Arctic Zero is a brand of frozen desserts sold in the United States.[1] The company was founded in 2009 as Arctic Zero CSSC by Greg Holtman and Garrett Blood, then reorganized to Arctic Zero in 2010. It is known for its pre-packaged ice cream pints with low fats and calories.[2][3]

Their products can be found at 14,000 retail stores and supermarkets across the whole of the United States, including hotels and restaurants.[4][5]

History

Arctic Zero was founded initially as California Soft Serve concepts and then renamed Arctic Zero by Greg Holtman and Garrett Blood,[6] two high school friends, who got an idea to serve the people with a healthy ice cream that tastes good.[7][8][9] Amit Pandhi joined the company and was hired by the founders to be CEO.[10] The company was rebranded as Arctic Zero and was incorporated as a Delaware C-Corp in 2010. The company was one of the first to offer healthy ice-cream alternatives[11] and gained popularity because of its claim to be free from fat, lactose, GMO and gluten while being low glycemic and kosher.[12][13]

Today, Arctic Zero is made in production facilities across the country and headquartered in San Diego, California.[14] As of 2016, it sells its product online and through 14,000 retail stores and supermarkets in the United States.

Products

Arctic Zero produces 16 flavors of frozen dessert pints and 3 products in total.[15] In the U.S., Arctic Zero product lines include:
