or triangular brush tip with stronger size variation. I keep tweaking the brush and inking a page until it feels right. I then note the size of the brush. I often have 2 sizes or 2 brushes I use per job. 1 for overall line work and another for details and hatching. Choosing an inking tool is about your comfort. I've inked in varying tools. My latest comic, Inner Fire, was done with Paint Tool Sai's default marker tool. I did this to keep the feeling of the comic soft and round.
Tutorial Attached!
Updates a little later tonight, I want to get a drawing done for supporters since the output is lower this week.
I want to thank you all for supporting this effort! Your very real and tangible support helps keep this steam train going!
Next tutorial. Any ideas?
I'm currently in the middle of a Rainbow Dash Folio.
If you guys have some ideas of what I should do next please let me know!

KLK inks added to Video level. You'll get the whole weeks worth of videos, psd's, dez and jez full sized and KLK inks full size!
Thanks for your patronage. It really means a lot. I can spend more time on this stuff!
If you supported last week for the archive. Check the notes now and download the file and downgrade your support level! I don't want to charge your twice unless you're being super nice with your supporting, in that case thanks!
If you want to reduce your pledge level from the archive tier you can do so now. I have the info I need to give you the files regardless.
Tutorial and Japanese Version attached!
Thanks so much! For those of you who wanted the archive the update is coming later today. Be sure to remember to change your support level tomorrow if you were only interested in the archives as a one time thing!
Thanks for waiting. Got an extra drawing in!
Hey. I'm going to delay sending today just a bit and get an extra drawing in so you guys have more content. Should be sent later tonight!
At 15 you will get every PSD\VIDEO dump since december. Feel free to dip in for a week to nab it all!
Hey guys thanks for hanging in there during my vacation ill be back by the 20th
The following is a breakdown of my comics process. I'll be tackling each one of these when I get back from vacation!
Concept
Come up with a concept. This is usually something that can be summed in a sentence. Depending on how firm the idea is, it could be a varying version of the same concept. Keep it simple and easy to pitch, ex: "Elf princess finds magical horse, they bond and the magical horse dies for her for friendship reasons". It doesn't have to be eloquent just succinct and to the point.
Paragraph
Once I've nailed down a concept I like I build a paragraph outlining major portions of the story. This is low effort and allows me to find any troubles story wise. Anything that takes a long time to explain or conflicts with previous sentences can be quickly resolved at this stage. Once you have a solid paragraph description of your concept you should be able to build a half decent script.
Freeform Script
Everyone's process varies from person to person. I don't immediately hammer out a detailed script because I'm not fond of creating rigid guidelines for each panel. Instead what I do is build a free form script that is mostly a stream of thought pushing through the story. This is the sort of thing that you don't really share with anyone, it should be functional to you. When I write mine, I jump from 3rd person to first person paying no attention to any formal rules. Sometimes I throw in dialogue I'm sure I want to see, but mostly it is narrative. I pay no attention to anything beyond vomiting words and getting the whole story told however I can. I then read this over and over, finding any plot holes or character issues. Once you've done this you can easily figure out the major beats to the story (a beat being a significant story element). An example of a beat could be: bully pushes boy, boy fights back. There are no real rules for any of this, just get a good feeling of the idea that's been percolating in your mind. Read it and make adjustments.
Design
The design phase can happen during the concept phase or prior. When I design depends on how important the visual style is for the story-telling. During design I amass all the concept and art i've found I like and would like to see in my comic. I make a folder and often reference it when I'm thinking of elements I can't do well myself but want to see in my comic. Each time I do a new comic I try to tackle something new I'm not very good at. This helps me improve while using my core skill set as a support so I'm not overwhelmed with the project.
From a design standpoint I try to hammer out all the detail that are important. Is there a sword? Do we need to see it up close? Who are the main characters, what are they wearing? Do they change clothes? What locations do I need to draw? What colors am I using? Draw everything on a giant canvas so you can easily review everything in one image.
Often I will break down a few pages or concepts in the script i'd like to visualize to help cement my confidence. Once you have a firm grip around the design of the project you can move on to thumbnails.
Thumbnails
During the thumbnailing process you should focus on pacing, staging, legibility and character expression. I draw on a small canvas (2000 pixels tall) with a 5 by 5 grid of rectangles representing each page to keep details at a minimum. I use a light color to draw in the pages. I try to focus on legibility and expression while reducing my focus on anatomy and precision. Investing too much time in thumbs is a bad idea, especially if you have to change or destroy a few pages. You want to be spending less then 30 minute per page, 15 minutes is ideal.
When breaking down the page for panels I try to work around 6-9 panels for story pages and 1-5 for adult panels. When deciding how many story pages versus adult pages I use the 2:5 rule. 2 story pages for every 5 adult pages. Comic book panels are there for multiple reasons, if you don't know how to use them for advanced reasons then don't. Don't do fancy things you don't understand. Go for clarity and legibility as a beginner. Clean, simple, easy to follow. Each panel easily follows the next. Each action and drawing clearly presented and laid out in a pleasant way with solid character silhouettes.
Once you've mucked your way through the whole script you should be able to easily read and follow the story. You should be able to identify parts that are confusing or unclear. Most of your flow issues should become tangible and easy to fix. Do not be afraid to remove or add pages, holding back at this point will only hurt your comic.
Thumbs + Dialogue
Take each thumbnail and paste it in a document, I like to use google docs. I have a table with 2 columns that show thumbnail on the left and script on the right. I break down each page and clean up the script so there are no longer any loose ends. This is also a good place to add sound effects as it ensures all of the text and dialogue has room. When I'm done I should have the whole thumbnail sequence on the left and the script on the right with a cell for each page and script.
At this point you can share this with friends and colleagues to help get impartial feedback. Fixes and edits are simple and easy to do. Notes can be added and everything that needs to be resolved can be done with ease.
Refine
Copy the thumbnail and paste it into your final full sized document, then re-size it to match your new document. The size is up to you but I work at around 6000 pixels. I do this so that minor mistakes will not be visible once I resample the image down for web distribution. It gives a nice clean final result. At this point I'm sketching in a more refined manner over the thumbnail which adds the detail I need to ink. I don't overdo it. I only sketch what I know I'll need to see visibly to ink well, since some elements I can draw well without refining. No reason to draw it twice if you're confident in your abilities. This is different for everyone though, so if you need to do this there is no wrong in doing so.
Ink
Ink it, simple as that! You can use whatever process you're comfortable with at this stage, as it's pretty straight forward. If you are inking and you find yourself inking something unclear over and over, then stop inking. Fix the sketch then ink it with confidence. To keep your lines orderly it may help to put backgrounds or facial expressions in their own layers to allow for easy editing. This isn't necessary though and just depends on what you're comfortable with.
Color or Tone
Color your work. Get it done!
Effects
I this phase I do fancy lighting, glows, color correction and other effects. I work on top of a flattened version of the colored version so that I have an original colored PSD and an effects PSD.
Text, Gutters & Sound Effects
Once effects are done fill out the borders and gutters (space between borders) using layer effects (outline) in photoshop. I use thicker lines for horizontal and thinner lines for vertical to help legibility. I keep gutter spaces consistent throughout the whole comic. Text is done easily using photoshop. Find a good legible font. CC Wild Word font comes to mind. For dialogue bubbles I use the shape tool and some custom shapes, and drop it on a layer with outline layer effects. Sound effects are usually a font, but exceptions are made for certain ones that need to be hand-drawn. This includes large fonts, ones that need to follow shapes, or ones that fonts can't portray very well.
Once done you repeat the process until your comic is done basically!
I'll be gone for 2 weeks from the 7th to the 20th. I have time for one more tutorial.
Next week and the week I return will be merged together to make a full week.
After the vacation I intend to do a series of tutorials covering comic making based on the Devil Girls comic i'm making. A page will be released and a tutorial explaining a portion of the process will be made for each page.
Hey guys, this tutorial is a bit more wordy but I hope it gives you some good stuff to think about.
Thanks for waiting. Uploads are slow as usual.
The next tutorial will be on organic distribution. How to make hair, freckles, outfits, folds and etc.. look more natural.
Wanted to share with you guys my thumbnailing process. Images kept small to ensure that I don't over detail. These are a bit over detailed but it means the final process will be easier!
A simple outline of some general hip concepts.
Internet is really slow. I'll be sending the weekly files as soon as they upload!
For those who want to see the source files.

I've dropped the milestone to 250 (4$ away) I pretty much consider that a hit goal. I'll be making weekly tutorials moving on! Thanks to everyone who has supported so far! Next tutorial will be BOOB SHINES
The first go at this concept. Soon i'll get some step by step guides for specific results.
Sharing with supporters my tutorials source file and my brushes to help simulate and inspect the layers and so forth!
