Jerry Willey is an American politician who is the 41st and incumbent mayor of Hillsboro, Oregon, a position he has held since January 6, 2009.

Biography

Willey served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and has been involved in Hillsboro politics since 1983, serving on the Hillsboro City Council from 1992 until 1997.[2][3] Willey graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in business and accounting.[2] He is married to former Oregon International Air Show president Judy Willey and has two children, Rob and Kasi.[4][5][6] Willey, elected in 2008, took office on January 6, 2009, succeeding Tom Hughes. His term is set to expire in January 2017.[7] He won the "Mayors' Leadership Award of Merit" from the Oregon Mayors' Association in August 2015.[8]
