Zoya Afroz (born 10 January 1994) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Hindi films. She was the winner of Pond's Femina Miss India Indore 2013.[1] She was later crowned as Pond’s Femina Miss India International 2013[2] at the 50th edition of Pond’s Femina Miss India, held at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai on 24 March 2013. She has also worked in numerous films, serials and commercials as a child artist.

Early life and education

Afroz was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.[3] She has done her schooling from R N Shah High School, and attended Mithibai College in Vile Parle, Mumbai.[3]

Afroz was one of the top five finalists of Femina Miss India 2013.[4] She was crowned Miss India International 2013 in the contest by previous year winner Rochelle Maria Rao.

Career

Afroz got her break with Rasna Mahasearch Contest at the age of three after which she did a TV commercial for the same brand.[5] She was also seen in other TV commercials like Whirlpool, Shoppers stop, Jet Airways, PSPO fan and New York Life Insurance, as a child artist.[5]

She appeared in the films Hum Saath Saath Hain and Kuch Naa Kaho as a child.[5] At the age of 18 she was crowned the winner of Pond’s Femina Miss India Indore 2013. In addition to acting, Afroz is an active celebrity endorser for several brands and products, including Pond's Face wash.[6][7]

In 2016, Zoya did a short film for One Plus smartphone opposite Amit Sadh.[8] She is doing a film Sweetie Desai weds NRI opposite Himansh Kohli.[9][10]
