Dean Neistat is an American stuntman[1] and actor.[1] He is also a decorated USAF combat pilot who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.[2]

Early years

Dean grew up in a small town in coastal Connecticut. He was the youngest of 4 children. He attended Ledyard public schools from kindergarten until he graduated Ledyard high school in 2001. He excelled at tennis and spent 3 years on the varsity tennis team. His best record was during his junior year where he won 15 matches and lost only 2.[3] Ledyard High School tennis team was the Eastern Connecticut Conference Champion that year.[4]

Post Military Life

Dean separated from active duty in March 2012. He then moved to NYC to pursue a career as a stuntman. He quickly gained traction with the local stunt community with jobs on several Feature Films and Television programs. During this time he began studying acting with Sondra Lee.[5] After booking several small parts on TV shows and films, Dean booked a strong supporting role in the film Patriots Day (film) playing opposite Kevin Bacon in 2016.[6] The film premiered at AFI Fest in Los Angeles and had its red carpet premiere in Boston on December 14, 2016.[7]
