Zee Punjabi, formerly known as 'Alpha ETC Punjabi', is a pay television channel that is available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland. It is a popular Punjabi language television channel from Noida, India. Programming comes in the form of movies, news, dramas, comedies, talk shows and religious programming from Harmandir Sahib. A Canadian version was launched in partnership with Asian Television Network. In May 2016 the channel was banned and took off air in Punjab by the Badal family

In the United Kingdom, Alpha ETC Punjabi was replaced with Zee Punjabi on 1 January 2009.[1] Zee Punjabi has been available since 2003 on Sky channel 846 and Virgin Media channel 812.

Its title song is sung by popular playback singer Harshdeep Kaur.

Excuse Me Please was started by Jagmeet Bal, popular music video director, when he was a director with Alpha TV Punjabi. Other popular shows directed by Jagmeet Bal for the channel include Meriyan Gallan Mere Geet, Sunehe, Guddi Chardi Jandi, Screen Test Take It Easy and SaReGaMa Punjabi. His creative skills and good sense of humor are reflected in these shows. These shows are still liked by millions of people.
