Dinanath Bhaskar (hindi-दीनानाथ भाष्कर) is a founder member of Bahujan Samaj Party and former minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is a strong dalit leader and once a close confidant of Kanshi Ram. He is currently in Bhartiya Janta Paty (BJP).

Mr Bhaskar was the health minister during the Samajwadi Party (SP)-BSP coalition led Uttar Pradesh government in 1993 and had later quit the BSP to join Samajwadi Party in 1996.

Dinanath Bhaskar is the former State Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Dinanath Bhaskar is an Indian politician, who is a two-time MLA from Uttar Pradesh. He was born on 10 March 1963 in Village: Khetarpala, Post: Ramgarh, Vidhansabha and tahsil: Sakaldiha, District: Chandauli. Bhaskar began his political career as a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party's. He won the Legislative Assembly elections from the Chandauli constituency in 1993 on an Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ticket. He left the party after Mayawati herself accused Mulayam Singh Yadav of trying to buy over Bhaskar. He then joined the Samajwadi Party in 1996 and successfully contested the 2002 Bhadohi elections and became Member of Legislative Assembly. He left the party after being denied a Vidhan Sabha ticket in by-election (2009) Bhadohi. He then joined The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and was made Coordinator of Allahabad zone, Mirzapur zone and Varanasi Zone Respectively. He resigned from BSP membership on 4 April 2015.
